⛩️Third of new Japanese au series of arts🌊

🌊「アダは瞑想している。 彼女は水のような思考状態になろうとしている。」🌅

“Ada is meditating. She tries to reach the states of ‘mind like water’”

🌊In this au, Ada would be a swordsman, perhaps not a very successful one, but she is still alive and still learning. there is no limit to perfection. "mind like water" is a state of calm, a state of calm water surface that reflects the landscape around, whether it is peaceful time or a battlefield. it is important to keep the surface of the water calm, because splashes and waves will not allow you to see the reflection clearly, the state of calm and concentration is lost

✨The inspiration for this illustration was Katsushika Hokusai's ykio-e “Kirifuri Waterfall”, which is also one of my favourite Japanese prints from the art book of ykio-e✨

I imagine interactions on Ukraine posts are low because it's not really something you can 'like' but I can say that in Australia at least, there's been a lot of talk how we can better support you given the bullshit that's happening with the US. I see Ukraine on our national news (ABC) app daily, and it's always supportive and never Russian propaganda. There's other less reputable news sources that do that of course, but public opinion is very much on your side. Lately I've been seeing that we're going to be sending you more weapons and equipment, which means both sides of parliament agreed. I don't know anyone who isn't horrified by the breadth of the evil you're facing. The mood was quite celebratory, the first time you shot missiles back into Russia and hit military targets.

Regarding likes on posts about Ukraine I would say that I personally perceive them not as "I like what russia is doing to you" but as "I see you and support you". Yeah, it's a bit stupid to judge the level of support by likes and engagement but truth is that it's the most easily visible thing. When I see some non-ukrainian person liking either the posts I share or my own rumblings it brings me a bit of mental peace and reminds me that there are ones who listen and care deeply.

today it's palm sunday in ukraine and russians killed 21 ukrainians in the city centre of sumy with a double ballistic missile strike (second missile arrived as people rushed to help), and russians are celebrating with the photos of pigs and smiles and all the usual things they do. yesterday ukrainians were outraged by the words of a russian anti-putin liberal kara-murza in the french senate who said that for russians it is psychologically hard to kill ukrainians because we are one people which is why russia employs buryats to kill us. those monstrous 600 thousand buryats 100 million russians should cry and beg to kill us

The first thing that surprised me in kendo was the kiai - the shouting during an attack. it helps you focus on your own movements and strategy, intimidate your opponent during a fight. And it had a great influence on my life, namely the philosophy of this phenomenon, where you seem to command yourself with your shout

Yesterday I drew a picture of per'kele and rher which I will post today. And in the early morning the massive shelling started which hasn't happened for a long time. Sometimes you can be physically and mentally exhausted enough to continue sleeping when there are explosions nearby. If I do die from ballistics I hope I will die in my sleep without having any idea what is happening.
