So! Two weeks ago I saw a video about something called Claymoo, which are packs of foam clay in different colours with instructions to show you how to make specific things. Usually tasty looking food. I immediately went to order some because it looked really cute... Buut they don't ship to my country... So instead I ordered some cheap foam clay and set about trying to make the kits for myself from the pictures and videos I could find. I also wanted to make them smaller because I don't have a lot of space and didn't fancy trying to find somewhere to put a bunch of the normal sized ones. The foam clay arrived about a week ago and I set about trying to make what I wanted. I've been making one per day aside from today when I made three. I imagine the actual kits are far better than the cheap stuff I was able to find. Since the sizes are so small it starts to break up when I roll it too thin, it was also trying to break up with the swiss roll a lot. Mixing my own colours is a bit tricky too, I gave up on the nice ochre green that they use for their matcha. I also seem to be making things smaller and smaller... Anyway, its been quite fun to try out, I might try and figure out my own things to make, though with how squishy it is I don't imagine it would be great for sculpting something like a face.

Yes I was too lazy to transfer the actual file to this computer and so just took a photo with my phone instead :P Its a small relief to know that my skill is still a little better with digital art than it is with traditional art. But it was a bit disheartening to discover I've almost forgotten completely how to draw shirtless male torsos. I used to be so good at them! (good by my standards anyway) Ugh. Anyway, this is the companion to the female miqote I've drawn a couple times. This is the same one with the hair I can't decide on who I tried to draw previously. So much indecision... I'll textdump some ideas here sometime.

On the Eve of Execution
Trigger Warning: Sexual assault mentioned. A modern woman wakes up in the body of a villainess about to be executed for her crimes. Prior to being possessed, the villainess had been languishing in her cell (possibly head shaved?) in a terrible state, listless and ready for death. Upon possession, the new MC occupant does not feel the same way, and definitely does not want to die. In desperation she ends up killing the very unprepared guard when he comes in to check on her (possibly sexually assault her?). She then grabs what she can that would be of use and flees, taking anything she can along her escape route to help dress and disguise herself. She ends up with a hooded cloak, any clothes she could find and repurpose to fit (tunic, pants, and a second cloak used like a skirt all held around her waist with a belt), and coins that she pilfered along the way. It's night and raining (she scrubs her face a little cleaner in the rain), she manages to avoid guards, possibly creating a diversion with a fire somewhere to distract them from the gate out. Then she heads for the first noisy and lit building she sees which she assumes is a tavern of sorts and asks (maybe someone on their way out?) where she can find a form of transport out of the city. She is pointed towards a place that has carriages. By the time she gets there dawn is breaking over the horizon and she rushes up to the first carriage she sees with an occupant, asking if they need any workers/servants. She says she can learn quickly and take on any servants chores if he can take her wherever he's going. The man looks at her in shock as she gets nervous and keeps talking. Eventually he silences her with a rasied hand and asks her to come into the carriage (out of the rain). She takes this as a good sign and hesitantly steps inside (asking if she can sit?). He questions her extensively about why she wants to work, then agrees and signals to his driver that they will leave. She rides up front with the driver. Unknown to her, she has just agreed to work for her husband. The person who the body she's possessing has probably wronged the most. He had been about to head to a secluded and very small estate/house to get away from everything (including his wifes execution) and have some time to recover. Hence he was shocked to see her not imprisoned or executed, in such a poor state (emaciated, filthy, in obviously stolen or borrowed clothes etc), and most importantly failing to recognize him at all. He agrees to take her on because he's curious how long she'll keep the act up and considers it his responsibility to keep an eye on her and catch her once she does reveal her true nature, so he can bring her back to face justice. It doesn't feel right to do that to her right now when she's desperately pleading for him to take her away and suggesting she do things like physical labour which she would never have considered before. And it seems strange to plan for him to not just turn her over to authorities. So he's willing to see how it plays out. (They go to remote cabin and he contacts someone (old nanny?) who was an old trusted servant of his (who maybe knew his wife before) to teach her what to do as a servant. The teacher and him are able to see no signs of her previous personality and he starts to fall for her.

Land of the Dead
Set after some sort of zombie disaster where the kingdom was overrun and destroyed. Said kingdom was isolated and closed off from all its neighbouring kingdoms to stop the outbreak spreading. A holy person enters the kingdom under the service of a neighbouring one and is able to begin reviving and restoring life to the zombies. Their goal is to try and find any natural survivors while those they revived work to rebuild and repair everything. Secretly, the zombies are not actually revived. They have their souls but are just being used to restore the kingdom so that any natural survivors that are found can repopulate the area. Then the zombies will be deactivated and will die permanently.

