Moving, I think, was a big step towards getting both my life and my mind back on track. It’s going to be a long, upsetting, painful and lonely process but it needs to be done because I can’t keep looking to the past in hopes of a future that will work for me. Either I can go on believing that my best days were in college, with one uninterested girl and a mediocre social life, or I can stand up and make something out of the years I have left.

Thank you all who stick with me and fuck you all who made me this way.

This has very quickly become my new favourite anime. I’ve never been into anything with romantic aspects unless they’re fleeting and unimportant but this has struck several sweet and well harmonised chords. I’m only halfway through and really excited to get back to it.

This was my favourite movie as a child. I watched my VCR copy relentlessly until it disappeared. If you haven’t seen it, see it. If this video doesn’t convince you, then it stars Jeff Bridges and Christopher Lee...not so girly now, is it?

There's so much on the internet about the debate between preference to boobs and butts. Quite frankly I don't give a damn! As long as she has stamina and looks good/confident with or without makeup, she's a winner. Though if I had to choose, boobs would win every time.

I look forward to getting my own place. Not even because of mess or space in this house, I just don't like having walls which are apparently 100% sound-perforating. Right now the female of the house has a friend over (who she wanted me to move in with after this current contract runs out) who is currently singing very kuffing loudly!  Trying to watch a very serious LittleKuriboh video and all I can hear is, "LAAAAAAAAAAAH!"...no exaggerations. 

Might blast some metal out, see what happens.

I found this little gem while digging around the internet. It’s a peaceful little site where you can go if feeling a little down. You can ask for peoples’ advise or just have them listen. I enjoy this site because it gives me a chance to brighten up someone’s day, one little comment at a time. Give it a go if you’re feeling blue or are in the mood to help.

I'm not going to deny it, this video made me cry. I've been a huge fan of LittleKuriboh's work for years now, following his Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged series and the aptly named 'Naruto The Abridged Comedy Fandub Spoof Series Show' and laughing hysterically at all of it. A couple of weeks ago when I watched the first installment of this 'We're Still Here' series, it broke my heart to find out that LK was hit with severe depression 6 months ago. I had noticed that his videos were noticeably more spaced apart and the content seemed a little drier but I figured there was a reason. Depression is nothing to be ashamed of or even afraid of. Something Martin said in this video resonated in me that went a little something like, "I realised that this depression is a part of me, but that means it is no stronger than me." I don't really feel the need to express how powerful this is.

Another point he mentioned was that people who have depression have a habit of driving others away because they don't want to be a burden. PLEASE never think of yourself as a burden, or if it's someone you know that has this terrible illness, let them know that they are not a burden and they aren't dragging anyone down. The most important thing for someone with depression is knowing that help can be found in the darkest of places and it WILL get better.
