idk if you write for chaeyoung but something with nd!little chaeyoung :(
omg absolutely i love little nd!chae! gigi and i have quite a few ideas for little chaeng, but i’m going to go over the basics w a lil drabble!
also i apologize for vanishing for a while. i was working through the summer, and i work in construction so i’d work ridiculous hours and come home exhausted so i just never could write and have spent the past few months dealing w personal struggles but am now mostly in the right headspace for this! btw asks are open and i love giving my person hcs and writing small drabbles, i don’t think i’ll be able to write a full story part for a while though :( i have some stuff coming up that will be keeping me busy :)
to the rest of the members, sometimes when chaengie is little, she can be a little overstimulating. she seeks attention in anyway she can get. whether that be dropping her (freshly filled) cup of juice on the carpet, following her unnies around and asking so many questions about everything, to swatting stuff out of the members’ hands just so they have to look at her for a bit.
all except for momo. instead of doing destructive things to seek momo’s attention, chaengie was sweet, seeing momo sitting on the couch alone was an open invitation for chaengie to sit next to her and ask momo about everything, and maybe if chaengie can convince momo to do so, they share food that either momo or one of the other members had made.
on good days, where chaengie’s neurodivergence doesn’t affect her as much, she sits happily with momo and one or two of the others, usually mina and dahyun, though hyun tends to be off in her own world. but momo listens to chaeyoung as she lays on her tummy, drawing in her sketchbook that she had been given as a gift for her small time a while ago, babbling to herself about how she should draw that and how it would look like her and her unnies when she was done, momo was always the first one to be shown what chaengie was drawing, holding her sketchbook up w a big toothy smile and a “wha’ think momo unnie??”
momo always smiles, takes a moment to look at the details, smiling when she noticed details about herself or the others, always gave chae a hug and told her it was so pretty and they had to go show the other unnies. chaeng would smile, her free hand flapping at her side and her little feet stomping on the floor in her joy, and practically drag momo out of whatever cozy position she was in to go show her unnies.
on bad days, however, where chaeyoung just has so much energy that she can’t get out, she gets overstimulating to a lot of the members. she vocally stims, making noises that affect the more noise sensitive members (mostly tzuyu, but sometimes hyunnie as well) or playing with three separate types of toys at the same time. playing with blocks, stuffies and somehow also drawing was a common sight for the twice members, and sometimes, she’s loud. it’s not that she means to be, she always promises she does her best, but she can’t seem to notice how loud she can be when she’s too full of energy.
but once she’s finally tuckered herself out, she can always be found by momo as long as momo is at the dorm, where she tends to be when chae is small, knowing the others struggle to care for a little one w adhd like chaeng has. tzuyu might be mostly nonverbal and sana is convinced tzu is on the autism spectrum, and jeongyeon, in the occasion she regresses tending to have ocd tendencies, like they only come out when she’s small, chaengie is a different ball park. only momo’s been able to keep up w the energy of small chaengie, happily dancing and playing with her, running up and down the halls only for momo to pick her up when momo loses the race (on purpose, but don’t tell chae) out of pride of the little one winning, for her to shout happily and then want to do it all over again, and sometimes, momo and mina both handle chaeyoung, mina’s calm presence helping chaeng calm down to where she falls asleep, lying on her tummy after a long day of being the resident hyper little one, momo will oick the little up from the floor, lie down with chaeyoung in chae’s bed, and both of them take a nap together.
chaeyoung curls into momo in her sleep, her hands grabbing at momo’s shirt and moving as close as she can be, momo wraps her arms around chae and presses a kiss to her forehead, tells chaeyoung she loves her, despite the little one being asleep, and despite momo trying to stay awake multiple occasions, she takes a nap w her little one, knowing when chaeng wakes up it will either be another chaotic day if she’s small, or a slightly less chaotic day if she’s not in her small headspace.

could you talk more about little!jihyo going out of regression in your forever home au?? like what circumstances does she do that, what is she like when she’s big, etc…i’m curious to know!!
and i loved your recent update, can’t wait for more!!
hihihi!! i’m happy to hear that!! i’m sorry that it’s taking me quite a while to write, i’ve gotten into one heck of a writers block but i’m working through it slowly!!
jihyo, outside of her regression, she used to do it a lot more when she first was classified. she still has those underlying little instincts that she fights to not follow, still is attached to 2yeon, but she’s much more of her adult self. she used to pull herself out when jeongyeon would be called into work (she works as a psychiatrist, but does most of her work from home in the office, and even during video calls for appointments, jihyo was well behaved if she was small and didn’t cause much of a ruckus, other than wanting to be held often, jeongyeon could never tell her no) so that 2yeon wouldn’t worry about her getting into stuff she wasn’t supposed to, that she would be okay on her own, that kind of thing! after a while it got harder for her to keep herself out for long periods of time, like the six hours jeong would be at work, which is why mina was hired, mina was a close friend of jeongyeon’s and had been classified and looking into the process of taking in a little herself, and jeongyeon thought it would be good practice for her to take care of jihyo, though that’s neither here nor there.
now she really just pulls herself out for important doctor’s appointments so that it’s easier to explain and understand medical jargon, and she’s fairly the same though with an expanded vocabulary and quite a bit more independent, sometimes she’ll go out with a friend for some time for lunch or similar and she’ll be big for that, but as soon as she comes home to 2yeon, she’s just their little girl again, she finds it hard to be in her adult headspace around 2yeon. though even in her adult headspace, she relies a lot on 2yeon, asking 2yeon if it’s okay to do something and whatnot. it’s fairly uncommon that a little will be able to pull themselves out of their little headspace like jihyo can though!
she’s a bit more calmed in her adult space, though just like little jihyo, she finds herself absolutely fascinated with so many things just as much as she does as she’s little. she’s more rambly, with the expanded vocabulary, she can just talk for a while and often does, about things she finds interesting, about things she notices, about her caregivers, her friends, she’s just a little chatterbox, more so than she usually is as a small one!
i can’t think of any more specifics at the moment but if there are any ideas or whatnot i’m more than happy to hear them and expand on them if possible! i hope that i can figure out the next part soon for forever home :))

apologies for how long this took, i had a whole bunch of things going on and one helluva writer’s block episode that i’m still recovering from.
there is a cw for swearing (one single word) and negative language but otherwise that’s it i believe :)
the drive to tzu’s old apartment isn’t a very long one, it’s pretty close to where nayeon works. mina pulls up into a guest parking zone, putting the car in park before she looks over to tzuyu in the passenger seat. “do you want me to come up with you?”
tzuyu seems to think for a moment, hands bunching up the fabric of the sweatpants she’d borrowed from jihyo as she thinks. “yes please. but, you don’t have to if you don’t want to, i think it’ll be okay.”
mina nods, reaching a hand out to one of tzuyu’s intertwining their fingers before lifting the hand and pressing a kiss to the back of it. “i’ll come up with you. it might help to have two people collecting your things.”
