I can't recall if I posted this one here, but I do really love this piece. This is a 15 year redraw from a piece I did way back when I was graduating from college (I am not sure if I want to think about the fact that it's been 15 years since I was in college, or 20 since high school). It was as I was settling into burnout, but this piece has made me so happy as it did exactly what I needed it to: It showed me how much I have managed to grow in 15 years, not only in skill in drawing the character, but my color choices, posing, rendering, background, EVERYTHING.

If nothing else, let this be a show of force that if you put in the time, you CAN improve, and exponentially so! Let's do this!

One of my characters from my comic, Niamh. I love her so much, I cannot wait for everyone to finally meet her and love her like I do! It'll be a while, though, as I'm still finishing the prequel about the gods....

I love sibling dynamics, especially when they are like me and my siblings as kids. We whooped each other's butts on a regular basis. WWE was the bible in terms of how we interacted, and I love drawing siblings fighting. This piece still tickles my funny bone, even a year later, haha!

My darling little MC, An! I really need to draw him more now that I'm prepping the first chapter of this comic (I'm about halfway done with the prequel about the gods). I love him so much, it's too bad he's not my favorite of my story, haha!

One of my DnD characters, Bernie! I do love him so, my grumpus old man. He's a retired military commander, and has spent his later years trying to manage his pain and avoiding other beings... that doesn't exactly pan out for him, haha!

Another sketch, this time of my Sea Goddess, Darya! I really do like how this turned out, I did a lot of experimenting with it, especially when it came to the water and the highlighting. I could have worked on it another six hours but I decided that I needed to call it. A study is a study- I want to get more finished work done this year!

First thing I finished this year! This was supposed to just be a 1.5 hour sketch, but I totally got absorbed in it so it's more like 3 hours worth of work, haha! I do love how it turned out, though!

Hot damn I sure do think I'm funny! I have this as a sticker and made a shirt of it for myself that I absolutely do wear in public because I have NO shame. Who doesn't want a nudie Chamberlain posing on their tiddies?

I am incredibly sad about HOW MUCH glazing was needed on this piece to protect it from the AI scumlords.... you can't see even a third of the detail work I put into the leather, the collar, her scars... but anyway this is one of my TAVs from BG3, her name is Carletta and she's a fighter class. I had her romance Gale and the brains and brawn dynamic made my little heart happy. I love her so, I need to draw her more!

My biggest obession from Badulr's Gate, my darling Halsin. Legit he is the reason I have 1000 hours in this damn game, haha! I wish he was easier to draw, but I'll finish a piece of him eventually!

More of my work doodles! Honestly I am really proud of how these pen sketches turned out, I think I learned quite a lot about making good pen drawings by practicing like this, I would highly recommend it!

So when I started at the job I currently work at, there was significantly less for me to do, so I had time to do pen sketches. I usually finished about 1 a week, and these are some of the referenced drawings I did! I am definitely far too busy to keep this up now, but I enjoyed this time while I had it!

Here are the last four of these that I have finished! Honestly Huntress and Plague I think are the best of this set, but damn if Legion as hamsters doesn't crack me up!
