Dwight Fairfield is no stranger to being talked down to. He’s lived with it all his life, but he can’t help the way his smile drops over Edward trying to make the leader sound inferior to himself. It does sting slightly to get spoken to so sarcastically when he’s only trying to raise spirits and do the best of his ability at leading. He tries his best not to hold the rude behavior against Edward. After all, Jake has made it very clear that he’s a dick-bag, but at least he means well.

“I-... I know we can do this, if push comes to shove I’ll run around as a distraction. Then at least one of us will be guaranteed to escape.” He’s used to throwing himself at the killers for the sake of other survivors, and by the way Edward addresses him it sounds like he wouldn’t mind for Dwight to leave him anyways.

“But until then we have to work together, alright? I’ll get you out of here.” he’d assure the other survivor with a small nod, the tiny smile returning just a bit more unsure this time.

There wasn’t very much for the wealthier man to go on here, hearing the confirmation of his second teammate being taken upward into the sky in a grand spectacle for all to see. There was… maybe 1 generator left? He had lost count a long time ago, and he wasn’t aware if his other teammate was involved in a sadistic chase or not. And he certainly hoped the Killer wasn’t in pursuit when he saw the other aforementioned Survivor.

It was the pizza deliver who didn’t have any pizza. Pity.

He was going to let him slip by, unnoticed, until, apparently, Dwight's glasses did him justice for once.

The explosion of energy that radiates off the hook of a newly sacrificed survivor makes the leader cringe, his hair getting tousled along with the grass from the force of it. His eyebrows pinch together in concentration and distress, glancing around in search of where his last teammate might be found. His unnatural ability to sense other survivors leads his eyes, searching the dark damp forest for any sight of them.

When he spots the older Park brother, he feels the slightest bit of relief, for once luck was on his side and allowed him to partner up with Edward very easily. He lets a small comforting smile grace his face, lightly jogging up to the other survivor. He feels a new sense of hope now that he didn’t feel like he had to achieve their goal in this trial alone.

“H-- Hey, hey! I’m so glad I found you, this’ll make everything a million times easier..” he whisper-yells to Edward before he even reaches him, then stops right next to the Korean man, “Th-There’s only one left to repair, and I think it’s in a pretty secluded spot? We’ll be out of here in no time.”

⌛️ - How often does your muse think about death? Do they think about it at all?

//In the world they’re in it’s about all he can think about. It wouldn’t be the same way we would think about death though, his view on it would be pretty desensitized because he dies over and over. Sometimes he wishes he would die permanently, but those wishes are pretty much immediately trumped by the fear of leaving the camp without a leader to help them

🍟 - How does your muse feel about their body? Would they change it if they could?

//In general he really isn’t that bothered by his own body. If you had asked him that when he was still in high school that answer would be different, but now that he’s gotten older he realizes this is the body he’s stuck with he might as well just accept that it’s his and not hate himself so much for it. If he could change it he would want to be taller and less scrawny, just by beauty standards. But in trials he wishes he was like Feng Min’s size so he could hide easier.

📢 - Does your muse have a loud personality or a quiet one? Do they enjoy being the center of attention, or would they rather watch and listen?

// In general he would have a very quiet personality, preferring to watch others outside of trials instead of jumping in on all the social things the other survivors do. The realm is such a sudden wake up to him it’s like an unexpected public speaking class, and he has to learn quick how to address others and give swift instructions or literally they could die. So, really I feel like it would be very different how he voices himself in and out of trials. Out of trails he would be reserved and wishy-washy, probably just going what with others want and only speaking when necessary. In the trials though even the way his voice sounds would be different, like he’s taken on a new personality. He’d sound very firm and comforting, talking people through the trial and giving them instructions.