“i don’t have that much stuff,” tzuyu whispered, her voice small.
mina nodded, and reached to take tzu’s seatbelt off. “are you ready?”
tzuyu nodded, jerkily, clenching her hands repeatedly. mina unbuckled tzu’s seatbelt, guiding it to go back to its resting place before taking her own off, then turning the key to the car to turn it off and taking the key from the ignition. tzuyu opened her door first, mina following shortly after, then letting tzuyu guide her to the entrance of the apartment building, then to the stairs. after about three flights, tzuyu turns down a hallway, knocking on the third door on the right, waiting for the door to be answered.
sure enough, a person no taller than mina opened the door and made a noise of disgust seeing tzuyu. “you here to get your shit now?”
tzuyu nodded, not saying anything in response, reaching for mina’s hand who had stepped to the side, not wanting to be there if tzuyu didn’t want her to be. “awe, how cute. brought yourself an actual adult to help out since you’re nothing but a child.” the person told tzuyu, forcing tzuyu to shove her way in, hitting the shoulder of the other person fairly hard, though not initiating any other contact, not even looking back at them. mina followed with a small nod, immediately off-put by the feeling the apartment contained.
it wasn’t much, a small two bedroom apartment, the living room changed into a makeshift bedroom, and tzuyu’s seemed to be the smaller of the actual bedrooms, and true to her word, tzuyu didn’t have much in there. barely anything was on the walls, a shoddy old dresser, seemingly on its last legs was the only other furniture item in the room, other than the bed tzuyu’d slept on, though it was without a bed frame, just a single mattress on the floor, two pillows and three cheap fleece blankets to cover herself with at nights.
a cardboard box acted as tzu’s nightstand, where a cell phone, still plugged into the charger sat, once tzu spied her phone was okay, she let out a sigh of relief and then grabbed two bags, a duffle bag and a backpack, opening the drawers of the dresser and taking the clothes out of it, putting them in the duffel bag.
“tzuyu?” mina asked, moving to sit next to her on the floor. “how do you want me to help you?”
tzuyu’s hands shook as she hurriedly shoved her belongings haphazardly into the bag, eyes bubbled up with tears. “can…can you get my bedding and the stuff under the box, box please?”
mina nodded, her heart aching for tzuyu. she could see the pain and vulnerability in her eyes, and it made her want to wrap tzuyu up in her arms and protect her from the world. but she knew she couldn't do that. instead, she pushed aside her own emotions and focused on being a steady presence for tzuyu.
"of course," mina replied softly, moving towards the makeshift nightstand. she lifted the box carefully, revealing a few scattered photographs and a worn journal underneath. mina hesitated for a moment before picking up the journal, deciding to leave the photographs undisturbed for now.
tzuyu continued to stuff clothes into the duffel bag, her hands trembling with each movement. mina watched her for a moment before gently placing a hand on tzuyu’s knee. "hey," she said softly, trying to catch tzuyu’s gaze. "you’re doing great, okay? take your time. we don't have to rush."
tzuyu glanced up, tears streaming down her face. She let out a shaky breath and nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "thank you, mina."
mina gave tzuyu’s knee a reassuring squeeze before moving to gather the bedding. as she folded the blankets and sheets, she couldn't help but notice the faded stains on them. she wondered what kind of nights tzuyu had spent on this mattress, wrapped in these worn-out covers. but she knew better than to ask just yet.
once the bedding was neatly folded, mina stood up and crossed the room to where tzuyu was still sorting through her clothes. she crouched down beside her and placed a gentle hand on her back. "do you want me to pack your clothes for you?"
tzuyu’s shoulders slumped, exhaustion taking over her features as she handed the duffel bag to Mina. "thank you," she murmured, her voice barely audible. "i just... i don't know what to do anymore."
mina’s heart ached at Tzuyu's words, feeling a surge of protectiveness towards her. she knew she couldn't fix everything for tzuyu, but she could offer support and be there for her in whatever way she needed.
"you don't have to figure it all out right now," mina said softly, her voice filled with empathy. "just focus on getting through one step at a time. we’ll figure out the rest together."
tzuyu nodded, a glimmer of gratitude shining in her teary eyes. together, they continued packing tzuyu’s belongings, bringing order to the chaotic room. as they worked, mina couldn't help but notice how strong tzuyu was, despite everything she had been through.
once everything was packed, mina zipped up the duffel bag and stood up, offering tzuyu a hand to help her up as well. tzuyu took it gratefully, her grip tight as she rose to her feet. mina could feel the weight of everything that tzuyu had endured, the pain and the struggle, but also the resilience and determination that burned within her.
"we’re almost done," mina said, trying to inject a hint of encouragement into her voice. "just a few more things to take care of."
tzuyu nodded, wiping away the tears that still clung to her cheeks. She glanced around the room one last time, as if bidding farewell to a chapter of her life. then, with newfound resolve, she turned towards mina.
"let’s go," tzuyu said, her voice steadier than before. "i don't want to stay here-stay here any longer."
mina smiled softly, proud of tzuyu’s courage and determination. she could see the fire in tzuyu’s eyes, the spark of a fresh start. together, they walked out of the small, dingy apartment, leaving behind the hardships and pain that had plagued tzuyu for far too long.
As they made their way down the hallway and towards the exit, mina couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over her. she knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter for tzuyu, and she was grateful to be a part of it.
they stepped out into the cool evening air, breathing in deeply as they left the heavy atmosphere of the apartment building behind. the city lights twinkled in the distance, a reminder that there was still beauty in the world beyond their past struggles.
tzuyu turned to mina, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. "where do we go now?" she asked, her voice filled with both uncertainty and excitement. mina motioned towards the car, then dug through her pockets, finding the key to open the doors and unlocking them with the remote, guiding tzuyu to the back of the car to put the backpack and duffel bag away.
once both settled in and got their seatbelts done up, mina turned and looked to tzuyu, lifting a hand to rest against tzuyu’s cheek and turn her face to meet mina’s. tzuyu’s eyes looked anywhere but at mina, but she couldn’t care, “what would you think if i took you to get you some things for staying with me? and maybe a treat by the end of it?”