The Runaway Saviour
MC appears in the middle of a street fully in her original body and clothes. She is confused and bewildered but asks a passerby to try and figure out where she is and what is going on. This leads her to find out that she appears to be in a foreign place of some sort and since she has no idea how she got there and a lot of what she says isn’t understood by others (such as mentioning internet or phones) she asks if there is anywhere nearby looking for someone like her who could work. She gets a job as a maid/kitchen hand in a noble house and starts planning based on how much she gets and how much getting her own house etc would cost. She figures she needs to earn more and so decides to dress as a boy and go to offer sketches/drawings/art for sale around a local market when she has spare time to earn extra cash (dressing as a boy because it would sell for more, as a womans would be less valued). One day when going somewhere as a maid she saw a strikingly handsome man with long pale hair and a cloak on with the hood pulled up to hide his identity. She stopped and stared for a moment before quickly averting her gaze and bustling past (to a nearby alley to sketch what she recalled as soon as possible). He had an odd feeling but just saw a normal servant girl going past and so passed it off as nothing. It turns out said man is basically the MCs ideal man. He’s a handsome, intelligent man who is a great mind behind a lot of the countrys war efforts and so is considered a hero. There is some prophecy or something which made them know that someone from another world was going to appear in their world. They assumed it would be a man, and with great and powerful knowledge to share with them. So he’s looking for anyone unusual who has appeared recently. He knows roughly when they should have arrived, so narrows it down to anyone around that time, again focusing on men. Then he has to broaden to women and his underlings follow up on many leads. One of which is the MC, but she says that she met the ‘stranger’ who wanted to swap clothes with her so she agreed to as she thought perhaps they would be worth something and gave her directions. This explains why she has the clothes. She doesn’t admit that she is the stranger because she’s suspicious of peoples motives for wanting to find her. She just wants to live her life away from any plot important characters (as she figures she’s in a novel of some sort) and enjoy her second life.

An Unexpected Fall
MC falls from the sky onto the ML in her full original body and clothes. The ML is cranky, but his father who is with them offers to take her in as she’s obviously very confused and has no idea where she is and says strange things etc. The father has a hunch that there’s something different about her and so thinks it would be wise to employ her as a servant to be able to watch and see. However because she has been shown this favouritism, and the servants somewhat resent having to show someone of her age how to do everything, and even the basics of etiquette, they dislike her and she ends up isolated. They event try to frame her for stealing something while the father is away, knowing that the son/ML doesn’t view her as positively. She is able to use sound logic to defend herself and challenges them to look through all her stuff, even dumping a small suitcase full of papers she’d been writing on onto his desk and saying its her journal that documents everything, if you really want to know, read it (Or might be to compare handwriting?). Turns out she had the papers from pulling out scrunched up pieces from the rubbish and cutting off the unused bits to reuse for herself (maybe she was accused of being a spy? So the searching/here you go is to prove that she isn’t and that its all just her personal writing). Either way once her innocence is proven its obvious that this has created an even more uncomfortable environment for her since she can’t trust anyone there, so the ML offers to tell her about a job he knows of that may suit her. Its at an elderly relatives place who only has his wife and no servants. With her skills at reading and writing she could help him with a variety of things along with everyday care and looking after the garden. She goes for an interview, and the relative and she agree about the arrangement so she works there comfortably and happily. One day some sort of conflict happens, maybe the kingdom gets taken over? The relative passes away and the ML ends up having to flee there to hide out and avoid being killed. He has to disguise himself as a fellow worker maybe? Where they can actually interact and get to know each other.

Trigger warning: Suicide MC suicided in modern life. Woke up as a noble lady/daughter in another world but was honest about having no memory of who the body previously was (she has memories of her previous life in modern day but keeps quiet about that). She has to be taught everything from scratch, though questions and is somewhat resistant to some things and honest about what she can’t do/is bad at. This makes her a less than ideal bride to be married off.

