Bobby could sense the want and desire from Kitty from how she looked at him and stayed so close to him which made it so much harder not to go directly back to kissing her. My Lord, she tasted so sweet… But he had to talk to her. And after he did, his heart was  heavy in his chest waiting for her response. Beating so loudly one could practically hear it. Bobby’s mouth opened wide with a bright grin once she did respond, letting out a brief indistinct noise in pure joy. He went in to give her a kiss, but pulled away before he did. He had to fight back the incredible urge to go back kissing her… He had to be serious and talk to her.

“Really? Fuh… Ye… Yes!” Bobby stammered, hardly able to process words with how happy and how surprised he was that she told him she wanted the same thing he did. He pulled her in tightly and couldn’t help but give her a quick peck on her lips. “Kitty… I’ve wanted… I’ve wanted to be in a relationship with you since the day we met. I thought I never stood a chance with you…” There was one big reason to that, but he wouldn’t say it… Piotr. And Lorna, but… Mostly Piotr.

“But… S-so… Will you be my girlfriend? A-are we boyfriend and girlfriend now?” A very small part of Bobby wanted to take her out to some place on a date right then and there. Every other part of his body just wanted to stay right where they were. God knows what was going to happen next.

A laugh escaped her lips when she realized he was going to kiss her once more, but he pulled away from her. He was just as happy as she was, and that was so good, to see him like that, he looked so radiant. Things seemed to be getting right. Perhaps it was a new beginning, and she would be glad to spend her days with him. In fact, she really liked that idea, after all, Kitty did feel something special for him  — Bobby was SPECIAL. 

The young woman stared at him, capturing and studying every reaction he had, and he was really charming. He was so genuine and spontaneous, she could see it clearly. Now Kitty was surprised once more. He was certainly full of surprises that day. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest as she heard his words, asking if they were now boyfriend and girlfriend  — a COUPLE. A part of Kitty just wanted to kiss him again, would it be an acceptable answer? Probably not, she had to say it aloud. 

A RELATIONSHIP. For a second she wondered if things would work this time. She had gone through a lot of things, just like Bobby, but if he was willing to forget his past and leave the old relationships behind, then she would do the same. All she wanted now was to be happy and have him by her side.

“Yes, Bobby, I will be your girlfriend. I mean, I’d be glad to be your girlfriend.” The girl smiled a little. She was so happy, just like a teenager once more, and it was so good. Now they were a couple, and what was that suppose to mean? Honestly, Kitty had no idea, but she was willing to find out, especially because she would do it with him. “I think now we’re oficially a COUPLE, Mr. Drake,” a small breathy laugh escaped her lips after she said those words. In fact, it was strange to say those words, but it was also very good.

For this moment, Bobby showed no signs of slowing down or pulling away from Kitty. His tongue explored her mouth and wrestled with hers. Subconsciously emitting cool air around them. He was too caught up with KISSING the VERY attractive woman in front of him to control his powers and what went on around them, or care.

After the two’s hot, passionate kiss went on for quite awhile, Bobby realized that he had to stop. Stop himself before he’d get too far with her like he was prone to do. He slowly pulled away from the kiss and bit his bottom lip, looking at her. He wanted her so bad. Not just intimacy, but a relationship with her. He always wanted it, but was too shy to ask. Afraid that she would turn him down as they were friends. But now, it seemed like she wanted it too. So he would finally ask her. “Kitty…”

���I’ve… I’ve wanted this for so long… I’ve wanted you for so long… I… Want us to be together…”

Honestly, she didn't want to pull away from him. Kitty was comfortable kissing him, their bodies pressed against each other. The kiss was INTENSE, his tongue slipping against her mouth, gentle but still demanding, leaving her entire body aware of his presence. It was as if her heart could explode at any moment. 

She wished she could stay like this forever, but she still had to breath, that's why their bodies were pulled away from each other, though she would love to keep kissing him over and over again. She continued in silence, just staring at Bobby for a few minutes, as if she wanted to keep that moment in her mind like a PRECIOUS memory. They had been friends for so long, maybe Bobby wasn't ready to change that, and she would fully understand it.