little!tzuyu who's shy and kind of embarassed to being carried by her mamas because she thinks she's too tall to be carried like a baby so she always settles for holding her mamas' hands but she she always feels sad. cg!jeongmo finds her crying about it and reassure her that no matter how tall she is, she'll always be mama's little baby
hiya anon :) poor tzu is really just an itty bitty baby :((
tall tzu
|| little!tzuyu, cg!jeongyeon, cg!momo ||
Tzuyu's height was always something she was insecure about. Being taller than the rest of the Twice members and most of the female idols wasn't something that was exactly normal. Her unnies made sure to cheer her up when they noticed she wasn't feeling confident about how tall she was, but sometimes it just didn't work.
Recently, Tzuyu had been feeling even more self-conscious when her mamas carried her around. Whenever they carried Chaeyoung or Dahyun around, they fit just fine in their mamas’ arms. Whenever they carried Tzuyu, she was always taller and she still had to look down at her mamas.
"Do you want mama to pick you up, love bug?" Jeongyeon looked at Tzuyu and held her hands up but the little just quietly shook her head and held one of her mama's hands.
"Ready for bed, baby?" Momo chuckled as Tzuyu yawned and gave her mommy a small nod. She went to pick Tzuyu up to carry her to her room, but the little whined and got off the couch by herself, opting to hold her mommy's hand instead.
Over the next few days, Tzuyu's mamas tried to offer to hold her or pick her up, but Tzuyu refused. She would either just hold their hand or walk by herself. It was okay at first and her mamas didn't notice, but after a whole two weeks went by and Tzuyu hadn't let either of her mamas pick her up, they were starting to get a little worried.
Tzuyu really wanted her mamas to hold her and carry her, especially when she was super sleepy before they went to bed, but she was just too tall to be held by her mamas. It was just better for all of them if she only held their hands.
After almost two weeks of not being carried by her mamas, it was starting to take its toll on Tzuyu. Each time she saw one of the other littles being held by her mamas she'd just get really sad and either leave the room or try to distract herself until they were let down.
Currently, Tzuyu was sitting alone on her bed. She was looking through pictures of her mamas and each one was making her sadder. If only she didn't have to be so tall. She'd even taking be a teeny tiny bit shorter than she was right now like Sana.
The more she thought about it, the worse she felt. The worse she felt, the harder it was to keep her tears from flooding over. Soon, she couldn't hold them back anymore. She laid down and laid her face down on her pillow, not wanting anyone to hear her cry.
//
"Tzu, dinner's ready!" Jeongyeon called from the kitchen and stepped out with a dish towel over her shoulder, expecting to see Tzuyu cuddled into Momo's side or on the floor playing with her toys.
"She's not with you?" Momo looked up from her phone and looked around the living room, frowning when Jeongyeon shook her head.
"No. I thought she was with you this whole time. "Did she go to the bathroom or something?"
Momo shook her head and got up from the couch. She grabbed the remote and turned the TV off. "I haven't seen her in at least an hour. If she was in the bathroom that long, then she would have called for one of us."
As soon as they headed towards Tzuyu's bedroom and they didn't hear any noise coming from it, both of Tzuyu's mamas knew that something was wrong. Momo gently knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before she opened the door.
At first, they just thought Tzuyu was asleep, but when they saw her body shaking, they knew she was wide awake.
Jeongyeon gently knelt beside the little's bed and reached out to brush her fingers through her hair. Momo sat down on the edge of her bed and gently rubbed her back. They gave her a few minutes to calm down before asking her any questions.
"What's got you so upset, love bug?" Momo asked Tzuyu gently once she sat up a bit and leaned her head on her mama's shoulder, her eyes red and watery.
"Tzu too tall." Tzuyu mumbled and reached out to play with her mommy's fingers.
"You're not too tall, Tzu." Jeongyeon gave Tzuyu's leg a little squeeze before sitting on her other side. "Why do you think you're too tall?"
"W-whenever mommy or mama carry Tzu, still gotta look down." Tzuyu sniffled and tucked her face into her mommy's shoulder, a few fresh tears slipping down her cheeks.
"That doesn't mean you're too tall, love bug. Just because you're a bit taller doesn't mean you're too tall." Momo placed a gentle kiss to the side of Tzuyu's head and carefully pulled the little's face from her shoulder. She wiped her tears away and smiled, kissing both of her cheeks.
"Even if you're a hundred feet tall or only two inches tall like Chaeyoung, you're still our baby." Jeongyeon smiled at the little laugh Tzuyu let out. She wrapped her in a tight hug and kissed the crown of her head before pulling away. "Can mama carry you to the kitchen now, love bug? We don't want dinner to get cold."
Tzuyu wiped her eyes and nodded. She smiled and wrapped her arms around her mama's neck and let her pick her up. She still felt a little tall, but she loved having her mama holding her again.

hello taveon, dont know if you still take requests while you are still writing on your AU, but can I request a little SMC on the plane to a tour location (you can choose) and regression mid flight and acting like how babys/toddlers would normally act while flying and 3mix having to scold them
i’m so sorry it took me so long to get to this rq i’ve had such awful writers block, it’s not fully as expanded as i would like it to be, but it’s a start of getting out of writer’s block :)
the day had started out completely fine, rounding up everyone was an easy task, even waking everyone was easy. boarding the plane was even easier, somehow, when it usually a draining task, despite how tired everyone had been, the problem only arose once they were in the air for nearly three hours.
tzuyu was the first to slip, and while she wasnt usually the youngest of the regressors, that title was nayeon’s, she definitely wasn’t the oldest, and the person she wanted to care for her, mina, was busy watching a movie, half awake, three seats behind her. this usually wouldn’t be a problem to tzuyu, she’d turn on a cartoon and hope she could relax herself, but for some reason she felt too anxious to do so. of course, the obvious option to do next was to bother the person sitting next to her. it was jeongyeon, who usually has the most patience for the little members, she hadn’t slept well, and in turn was a little bit grumpy.
tzuyu poked at jeongyeon’s side, and once that didn’t get her the attention she wanted, she decided to start rubbing her head against the older woman’s shoulder, whining a little bit. it did get her attention, jeong lifted her arm from her side and wrapped ir around tzuyu’s shoulders, but didn’t take her eyes off of the book she was reading, which, was unacceptable to tzuyu. she was small and she wanted attention now, and jeongyeon needed to provide it or else. tzuyu’s hand lifted slowly from her lap, then grabbed the top of jeongyeon’s book and (gently) pulled it out of jeong’s hand, and once jeongyeon turned incredibly fast to look at tzuyu with confusion and little bit of frustration, tzuyu giggled. she’d gotten the attention she wanted, even if it wasn’t exactly the nicest thing to do.
