First of all, thank you so much for the ProwlExes week! About what you have talked to with the other anon, maybe you could make a poll next year if you are unsure if there is enough interest. I am so sorry I couldn't participate this year. Totally wanted to, but then things happened and I had no time the last few weeks. Anyway, thanks! If it should happen in 2022 again, I will be in this time!

My pleasure! ^^ Could try that, but I feel like it's not that hard to get a read on fandom. In general, theme weeks seem to do best when they're for things folks were already thinking about/making anyway. Maybe this time next year that'll be exes, maybe it'll be some other window into the enigma of Prowl. The man is multifaceted!

🥺 thank you anon! That's so kind of you to say! I'm not sure yet what the future of the event should be; in such a small fandom with shifting interests, it's possible folks will have moved on from Prowl's disastrous love life by this time next year. I like to host things people enjoy, so if the tides are changing, I'll probably follow them.

But if we're all still collectively dissecting Prowl and the exes parade? Certainly wouldn't be opposed to doing this again :>

Keeping your husband-slash-boss out of trouble is a full-time job and Prowl deserves a raise. I have completely given up on making sense of IDW Prowl’s ever-changing design and lack of decent references so I’m just making it up as I go now.

*wheezes sadly* frick I REALLY wanted to do more for this week in general, but time is rude so I just had to colour the sketch. Prowl is my boy he deserves more 😔 hopefully I can at least put together my idea for day 7 and end on a high-note

Day 4 - Open Wound

Prowl emerged from the caverns feeling sticky. The strange mists had reacted badly with his finish and reactivated his paint, leaving the topmost layer of his plating malleable. He tried to walk in such a way to minimize contact between plates, but this was an impossible goal, and every step resulted in a shiver as he felt different parts of himself cling to each other a moment before regretfully releasing their hold.