She was nervous and anxious when she heard him saying her name, there were a hundred of thoughts in her mind trying to guess what he was going to say next. When Kitty finally heard Bobby's words, her eyes were, once more, wide open in surprise, but quickly another bright smile came across her face, and for a brief moment she wondered if she was dreaming. 

"Y— You do?" A short pause. Kitty was still processing the words that came out of his mouth. "I... would love that. I really would. I do want us to be TOGETHER."

It was good to be an X-Man again. Although she had spent a certain amount of time away from Earth, the X-Men were still her FAMILY, the people who helped her grow up, the little girl who was only thirteen years old when she joined the team. Certainly things had changed since those days, her friends had grown up, just like her, but they were still her family. 

Kitty had missed this, being with them, fighting for a cause with them. However, this time things were different, now she was the leader. A responsibility she would have to deal with. For a moment, she was AFRAID, maybe that was more than she could handle, but she preferred to believe that as long as she had her friends with her, things would be all right. 

It was already night, the mansion was quiet, she would dare say it was even strange. Her mind was full of thoughts until she suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching her. Kitty quickly turned to see who was entering the room. When she saw it was Piotr there, a soft smile crossed her lips as she looked up at the man who was now in front of her. Honestly, she liked the idea of being on the same team as him again. 

"Hey, Peter," A short pause as she stared at him. It was so NOSTALGIC, the fact that she was back to the X-Men and also working with him once more. "I believe everyone is asleep right now, can I help you with anything?”

Era difícil acreditar que Logan havia partido, justo ele entre todas as pessoas. Wolverine, o suposto imortal que já vivera por mais de cem anos e que agora não estava mais entre eles. Doía ter que relembrar isso. Não era segredo que Kitty era uma pessoa próxima de James e o considerava um bom amigo. Eles compartilharam muitos momentos desde que ela entrara para os X-Men, foi seu mentor e, além disso, um grande amigo. 

Era uma dor inexplicável a perda de alguém tão ESPECIAL, uma pessoa que ajudara a construir a adulta que Kitty se tornara. Por ser tão próxima de seu ex-mentor e amigo, a dor da perda era árdua e, certamente, não iria embora tão cedo. A tristeza que encontrava-se nela a corroía, era tudo tão recente e doloroso, mas ela buscava recompor-se a cada segundo, tentando fingir que estava bem para, pelo menos, tentar passar uma tranquilidade, ainda que não existente, para os alunos. Ela precisava fazer isso, precisava manter as aparências por ele, pelo seu amigo, zelando por aquilo que eles construíram juntos. 

E então, ela avistou Laura do outro lado da sala, quieta e INDECIFRÁVEL. Não que ela não fosse assim nos outros dias, mas, dessa vez, era diferente. Algo não se encaixava. É óbvio que a perda de Logan a afetaria de alguma forma. Kitty não conseguia sequer imaginar o que a garota estava sentindo. Raiva, melancolia, dor, tristeza. Laura era IMPREVISÍVEL e, por isso, seus sentimentos se tornavam um mistério, mas havia algo lá. Algo que a mutante estava determinada a entender para que pudesse ajudá-la a reerguer-se. 

Em passos largos e calmos, Katherine cruzou a sala, acabando com a longa distância entre as duas e colocando-se de pé em frente a outra menina. Ela hesitou por um momento, tentando descobrir qual seria a melhor forma de abordar o assunto, entretanto, não havia melhor forma. Nada mudaria aquele fato. Wolverine não voltaria e aquilo a devastava de uma maneira estrondosa e, por mais que Laura fosse negar, ela também sabia que aquilo a afetava, afinal, era algo NÍTIDO. Hesitante, a jovem finalmente decidiu falar, procurando tomar cuidado na escolha de palavras. 

"Laura, você está bem? Eu estava preocupada." 

Havia sinceridade em cada uma de suas palavras. Embora não houvesse menção direta ao assunto, estava implícito que tratava-se da perda de Logan. O tom de voz preocupado e a tristeza no seu olhar tornavam isso evidente.