“tzuyu…” jeongyeon started, her voice was still sleep filled, raspy, even though she’d been awake for a few hours now, and tzuyu’s eyes began watering on instinct. tzuyu didn’t wanted to be scolded, she just wanted attention, but she couldn’t figure out how to say it, words were too hard and now she’d upset her jeongyeon. “i’m not in the mood, tzu, give me my book back.”
tzuyu nodded, a stray tear falling from one of her eyes, tzuyu was tired, upset, and now she felt bad for upsetting her jeongyeon. she handed the book back shyly, making sure she’d kept the page marked with one of her fingers, but now she was even more upset. she was small, jeongyeon didn’t seem to notice, and that upset her more than the idea that she made jeongie mad.
it wasn’t long before she was sobbing, jeongyeon rolled her eyes and marked the page of her book, when she finally got a good look at tzuyu and realized: tzuyu’s been regressed.
on another part of the plane, nayeon was in a similar situation with chae. chaeyoung was always an excitable little, and now is no exception. chae was doing her best to move around as much as possible, thankfully she wasn’t in an aisle seat so she wasn’t walking up and down the aisle like nayeon knew should would be, but that didn’t stop the bouncing, wiggling, and babbling. no matter what nayeon tried, chae was not able to sit still. movies? no. conversations? no. chae just wanted to play, she wanted to run around.
jihyo, instead of being stuck with mischievous toddlers, was instead in charge of dahyun, who, had dropped much younger than she had in a long time. she was sobbing, and jihyo had to work the girl into her side, and dahyun’s little head tucked into the crook of jihyo’s neck, still sobbing. jihyo wasn’t sure how to help dahyunnie, jihyo was usually the one being comforted, so all she could do was shush her, tell her it’ll be okay. but dahyun didn’t seem to calm even slightly.
jihyo hadn’t expected to be taking care of a little, especially not one so young, so she didn’t have anything on hand. other then her keys to the dorm, her apartment, her car and a few other miscellaneous things, which she handed to dahyunnie after a few moments of contemplation, who seemed fascinated at the sound and how her car key flipped open and closed.
needless to say, all three of them had a talking to once they were in their hotel rooms, tzuyu about just expressing what she needed, chaeyoung about finding other ways to let out her energy, and poor dahyunnie about what caused her to be so young, which ended up being the fact that everything seemed overstimulating. from arriving so early at the airport, to the turbulence, to the fact everything was so bright.
a lesson was learned that day for those six, mainly about communicating before it got out of hand, but also about how else to take care of the youngest three when regressed.

n!d twice hc (1/3 najeongmo)
to the anon who requested a nd!twice hc, i have tried my best! if there's anything else you would want to see or something else like this just send a request my way and i'll try my best :)
nd!nayeon
much like sana, nayeon has adhd. unlike sana, she has inattentive adhd so it makes her very distractable and she constantly loses things
the members are always finding her glasses everywhere but her face and jeongyeon eventually buys her those little grippy things so she can wear her glasses around her neck when she's at her and momo's apartment or the dorm
she also takes a little longer to understand things. if she's talking to one of the members they know to be patient if she doesn't respond right away
nayeon also notices super small details; she's always listening and attentive to the girls even if she doesn't realize it
she is attached to her calendar. if someone makes plans with her verbally but doesn't text her or put it in her calendar, she will forget.
if she's having a particularly hard day, she needs to be with someone (preferably momo because she cooks all her favorite foods) and needs to be held and fed because she will forget that she needs to eat and drink water
nd!jeongyeon
jeongyeon has had depression and social anxiety for a very long time
she has a really hard time being in front of cameras by herself and if she's with her members, she tries to be as goofy as she can be to try and distract her brain from overthinking everything
if she's having a really bad day, the main person who knows how to take care of her is mina. she and mina are very alike in the sense that when they don't feel good, they just want to be alone for a little while in front of the tv and in bed
sometimes practice can be very anxiety inducing since it's tied with good memories as well as really bad memories. if it's a harder day, one of the members will practice in another room with her so there's not as much pressure to get everything right
on the road she has to have headphones and music at all times, especially when they're going through the airports. usually dahyun or sana are distracting her by doing something silly until they get to their gate
in public someone is usually holding her hand or just touching her shoulder to ground her and let her know that she's okay and she's safe
nd!momo (actually working on a littlend!momo fic rn and will link it when it's posted!)
although people usually just see clumsiness, momo has dyspraxia; this means that she's got a lot of problems with coordination
althoguh she is the dancing mochine, there are days when even tying her shoes can be hard and one of the members has to do the fine motor skills for her (not that they mind at all)
momo's usually tired because it takes a lot of energy making sure she's not bumping into everything and remembering how to write and eat with chopsticks
sana and mina are especially patient with momo and are there to wait on her when she's having a really bad day. they're always helping her zip up her jackets and guiding her through dance steps they've all done a hundred times
momo really doesn't like speaking in public and it can be due to slight verbal issues. this is why it sometimes takes her a little longer to say something or she messes up words in japanese
any time momo is having a hard day, the members are there to cheer her up and laugh with her if she trips over something or messes up during practice; they want to make sure she knows it's okay

can I request cg Nayeon being kind of obsessed with baby Hyo's fluffy cheeks. Especially when Hyo pouts or smiles like this :] because it makes her cheeks looks so soft and squishy, and Nayeon can't help but kiss her baby's cheeks because she's just so adorable. Everything baby Hyo does is adorable in Nayeon's eyes.
since jihyo had started regressing more often, nayeon has found herself giving her baby more and more affection, giving her more and more loves, all just because the sweet girl is the cutest thing in nayeon’s eyes. it’s not uncommon for anyone in the dorm to pinch her cheeks or give her sweet kisses to her forehead and hair, but nayeon, she takes it to another level. jihyo receives all of nayeon’s affection, from pinching and sweet kisses to her baby’s cheeks to telling hyo that she’s just the cutest little thing, so precious and looks so squishy. jihyo smiles a lot when regressed, especially when she focuses, nayeon thinks that jihyo doesn’t realize it, not until her nayeon is poking her cheeks or placing a big kiss on both sides of the little girl’s face, who giggles at the kisses and then does her best to hug nayeon.
to nayeon, everything jihyo does is more adorable than ever, especially when she’s so young and precious.