The Hunted
A small female toddler is taken with her parents to a marketplace in a cave where various vendors are selling their goods. They let her sit on an empty section of the table while they speak with the seller about the goods available, quality etc. While they’re not paying attention the girl managed to shuffle along a little and grab hold of a yellow gem which she holds up to her eye to peer through. The gem suddenly latches onto her face/eye causing her to cry out in surprise and both the merchant and her parents to panic in shock as they try to get the gem off. Then screams can be heard from outside and chaos erupts as bloodied people flee into the cave with their pursuers not far behind. While the parents are distracted the merchant takes the opportunity to hold a cloth doused with a numbing agent against the girls mouth and then he spirits the little girl away to a crack near the back of the cave behind a large rock, then he turns to gather more of his belongings and flee but gets slaughtered along with the girls parents and merchants. The little girl laying in the crack in the rock can’t move at all but can see through a gap in the rock as her parents and the other people are all killed in front of her. The assailants don’t leave any survivors and search through all the goods apparently looking for something before leaving having not found what they sought. Sometime later the numbing agent wears off and either the girl is able to push the rock out of the opening to free herself, or when a wandering tribe come to investigate the cavern they find her and bring her with them. By this time the jewel has fully merged with her eye, so she now has one bright yellow eye, and one (blue? green?) eye. She lives with the tribe who find her until she dies in an accident…. Except she doesn’t die. She wakes up later having been left for dead where she lay. She manages to get to a nearby settlement where she hears of her death and decides to start a new life. After sometime she starts to suspect she may not be aging. Then another accident happens and she dies again. And wakes up again, buried alive etc. This time when she moves on and travels elsewhere she decides to start wearing an eye patch to hide her very distinctive eye (as it caused at least one run-in with someone who thought she was dead and turned pale fleeing in terror). Thus she starts the cycle of living somewhere for a set amount of time, and leaving either when she dies in some manner or the time is up so others don’t catch on to her lack of aging. Death is usually the easiest excuse for moving on as she can ‘fake’ it so convincingly. Over the years a few times she thought she caught a glimpse of a very distinctive man with long dark hair who appeared to be searching for someone. She didn’t think anything of it, until one day she ended up in close proximity to said man and her instincts screamed at her to flee. She listened and fled. Over many more years she has become increasingly convinced that said man is hunting her so she starts putting more effort into reinventing herself each time she starts anew, changing her hair cut, colour, how she acts and talks, and even eventually finding a magical illusion that is able to disguise her eye to make it look like her other one. (He is a dragon and it is his eye/essence that she accidentally consumed. Maybe he starts disguising himself too and she meets him again and again without realizing it?)

Those Left Behind
Trigger warning: Suicide
MCs friend attempted suicide. The MC sits at her bedside in hospital, her friends favourite book has been left nearby, so the MC starts reading it. She falls asleep and wakes up in a strange world… the world of the book. Recalling that her friend read it too, she starts wondering/hoping that her friend is there too. She asks about someone suddenly acting strange like she is and begins the long task of trying to track them down. When she does finally find her friend the friend is very happy where she is now (has a love interest and everything), and very much doesn’t want to go back. She says she thought the MC would understand as the MC herself has made a suicide attempt in the past and had mentioned how miserable she was and that she was only living to see what happens next. The MC said yes it's true she had tried in the past, and over something as stupid as a boy of all things. But there is a lot more than her own feelings to think about with such a thing, there are all the family and friends that would get left behind. And rather than just giving up on her life she decided that if fate won’t give her the peaceful life she wants then she’ll make it for herself. She doesn’t want to abandon what could be her only chance at life. How do they know that if they die in the real world they won’t die here too, afterall her friend is currently in a hospital bed… After/during a heated conversation between the two, the MC feels a chest pain and the sound of her own heartbeat loud in her own ears (visually show the machine line of a heart monitor), she raises her hand to her chest and it happens again, more intense this time as all the sounds around her become muffled. She thinks she sees her friends feet running towards her as she blacks out. She wakes up back in the real world in a hospital bed. Her family are around her/at her side and are shocked and delighted to see her wake. She greets them and listens as they fill her in on what happened to her. Then she feels a wave of tiredness overcoming her. She tells them to never turn off the life support and to please keep her alive before she falls asleep, once more returning to the novel world. Her family didn’t tell her that her friend had passed away as they didn’t want to upset her.

