Fitness Isn’t Just a Goal – It’s a Way of Life (And You Don't Have to Be a Gym Rat)
Let’s get something straight: fitness doesn’t mean six-pack abs, eating chicken and broccoli every day, or spending two hours at the gym while blasting EDM. (Unless that’s your thing—in which case, go off.)
Fitness is about feeling good in your body, having energy to do the things you love, and building a life that’s not ruled by pain, fatigue, or stress. It’s personal, it’s evolving, and—surprise!—it’s allowed to be fun.
So... What Is Fitness Really?
Fitness is kind of like your favorite pair of jeans—it should fit you, not the other way around. For some people, it means running marathons. For others, it’s being able to chase their kids without getting winded. It could be lifting heavy weights, walking 10k steps a day, dancing in your kitchen, or finally touching your toes.
If you’re moving, you’re doing it. If you’re improving, you’re winning.
Start Where You Are. Seriously.
There’s this toxic idea that you have to get fit before you go to the gym or start a new routine. That’s like saying you need to be fluent in Spanish before taking a Spanish class.