omg can you write any little!twice member (you decide) colouring in chaeyoungs tattoos
hi anon :) absolutely! i think chaeyoung would be a bit surprised at first but she'd think it was really cute that they were using her as their own coloring book ha ha
little artist
|| little!tzuyu, big sis!chaeyoung, cg!jeongyeon ||
“Mama! Mama!” Tzuyu ran out to the living room, a pack of markers and a puppy themed coloring book tucked underneath her arm.
“Hey, pumpkin. We gotta be quiet because Chaengie’s taking a nap.” Jeongyeon held her finger up to her lips as soon as she saw the little. Tzuyu nodded in understanding and crawled up on the couch beside her mama. She laid out her coloring book and dumped the markers out.
“Mama color?” Tzuyu asked in a loud whisper as she looked up at her mama.
Jeongyeon smiled and kissed her forehead. “I’m sorry, baby but mama’s gotta start cooking dinner. I’m sure Chaengie will want to color once she’s awake though.
Tzuyu pouted a bit but nodded. She started to color quietly as whatever show her mama was watching played in the background. She looked up every once in a while but she wasn’t sure what was happening in the show.
//
After a half hour of coloring, Tzuyu had finished two puppies. One was rainbow and the other was blue and pink. She proudly handed them to her mama to put up on the fridge beside Chaeyoung’s art.
“Oh my goodness! These are awesome, sweetie. I’ll hang them up right now. Can you color one for mommy so she can have it when she gets back from the store with Momo and Mina?”
Tzuyu smiled and mumbled a small yes before running back to the couch. She sat down and started coloring her third puppy. Halfway through, she looked over to see Chaeyoung who was still asleep. Her unnie was wearing a short sleeve shirt, exposing some of the tattoos on her arms.
Tzuyu had never really gotten a good look at Chaeyoung’s tattoos so she decided to look at them while the girl was still. She slipped off the couch and crouched down beside Chaeyoung, nose only a few centimeters away from her unnie’s arm.
Most of Chaeyoung’s tattoos were abstract and colored in, but there were a few that were black and white. After looking at her unnie's tattoos for a few minutes, Tzuyu decided that her favorites were the carrots on her forearm and two tiny little tomatoes just below her shoulder.
As Tzuyu kept eyeing her unnie's tattoos, she had an idea. Whether or not it was a good idea would be something to deal with later. Tzuyu crept back over to her markers. She picked out a few colors and went back to Chaeyoung's side. She uncapped the purple one and carefully leaned in.
//
Chaeyoung had only been asleep for about an hour or so when she suddenly felt something tickling her arm. She moved around a little bit and the feeling stopped. A few seconds later, it came back. Chaeyoung scrunched her nose up at the feeling, letting out a small chuckle. She really didn't want to open her eyes yet, but eventually the tickling feeling got too strong to ignore.
What Chaeyoung had expected when she opened one of her eyes was Boo or one of the other dogs nudging her arm. What she didn't expect to see was Tzuyu's face about three centimeters away from her arm, green marker diligently filling in the tattoo by her elbow.
"Whatcha doing there, Tzu?" Chaeyoung's voice was groggy and it startled the little a bit. She jumped back, hiding the marker behind her back.
Tzuyu's face was a little red from being caught as she looked down in her lap, her voice small as she answered her big sister. "Not doin' nothin'."
Chaeyoung raised an eyebrow at this, a small grin on her lips as she raised her arm up to look at what all Tzuyu had done to her arm. As Chaeyoung turned her arm around to observe the little's work, she noticed that Tzuyu had run off into the kitchen.
Chaeyoung sighed and pushed herself off the couch, shuffling into the kitchen to see a teary eyed Tzuyu hiding behind Jeongyeon.
"Woah there. What's wrong, pumpkin?" Jeongyeon was pushed forward a little at the force that Tzuyu collided into her, holding onto the back of her mama's leg.
"W-wuined Chaengie's tattoos. Now she's mad a-at Tzu." Tzuyu sniffled and hid her face in her mama's leg, not wanting to be yelled at by her big sister.
Jeongyeon looked up, her eyebrows raised in confusion as Chaeyoung leaned against the entryway of the kitchen. "Did Tzu do something to your tattoos?"
Chaeyoung just chuckled and nodded, turning her arm for Jeongyeon to see Tzuyu's handywork. "She just colored a few of them in and added one of her own." The older pointed to the little stick figure dog Tzuyu had drawn and Jeongyeon smiled.
Chaeyoung bent down and tapped on Tzuyu's arm, causing the little to peek out from behind her mama's leg. "Hey, Tzu. I'm not upset. I think you did a really good job. You made my tattoos look super cool and I like the puppy you added.
At this, Tzuyu completely moved away from behind her mama's leg. She wiped a few of her tears away and sniffled, looking down at her big sister's arm. "P-pwomise?"
Chaeyoung just nodded and smiled. Taking Tzuyu's hands into her own, she placed gentle kisses to the backs of them. "I promise, Tzu. Do you want to finish coloring in the one by my elbow before mama finishes with dinner?"
Tzuyu enthusiastically nodded her head, now feeling loads better as she dragged her big sister back to the couch. She picked the green marker back up again and diligently filled the rest of the tattoo in.
//
Before Chaeyoung got into the shower to wash the marker off of her arm, she took one final look at Tzuyu's work in the mirror. She chuckled and took a few pictures, making sure to zoom in on the little puppy her little sister drew on her.
It was a little rough around the edges, but it was definitely something Chaeyoung could get used to seeing on her body permanently. Tzuyu wasn't such a bad little artist.