Repeated Reincarnation
MC dies in the modern age and wakes up being born in a fantasy land/tale. She remembers her previous life fully and grows up with a male childhood friend who she suspects must be the male lead of some novel she has ended up in that she doesn’t remember the plot for. During their childhood although she doesn’t share her past life or anything about it, she does freely share her different ideas about how people and society should be with him. (At one point she also asks him what he thinks about people reincarnating/being reborn in another persons body, the accepted fate of those that die is a normal afterlife deal so her suggesting something else is new to him). They grow close but she dies. And wakes up in a new body. This happens many times, over and over, every time she wakes up in a new body which has just had what would effectively be a fatal experience but for some reason instead her soul ended up in it and the body itself was given another chance. In this way she gets to live many lives of varying lengths. Unknown to her, her childhood friend is actually either of a special race, bloodline, or is talented enough to figure out a way to have a prolonged life. And what she said about being reborn stuck with him so as an adult he had tried to find her soul… Only to find it not where it should be as others from the world would be when they died. He then sets out to find her wherever or however she has been reborn through trial and error. When she died while they were children he found journals of writing she’d used to document her memories from her original time so she wouldn’t forget them. (song love you for 1000 years)

Become What You Must
Pop up in P&P-style world in former-MCs house (ala Lost in Austen), former-MC is very obliging and makes up a story to allow new-MC to stay with them. New-MC does her best to not stir things up or attract attention - tries to dress as modestly as possible, speak as little to males, not dance etc. She immediately starts contemplating ways to earn a living of her own to enable her to actually support herself (and pay back former-MCs family for whatever it cost them to allow her to stay). She decides to try creating art with the tools at hand and see if she can sell them, saying her sickly brother did them and she is selling them on his behalf to try and gain some money for better art supplies (perhaps idea triggered by looking at photos on her phone and deciding to draw them before her phone loses its charge/battery and such images are lost for good in a world without such things). She also gets the former-MC to come dressed as and pose as her sickly brother on some occasions to help with the deception (they apply makeup to her face, give her something that makes her voice sound rough and croaky etc). New-MC herself uses a cane constantly and only sits to the side during any dances and gatherings they’re invited to, she has a book with a concealed small pencil and perhaps watercolor paints? That she uses to make rough thumbnails of the events so she can later draw proper versions to then fill in and sell. The cane is to hold up the excuse that she is unable to dance because of a bad leg or something. Once New-MC is finally able to, with the help of Former-MC disguising herself as the sickly brother occasionally, buy her own place to live (starting with renting a small flat and eventually an actual small house with two floors) she establishes the lie that her sickly brother lives on the second floor which is closed to servants and only she can enter. She hires one or two servants simply because it is the common thing to do and they are restricted to the outside and downstairs. Upstairs actually has a number of hidden rooms for her to relax and create modern-day settings for her to relax and create art in. She has a setup with a mannequin, bed, and convincing triggers to use in case anyone desires to see her sickly brother. The fact that he is supposedly so sickly and may stop creating art at any time helps a lot with making his art more sought after. When New-MC first turned up she asked the age of Former-MCs sisters to establish what time she had arrived in relevant to the books plot, and estimated it to be 3 or so years before the actual plot starts. (Note: look up P&P time setting, victorian? Etc, whether they have watercolour paints etc available at that time) (much bigger further plans for this is all a future high tech illusion aka matrix type setting to help people go through multiple lives to find their true life partners. This MC was raised from fragments of her DNA found in her coffin that allowed them to recreate her and insert her into the matrix (further story but there is a glitch that allows her to remember past lives so she goes through several and maybe meets one ML especially who is very long-lived (also potentially when at the end she can then live a happy life but she asks what if they don’t want to. And there is a place for those who don’t want to, that they can go to actually be free)))) (Pride and Prejudice type setting/main story)

Cursed Kingdom
Born to a queen in a kingdom where royal titles are earned, not inherited, the MC has been treated fairly normally by those around her as she grew up, not as some sort of special princess. The amber heartstone has long been revered as a founding piece and heart of their kingdom. But it was from this heart that their downfall began. It started small, mood swings and general unpredictability from the queen. Nothing to be concerned over as these were things anyone could feel overcome by at times. But as time passed these symtoms increased and spread. More people began behaving erratically and irrationally, squabbles and conflicts over minor issues became more common. And through this all the MC hid, preferring to make herself unseen over confrontations, she increasingly fled to the outskirts of their kingdom to spend time on her own with the wildlife. So when the time came for things to boil over the MC wasn’t present, she heard a great cracking echo through the sky as she looked up and saw a tempest of great magic brewing above the kingdoms heart. At first she tried to go towards it, concerned for those she cared about. But as the air grew thick an ominous feeling pressed down on her, she knew that only death lay in that direction for her. Instead with great urgency she gathered her two small winged feline companions and fled as fast as she could away from the eye of the calamity. As it was, she only barely made it out, and she was the only one. A mass of writhing, thick and thorny vines devoured the kingdom buildings and all, it spread across the land, overtaking the MC and only stopping when it approached the borders of their once sacred land. The small shard of the amber heartstone that the MC had always worn around her neck burned with the same foulness that the brambles and her kingdom now did, weighing her down and seeking to drag her back into its cursed embrace. So she tore the necklace off, leaving the weight behind as she scrambled through the openings still left in the brambles until she reached freedom on the other side. When she turned back the kingdom was no more. Just a thorny overgrown mass where it once stood and no hint of the vibrancy and beauty it once held. So she turned from the life she once had, later learning that not one fellow soul had even made it out. Those who were seen near the border had been so enraptured by the kingdoms curse that they refused to budge or leave even as the brambles overcame them. Additional: Queen is a role that always wears a mask/identity is hidden so few if any know who she really is, even her own family (mask like sun, round, flaming hair, lady of pain-esque?)

