Always chasing after all kinds of birds and bugs, scared poor Miller’s daughter trying to give her a live bird for some darn reason. Goodness knows why Marshall’s boy seems to like the big oddball so much, but at least it keeps him out of trouble. I ain’t still got all the paint off my car from the last time he tagged it. Though, and this just between you and me…I swear there’s something off about him. Not quite…’there’, if you know what I mean.”

???: “…Ah, but no, he’s not a bad one. Does and says the damndest things, and I swear he never seems to blink…but I’ve seen how he acts. Never minces his words that one, but he’s a good kid. Six done a heck of a job raising him, especially considering- …well, that’s old news now. Not so polite to talk about poor ol’ Lynn…”

AiA Adam had about as normal a childhood as you could get. His dad raised him with love and care, and even helped him channel his energy into eccentric but safe hobbies, like taxidermy bugs and bird watching. He’s got a sixth sense for alternates, which is why (after a small misunderstanding) Sarah recruits him to BPS to help out. He’s certainly a character…but he makes for a great friend.

I'm tired

Hey guys. I'll try to get back to posting and answering asks soon, I've just been having a rough time lately. Seeing my art reposts like that on a platform I never wanted it associated with was especially discouraging, and it kind of genuinely made me question if I even wanted to post online anymore if this is how people are going to treat me as an artist.

I know not all of you are like that though. Most of you are wonderful and I love reading any little comments you make on my posts, it's the sole reason I like to check my reblog activity. So, I'm not giving up yet, but I do really wish there was more I could do about reporters since I can't exactly file a copyright claim without going through a whole process of filing official claims and such.

I haven't forgotten about AiA either, I've just been a little stuck lately. Extreme burnout from work and school hit basically as soon as I finished classes, and I'm ashamed to say I've been able to do anything other than just kind of sit around doing nothing all day. I don't want to stagnate on it, but drawing or even writing feels like pulling teeth right now.

Hopefully, I'll be back soon, and not with another crash out about TikTok.

I'm starting to get pissed off with these reposters who just steal uncredited shit off Pinterest. I'm especially pissed off it's being used for someone's think piece on TikTok which I DO NOT WANT. I don't want my art circulating around there. I had to make an account and tell them to fuck off, and I said it multiple times just in case they wanna delete all my comments (they deleted comment from a mutual telling them politely that this went against my wishes). If someone here needs a reminder-

DO NOT REPOST MY ART. DO NOT REPOST IT TO TIKTOK AND ESPECIALLY DO NOT PUT YOUR THINK PIECE OVER IT. DO NOT BE A COWARD AND DELETE COMMENTS CALLING YOUR DUMBASS OUT.

Reposters are a leech and parasite on fandoms. I don't care if they're young and "don't know better", you wanna just delete a polite comment saying what you're doing is wrong instead of addressing it? Then I'm going to be rude as fuck to you. I don't owe you any kindness if you don't want to learn your lesson.

I'm tired of this shit. If this keeps up I'm just not going to post for this fandom because I'm sick of the ignorant people who think this is okay. I've tried being nice about it and gotten spit in the face in return with my wishes continually disrespected and my polite comments ignored and deleted.

In AiA, does Mark ever find out that Cesar is an alternate? If he does, how does he react? Does he accept the knowledge (possibly after freaking out) and live with it or does he lose his mind/sanity and do something drastic?

There is one time he finds out about Cesar’s true nature, but his memory of that night is damaged and he doesn’t remember finding out. Alt Cesar manages to lie to him for several years longer about it, and Mark is none the wiser. After all, an alternate wouldn’t save his life, would he?

I gotta say, I’m falling in love with your Alternates in Arms AU. The idea of alternates taking the place of humans, and ending up enjoying taking their place, and befriending their friends, and living their lives, is very interesting.

Thank you! It probably stems from the deeper desire in me to believe the human spirit can triumph over alternates but really I’m just a sucker for “the inhuman desires to be human”.

Can an alternate long for friendship? At least in this AU, yes…and maybe he could have it too.

have any of the Alternates (or people in general actually, but I assume that's less likely) ever eaten a person? In the AIA au or in your regular canon.

I did do this art once of Adam eating Jonah tho that was more metaphorical (unbalanced/unhealthy relationships). In regular canon I don’t think alternate need to eat, they can but they don’t NEED to. So I suppose they wouldn’t unless there’s some reason for it

In AiA, alternates do need to eat because they have organic bodies that require sustenance, but I don’t think they’d eat a human (not very nutritious). If any of them would though it’d be N, because AiA N is a freak…

Thanwa actually belongs to my friend @djthekillercomrblx-blog , I just draw him a lot because I like him!

Astar has his own tag on my blog (astar magdalene) but the post that has the most lore about him would be this one. He’s a fandom OC tho so obviously his lore is tied with Mandela Catalogue lore
