I sat down at the water fountain, watching as people walked by. Today is rather quiet…

In the distance I heard a cheery voice yell “Komaeda-Kun!!” Quickly recognizing the excited call of my underclassman Ryoko.

She was running so fast she almost ran into the water fountain but I was able to pull her in before that happened. Her body was hugged tightly against mine, the sweet smell of her hair entered my nostrils.

She let out “Ow I almost hurt myself again… Thanks for breaking my fall.”

I nodded releasing her “It’s fine don’t worry about it.”

She sat down next to me asking “Soo how are you today? It’s been awhile since we last hung out.” Taking out her notebook she looked it over “In fact according to my notebook the last time we talked was a week ago.”

She keeps track of our times together? I wonder why. I asked “Well according to your notebook how much time have we spent together?”

She quickly flipped through her notebook “Umm according to my notebook we’ve been meeting up twice a week for two months.”

I’ve spent more time with her than I’ve ever spent with anyone else. I get bored quickly with most people and yet I don’t mind being around her.

Her hand grabbed mine. She looked away from me asking “Komaeda-Kun do you have a girlfriend?”

I quickly answered “No I don’t why do you ask?”

Her head rested on my arm “I was wondering if you would like to go out with me?”

I’ve never went out with anyone before, I’ve always seen people in relationships but never understood how they were supposed to act. Do we have to be like those TV couples?

Even though I wasn’t really sure what being in a relationship meant I decided to agree to go out with Ryoko. Maybe she can teach me “Sure that sounds fine. You’ll have to show me what I’m supposed to do though I don’t know much about relationships.”

She moved my arm over her shoulder still holding my hand “That’s okay I’m happy to teach you!” She had a bright smile.

I couldn’t help but smile too. I asked “Since we’re together can I try something?” I see people in relationships do this all the time and I want to know if it’s as good as it looks.

She nodded waiting for me to continue. I put my free hand on her face slowly leaning in close. Our eyes were locked in a heated stare down and our lips were just inches apart when she closed the distance by kissing me.

It was a brief kiss and a bit awkward but it wasn’t bad, I think it’s something I would like to do again with her.

She kissed my head letting out a giggle “That was nice.”

Yeah it was. I smiled at her “I love you Ryoko.” That’s what a boyfriend is supposed to say right?

She covered her mouth with her hand gasping in shock “You really mean that?!”

I gave a nod “I do.”

Her expression quickly turned back to overjoyed as she hugged me tightly “I love you too! I have to write this down in my notebook I don’t want to forget a thing.”

I hugged her back, feeling happy. I’ve never felt this way with someone before, I’m glad I’m with her.

Made some Ryoukomaeda fankids. The boy is named Jun Komaeda and the girl is named Hanako Komaeda. Jun is the ultimate horse jockey and Hanako is the ultimate technician. (He may not look it but Jun is older by one year lol)