Lesser is Better
Demon, lesser descendant of sloth. She didn’t want to war or fight, just wanted to live in peace. She ended up setting up a small forge in the human world where she imbues weapons with her essence. An angel fallen to earth leading human armies against hell (secretly?) finds out about these very few weapons which it seems can permanently kill demons, not just banish them back to hell to reform. He obviously wants to get more of them, but the supply is extremely limited and hard to get no matter how much gold is offered. So he disguises himself and sets about investigating the source of the weapons. The trail ends up being very convoluted, with many false leads along the way and people paid to be stand-ins who seem like they’re in charge of things when they aren’t. Finally he tracks things down to a seemingly ordinary merchant who goes out into a wasteland/desert and picks up weapons that are left there. After much waiting the angel finally sees a ragged hooded figure carrying the weapons to place there for the merchant. This seems like yet another stand-in or false trail as she returns to a drafty stone house afterwards in the middle of nowhere with no one else. About to backtrack, as this seems like another false lead/dead end, the angel nevertheless decides to scope out the place first. As soon as his foot steps within a certain radius of the place he feels the tingling of a circle to alert someone of intruders. He takes great care to mask his angelic presence and waits for the person to come out and investigate. When they meet he cannot sense anything from the woman as he explains he was sent by the armies to seek out more of these specially imbued/enchanted weapons. She says that they cannot be produced any faster than they are, as she is the one creating them and being a woman on her own it takes time and effort to do so. He offers to stay and help forging the weapons themselves so all she has to do is the enchanting. She doesn’t actually desire wealth or better surroundings etc, but reluctantly agrees. So they set about living together with him helping forge the weapons. She always imbues them in a room with the door shut and warded so he cannot see the process. He secretly lays a protection barrier around the whole place to keep anyone else away, especially demons, and keep either of them from being detected. One day something happens? Perhaps she’s getting more exhausted the more weapons she imbues, and he finally sees her doing so where she changes into her actual demonic form to imbue the weapons, but falls unconscious afterwards due to the fact that she is using her own essence to do so. He is very conflicted but as the weapons are very important and useful and she has cooperated with him fully with no ill will he gently picks her up and takes her to her bed to rest. It turns out she is able to do what she does solely because she doesn’t feel a strong attachment to either side of the conflict. She cares about neither and simply wants to be left in peace. The weapons are merely a way for her to support herself and stay hidden. Her position is unique, so she is the only one who can create these conflict ending weapons (but they take her life force to do?) (Diablo 4 - Inarius D3 vers)