i loved that baby!nayeon ask omg :(
would it be alright to request a pt2 if that’s alright?
nayeon waking up in the middle of the night and just sobbing, trying hard to not wake up her mamas :(, but mama!sana wakes up and takes nayeon to the living room to calm her down without waking up momo.
sana feels awful for not realising how stressed nayeon was, and just holds her and babies her, they end up staying up for a few hours, sana taking care of her baby bunny :(.
love ur works <3
hihi <333 thank you for the kind words!! i’m sorry it took me so long to get to this, i managed to get fairly sick and am only just barely starting to feel better. i really enjoyed writing this, so i hope you and others will enjoy it too!!
momo fell asleep fairly quickly after settling in behind nayeon, momo’s hand on the regressed girl’s belly, holding nayeon close to her hips, nayeon had her head firmly tucked into sana’s neck, almost as if she couldn’t manage to get close enough to sana. sana however, stayed awake about a half an hour later, both checking on the little girl in her arms and momo who lie behind her, feeling such intense guilt about nayeon’s stress, why wouldn’t nayeon let anyone help until it came to this?
thankfully, sana fell asleep too, wrapping her arms as best she could around both of the women in the bed with her, falling into a dreamless sleep.
it was the same as that for a few hours, nothing stirred in the room, other than nayeon adjusting her legs occasionally, or momo holding nayeon tighter. it was the same until nayeon woke up in the middle of the night, no light other than the light from the hall, that they’d always left on just in case. she knew she wasn’t alone, she could feel sana and momo next to her, but they were sleeping, which, in poor regressed nayeonie’s mind, upset her even further.
sure she was stressed before she went to sleep, but sana and momo helped calm her down. but now they were asleep, nayeon couldn’t wake them. they were tired from practice and other activities, it would only be a nuisance to them, at least, that was what her mind was telling her. before long she was crying, doing her best to keep quiet despite all of the emotions she was feeling.
it was fruitless in the end, thought nearly five minutes had passed before sana stirred, nayeon felt the bed move and then sana’s arm wrapped around her tighten. nayeon died her best to silence herself, hoping sana would roll over and go back to sleep, she was okay, she promises - but seemingly only to reveal she wasn’t doing so good, she hiccuped from her crying, then started crying again. thankfully momo was a heavier sleeper than sana, so nayeon at least knew momo was resting, even if sana wasn’t.
“bunny?” sana’s voice was raspy, sleep filled, and nayeon didn’t want to reply. “can you think of a way i can help you?”
nayeon’s head shook rapidly, ‘no’ she wanted to say, but her little mind betrayed her, wrapped her arms tight around sana, tucking her nose where she could smell the fabric softener jeongyeon always bought for everyone to use, as well as the products sana had used on her skin before coming to bed.
before nayeon could realize what was happening, the two of them, sana and nayeon, were sat in the living room. sana adjusted nayeon, cradling the regressed girl to her chest, patting and rubbing her back in a pattern that soothed her. “can you tell me what’s wrong, bunny?”
nayeon shook her head, she couldn’t find the words to talk. it felt too complex, too much to do, but she had so much to say. she wanted to apologize, wanted to beg sana to just take them back to bed and forget nayeon woke her up, but she couldn’t, instead her body trembled, tears falling down her face faster.
“oh honey,” sana’s voice broke through nayeon’s thoughts, one hand leaving her back to wipe away the big tears cascading down nayeon’s face. “are you feeling guilty, precious girl?”
nayeon nodded, but it wasn’t all. in a moment of strength, she squeezed her eyes shut and did her very best to talk. “‘m sorry m’ma.” tears only fell down nayeon’s face faster, more frequently, and now her nose was running from how hard she was crying, wanting to just curl up and hide in sana’s chest for the rest of the night. “bun didn’ mean t’ awake you.”
nayeon couldn’t see her face, but with the sad sigh that left sana, she assumed sana had frowned, then felt the caregiver’s arms wrap back around her, then using one hand to reach up to her hair. “i-mama’s not upset with you bunny, i promise.” sana pressed a kiss to her forehead, holding her tighter before reaching to grab the soft throw on the back of the couch to wrap nayeon in, assuming nayeon was like the other littles in the dorm, loved soft things and needed to be held, then covered the both of them up with it. “just worried, bun.”
nayeon nodded, she felt too tired to try and explain what was wrong, even saying those few words had took so much out of her; sana was warm, the blanket was soft, and slowly her body relaxed into sana’s. “do you want me to turn on a movie and we can stay up for a while, just sitting together?”
nayeon nodded, a shaky deep breath leaving her. she felt sana’s hand leave her bottom, that was holding her against sana’s own body, then return once she found the remote in the couch cushions, hurrying to disney+ and selecting a movie they’d seen hundreds of times, just for some background noise. nayeon felt less guilty now, allowing herself to open her eyes and sit up to look sana in the eyes, the woman smiled back at her when nayeon did so.
“we’ll stay here till you feel better, or until you fall asleep, okay?” nayeon nodded, happy to sit with sana to receive the love that sana was offering. very gently and carefully, nayeon pressed a kiss to sana’s cheek, then did her best to say a ‘thank you’ as she pulled away. sana seemed to understand, pressing her own kiss to both of nayeon’s cheeks, then pulled the regressed girl’s head down her chest, allowing nayeon hear her breathing and heartbeat, hoping it would soothe nayeon to fully fall asleep.
nayeon was only awake another thirty minutes, too relaxed in her mama’s arms, being held close and given so much love, and when nayeon fell asleep, sana turned the movie down a few clicks, kicked the footrest up on the couch, readjusted them until both were comfy and sana was fairly certain her legs wouldn’t go numb from sitting in the same position for a very long time, finally she pressed another kiss to nayeon’s forehead. “i’m happy to care for you, i hope you don’t let it get this bad again, nayeonie. thank you for letting me be your mama.”
if the other members found sana and nayeon in the same position in the morning, they didn’t say.

Bedtime
m upset so here is me writing out how I feel but also comforting myself with a short thing bc I can relate to baby mina. also I wrote this half asleep and running on no sleep for 24+ hours so I apologize if there are any mistakes <3
|little!mina, cg!2yeon|
word count: 941
warnings: mina is autistic, talk abt nightmares, hair pulling as a way to regulate emotions, just a little sad with a happy ending bc we all need that rn and I want to sleep peacefully with mommies 2yeon too :(
Everyone was laid on the couch watching a movie that was quickly coming to an end. Mina rested against jeongyeons chest, her thumb in her mouth, a habit that she always had when she was sleepy. Nayeon opposite of them, with mina’s legs resting over her lap whilst her fingers drew soft loving circles around the soft spot of her calves, the credits began to roll on the tv in front of them and she spoke through a whisper, breaking the comfortable silence.
“Hey love bug, I think it’s time for bed yeah? Why don’t you come with me, i’ll help you brush your teeth!” Standing up, nayeon gently picked up mina as she shifted around in her arms with a few whines.
