Change is Possible

Throughout your stay here, you will come to know me and my struggles with dishonesty, anger, and trust. I am here to tell you that is is possible to change yourself. It’s a tough problem to solve, but if I can do it, you sure as heck can too. 

Thank you in advance for reading this. I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Adam Robbins. I am of humble birth and I am married to the most compassionate and wonderful woman in the world. Without her, I would surely be dead. I know that sounds over-dramatic, but it is very true in this regard.

You see, I suffer from a disease known as cardiomyopathy, which, in other words, means my heart doesn’t beat the way it’s supposed to. And I had an episode where I nearly passed out because my blood pressure had fallen to terrifyingly low numbers. And mind you, this was only a couple weeks after we had met for the first time. She proceeded to call the ambulance and got me to the hospital where she stayed with me for 4 days. 

I cannot thank her enough for everything she’s done for me. And I don’t say it enough.

She saved my life. 

And then agreed to save my life for the rest of eternity. I haven’t been the best husband, by no means. I have an anger problem and I feel the need to lie whenever things don’t go my way. But I know if we trust in ourselves and believe, we can change everything.

And that’s why I’m here. Firstly, to hold myself accountable for when things are low. Secondly, I’m here for you. To show you, the reader, that it is possible. 

Be strong with me. We can do this!