Self Imprisonment
Wakes up in the body of the villainess of a story she's read, newly married to a husband who hates her. After the first accusation of wrongdoing that she didn't do, she confesses fully to the crime and asks for a moment alone with the Lord of the house (her father in law) to discuss her punishment.
When alone with him she requests that her punishment be that she gets locked in her room with no maids and a guard at the door to monitor and restrict anything going in or out of the room. She can request items and the requests have to go through her husband. Others are not allowed to give her anything extra, no one is allowed to visit. She must spend a year in confinement to repent for her crimes. This seems like overkill to others, but she insists and eventually it is agreed to. Once she is set up in her room comfortably with a new door fitting to allow larger items such as laundry or water to be passed back and forth through a smaller door set in it, she is finally able to relax.
For her, being stuck in a room by herself, being able to tend to any of her own needs, and having simple meals delivered to her is very peaceful. The room even has a small half circle balcony for her to use is she wants.
Soon after she is set up her husband visits her, at the behest of the female lead that he has a crush on, who the MC suspects might be behind her issues. She refuses to let him enter or give her anything that his crush told him to try and give her, as her punishment specifies she cannot be given gifts.
Maybe at the crushes behest he'd pushed for being able to visit the MC daily, as the crush had hoped to be able to slip in gifts etc to her.
When he does enter without the gift, the MC largely ignores him while continuing with whatever she is working on. After a few days she cuts her hair short and he wonders if she's already going stir-crazy in there. But she says that she did it for comfort and because its easier to maintain and wash. Several days after that he notices she has started pulling apart and cutting up some of her previously gaudy dresses. He is almost certain she must have lost the plot now.
Then days after that she is dressed in clothing that appear completely foreign to him, and are of her own making (she'd requested a sewing kit be one of the inclusions in the room). She deconstructed the dresses to recreate a more comfortable outfit for herself since as she's stuck in a room with no one else around, like her hair it doesn't matter what she wears.
After time with such regular visits he starts to get used to her eccentricities. He stays for about an hour each day and she engages in idle chatter with him as she bussies herself reading or working on various crafts and things.
She keeps a regular schedule for herself to help keep her health up, things like engaging in stretches and exercise at the same time each day, regular sleep time etc. She'd specified a year because she knows after a year the big events of the novel will be over with so she will be able to negotiate a divorce with her husband if she can manage to make it that far alive.
She also plans to leak information to her husbands family in exchange for a favourable divorce once things are over. That way she should hopefully end up set up with a comfortable small house to while away the rest of her days in.

Escaping Married Life
MC wakes up, bloodied, in a room full of occult paraphernalia. She doesn’t know where she is, but manages to find a way out only to find the door vanishes behind her.
Bewildered, she wanders down a corridor until she runs into a maid. To her horror the maid calls her the name of a villainess in a novel she read. Suddenly the setting, her outfit, it all starts to make sense. Overwhelmed, she asks politely to be taken to her room.
The maid is also shocked, that her mistress is bloody, and that she is being so polite about it.
Once they reach her room she asks for the maid to please return in about an hour as she wants to rest.
In reality she wants to see if she can find anything in the room that may help her, and then hopefully question the maid about anything and everything.
When left alone she uses a handkerchief and water from a flower vase to clean the blood off her face (mouth and nose) and carefully examines her appearance in a mirror. There is a knock at the door and she asks who it is without turning. The door opens and the man behind it claims “Your husband.”
She freezes, then tries to brush him off saying she doesn’t have anything to discuss with him. He notices the bloodied handkerchief in her hand but says nothing about it, there is silence for a while before he turns and finally leaves. She sighs in relief.
Now she thoroughly searches the room, and makes obscure and somewhat coded notes in the diary she finds of every single thing she can remember from the novel she read. She also begins to plan. Once the maid returns, she peppers her with a barrage of questions
(Honey can we get a divorce)

Cursed Slave
Isekai’d into being born anew as a slave in a fantasy world. Over time she discovers several things. She doesn’t age She can’t die, she will survive mortal wounds, heal from them rapidly, or things like limb removal will fail and be unable to cut through. Her owners, usually those who have tried to kill her, end up themselves dying from accidents. Because of these, she has been around a long time, and had a LOT of previous owners. She tends to cycle through them fast enough that her lack of aging isn’t noticed. Old records of her masters that are past 100 years mysteriously end up destroyed in some way, rodents eating them, accidental fires, ink spills etc. Her body, mostly her back, is covered in all manner of scars and brands. Her face heals fastest from wounds/scars. The brands go back over the many hundreds of years that she has lived, so some are old and no longer in use. Her current manner is very blunt and straightforward. She will not put up with idle threats and challenges anyone who tries to threaten her to go ahead and do it. Because she knows it won’t kill her, pain is nothing to her now, and she’ll just end up passed onto another master soon enough. She is extremely world-weary and long-suffering. Possibly her ML is also cursed, but to have every wife of his/anyone he tries to marry die. Perhaps in trying to research her they remember records of him and wonder if she’s somehow related to him as a descendant. At the start the kingdom she was in was just overtaken in war and she was taken to the conquering country (as a spoil of war?). Where she exists fine until she is sent to help with something and threatened to do the task. She then fearlessly speaks up and even bares her back awaiting punishment as if they are going to be stupid enough to threaten someone sent to help them then she’ll not waste her time and they may as well just try to kill her. Upon seeing her scars they decide to investigate further. She is later examined by a doctor/physician who details all the various scars and brands from long dead empires on her skin. Trying to follow the paper trail of her former masters after 100 years they start to run into constant dead-ends, but can see enough to realize that it is very likely the same person described in the semi-destroyed records. (Roughly - Beatrice)