“mina don wan sleepies mama, mina wan mama stay wit her” her arms tightened around the back of nayeons neck as a form of expressing that she was being firm.
“Oh baby… you have to get some sleep, otherwise how will you have energy to play tomorrow?” they walked into the bathroom, she switched on the light and sat the little down on the sink’s marble countertop. But when she tried to back away mina’s grip was still tighter than ever, like she was determined to stay that close with her mama forever.
“saids mina don wan sleepies!” fussing around in her arms, she began to kick her feet while letting out a few more frustrated whines. “mina wan mama! sleepies bad sleepies hurt mina!”
At this point, jeongyeon was also standing in the doorway after being called over to help nayeon calm the upset little. Mina started to feel anxious, like there were ants crawling under her skin and her brain was on fire. Moving a hand away from her grasp on her mama, she grabbed a fistful of her hair and began tugging on it roughly in an attempt to sooth herself. “no sleepies! no sleepies! bad!” she began to yell as the overwhelming feeling of having to sleep and relive a common nightmare of hers she had the night before brought her to tears and soon she was sobbing vigorously against nayeons chest.
Mina was starting to hurt herself and pull strands out of her scalp with every other tug. Jeongyeon quickly stepped forward from the doorway to grab the little girls hand, and held it in hers as she gave it gentle kisses.
“mina baby, what’s scaring you about sleeping? have you had a bad dream?”
Through choked sobs she tried to stutter out a few words that neither caregiver could make out. The lack of understanding of what she was trying to say upset mina even further, causing her to take her other hand and ball the hair on the opposite side of her scalp in her fist as well.
Nayeon began to worry heavily, and took mina back out to the living room where she sat back down on the couch and rocked the both of them back and forth trying to calm down the sobs that were shaking the girls body.
“Sweetheart, mama and mommy aren’t going anywhere and the bad dreams can’t hurt you I promise.”
“Your mama’s right peanut, we’re always here when you sleep and you need us. Would you like to come to bed with your mommies tonight instead? Would that help the bad dreams go away?”
The rocking movements and gentle tone they used with her helped calm her jumbled mind slightly and after a few minutes minas sobs turned into occasional sniffles and small hiccups. One fist still in her hair, she grabbed the hem of nayeons shirt and brought it closer, a way that mina often grounds herself. She loved the sweet scents and soft textures that her mamas clothes always had. They made her feel like she was laying on a warm cloud.
Taking a while to respond, nayeon grabbed the hand still in minas hair and interlaced it with hers,
“Okay, cmon my sweet girl you can come to bed with mama tonight.”
The three of them entered the bedroom and as jeongyeon fixed up the bed for them all to sleep in, nayeon quickly changed mina into her favorite blue pajamas, and slipped a pull up on the small girl so that she didn’t have any accidents during the night. She was still fussy, but was only mumbling a few words such as “mama” “mommy” and “bobo”, for her paci that sat on the bedside table. Jeongyeon took mina from nayeon arms so that she could get undressed as well, and laid down in the middle of the bed, the little crawling on top of her chest and placing her ear to her heart. The boom of their heartbeats made her feel safer, closer even, so they always let her rest there whenever she wants. Nayeon climbed into the bed and under the blankets on the other side of mina, grabbing the blue penguin themed paci from the nightstand and sliding it past her lips.
She fussed slightly, prompting jeongyeon to rock her side to side.
“We love you peanut, and your mommies will never let anything hurt you, if you have any bad dreams you’ll wake up and both of us will be here to protect you from them, okay?”
mina closed her eyes slowly and hummed in response.
“Goodnight my sweet girl, i love you.”
nayeon pulled the comforter over them, and let out a sigh.
On the brink of sleep, and finally feeling safe again in the arms of her mommies, she mumbled barely audibly before stilling for the night.
“no bad nite mamas, mina wuvs u too”

ageretober day 19: uh-oh!
Tumblr media
dinnertime was always an interesting time of the day in the yoo-im household. typically, jihyo would eat her food with no problems, but sometimes, she would decide to not cooperate.
it was a hard task to get her to try new foods, especially vegetables. the little was very picky and resistant to adding anything new to her food pallet. if it was up to her, she would eat jeongyeon's homemade chicken nuggets and fries for every single meal.
since her little tummy is so sensitive, she can't eat many processed foods like fast food or frozen foods, so jeongyeon and nayeon have to play it safe and make her home-cooked meals daily. they don't mind putting in the effort though, as long as their little girl is happy and healthy.
on this particular night, nayeon cooked a new dish for jihyo to try. it had ingredients that she was familiar with, so nayeon didn't think it would be a problem.
of course, she was very wrong.
jihyo did recognize what was in it, but she was very wary. she was scared of how it would taste with everything put together, along with the texture of the dish.
she stared at the plate in front of her for a few minutes, occasionally poking at it with her finger. she curiously furrowed her eyebrows, not sure what to make of her dinner.
jeongyeon noticed she wasn’t eating, so she got up from the table and made her way to jihyo’s highchair.
“do you wanna try it? it’s really yummy, mommy made it herself.” jeongyeon tried to convince the little, with no interest shown from her at all.
jihyo stared up at her mama with big round eyes, as if she didn’t understand what was just said.
jeongyeon took jihyo’s spoon and got a spoonful of the dish, attempting to get her to try it. she pretended the spoon was an airplane, which usually worked with jihyo, but this time she turned her head away and whined.
again, jeongyeon made airplane noises and held the spoon near jihyo’s face. jihyo, to no surprise, still refused the spoonful.
at this point, jihyo was wanting something else for dinner, too nervous to try the new food that nayeon cooked. in her little mind, the only way to get new food is to get rid of the old food.
how did she do that, you may ask?
she flipped her plate over, spilling half of it on the highchair tray and the rest onto the floor. to jihyo, this was absolutely amusing and hilarious, so she erupted into laughter, thinking what she did was extremely funny.
to nayeon and jeongyeon, they would be the ones cleaning up the mess, so while it wasn’t all that funny, they couldn’t help but find jihyo’s giggles adorable.
immediately, jeongyeon knew what jihyo actually wanted. “well, it looks like you gotta have chicken nuggets for dinner.” jeongyeon dramatically sighed, noticing jihyo beam with excitement, knowing her master plan had worked.

