The importance of caring about your future self. Everyone talks about your inner child, but what's even more important is also caring about your future adult.
It's like we heal in retrospect, going through our lives and moving in our future. First, we grow a little older, and then we focus on our inner child, and hopefully once we get our inner child healed, then we have to focus on the healing while healing our inner child.
Not always of course- some people may have foresight. People who grew up with healthier families. That’s just one area on the spectrum of all possibilities. I heard in the quantum field.

One can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or one can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift one can have - life itself. - Walter Anderson