can you write about little!mina accidentally breaking a plate and getting so scared that cg!nayeon will punish her
hi anon :) absolutely! poor little thing would be so scared :(( but i know nayeon would know that she would never mean to break it on purpose because mina's a good little penguin! this is also a good addition to the little!mina au.
one less dish
|| little!mina, cg!nayeon / little!mina au / non-diol au ||
"All done, mama!" Nayeon wiped some ketchup off the corner of Mina's mouth when the little pointed to her empty plate. Chicken nuggets, green beans, and mac & cheese never failed to make her happy. Mina bounced a little in her seat as she drank a little more watermelon juice in her sippy cup.
"Good job, baby. Can you help mama dry the dishes after I wash them?" Nayeon smiled as Mina excitedly nodded. She took the girl's bib off before Mina ran into the kitchen with her sippy cup.
Although it was a boring task for most, Mina loved drying the dishes. Her mama always put her favorite music on and danced with her while she washed the dishes. Nayeon always made it fun and Mina helping made the process go a lot faster. This meant that they could cuddle on the couch a lot sooner as well.
//
Nayeon had almost finished, washing the very last plate. She swayed her hips to the music coming out of her laptop that was sitting on the counter behind her. She handed Mina the last plate and dried her hands, watching as Mina carefully dried the plate.
"Can you finish drying and put the plate on the counter when you're done, sweet girl? Manager unnie's calling. I'll be right back." Mina nodded and giggled when Nayeon placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before going into her bedroom.
Mina dried the front of the plate off and flipped it over to the back. She started to wipe it down when she noticed there was still a little more soap on the back. She frowned at it and set the drying towel down on the counter. She had to let her mama know that it still needed to be cleaned of all the soap.
As Mina waddled out of the kitchen, she didn't see the empty Lego box laying on the floor. Without a second to register anything, Mina tripped over the box and the plate fell out of her hands, breaking the second it touched the floor.
Mina sat up, her hands covering her mouth, eyes wide. "Uh oh..." She looked up at Nayeon's door, hoping that her mama didn't hear anything. Mina wasn't sure if it was a special plate or just a regular one, but her mama did seem to really like using them so she's sure she'd be mad at Mina for dropping it.
The little panicked and picked up some of the bigger pieces, accidentally cutting her finger on one of the sharper pieces. A small whimper left her mouth as she ran to the trash can in the kitchen. She threw away the big pieces and tried to hold back the flood of tears that were threatening to spill any second.
Her mama was really going to be mad at her now. She broke the plate and she cut herself because she wasn't careful. Mina's breathing picked up as she stood by the trash can, quickly deciding that she had to hide. Maybe if she hid for long enough, her mama wouldn't be mad at her.
//
"Okay. I'm done with my call, baby." Nayeon walked out of her room and headed for the kitchen. She completely passed the small plate pieces left on the floor and set her phone down beside the sink. "Where'd you go, angel?" Nayeon looked around the kitchen and noticed the drying towel was on the counter as well as a half full sippy cup, but Mina was nowhere to be seen.
She took a few steps out of the kitchen and finally saw the little pieces of the plate on the ground poorly hidden behind the Lego box. "Oh, Mina." Nayeon let out a small sigh and stepped over the pieces as well as the Lego box, getting the dustpan under the sink. She swept up all the bigger pieces before she quickly vacuumed any invisible pieces left.
Nayeon paused the music on her laptop and slipped her phone back in her pocket. She broke down and put the empty Lego box into the recycling and started her search for the little. "Mina baby, where are you?"
//
Mina heard her mama calling for her from her spot in the closet. She covered her mouth with her hand to muffle her sobs as she pushed herself further into the corner. If her mama found her now, she's sure she'd be upset with her. Mina was bad for breaking the plate and bad girls only got punishments.
"Are you in the your room?"
Nayeon's voice sounded a lot closer as she walked into her bedroom. The little froze, pulling down one of her dress shirts to cover herself in case her mama checked in the closet. How did she check the rest of the apartment so fast?
Mina could hear Nayeon's footsteps and the opening and closing of the doors to the bathroom. As Nayeon's footsteps grew louder and louder, Mina shut her eyes tight and curled up into herself as tight as she could. The light flicked on and the closet door slid open.
Nayeon crouched down, eyes scanning the floor when she spotted two feet sticking out from beneath the bottom of a dress shirt on the ground. At this point, Mina was breathing loud enough for Nayeon to hear.
Busted.
//
The older's heart broke at the sound of Mina's heavy breaths. She tried to reach out and pull the dress shirt off of Mina, only wanting to hold the poor girl now.
Mina flinched, only breathing louder as she scooted impossibly further back into the closet. She started to sob again and laid down, pulling her knees into her chest to try and protect herself.
Any time she had broken anything or done anything wrong at the sixth house she was placed in, she'd get scolded and put in time out. They'd put her in one of the hallway closets and lock the door until they thought she had learned her lesson.
"Hey, sweet girl. It's okay. I'm not mad. I promise." Nayeon reached out for the dress shirt again, gently tugging on it. Mina just shook her head and cried even harder, trying to get the dress shirt out of her mama's hands.
Nayeon frowned at this and scooted a little closer. As carefully as she could, she lifted the dress shirt off of Mina, revealing the little's pitiful position. Mina was tightly curled into herself, a little wet spot on the front of her shirt from where she'd been crying.
As soon as the shirt was all the way off of Mina, she threw her hands over her ears. She shook like a leaf as she cried, yelling out, "Din't mean to mama! I s-sowwy! Din't mean to!"
Nayeon struggled to hold back her own tears as she watched her baby shake. "Mama's not mad, angel. I promise. It was only one plate and it wasn't one that I really liked anyway." Nayeon reached a hand out and gently brushed back some of the hair that had stuck to the little's forehead.
Mina flinched a little but calmed down once she realized that her mama wasn't going to do anything bad to her. She kept her hands tight over her ears but opened her eyes, vision blurred by her tears.
"Can mama hold you?"
Mina shakily nodded and scooted out from under her shirts and into Nayeon's lap. Her body shook and she kept crying, but her mama's touch made her feel a little better. She still knew her mama was mad, but she needed the physical attention right now.
"S-sowwy mama. Din't mean to. Minari bad." Mina shook her head and scratched behind her ears. It hurt, but she needed to punish herself somehow.
Nayeon noticed this as she wrapped an arm around her baby. She gently pulled Mina's hands away from her ears, tightly holding them in her lap so she wouldn't keep scratching. When Nayeon ran her hands through Mina's hair, she realized that the soft area behind the girl's ears was scratched raw.
"Oh my goodness, baby." Nayeon felt a tear slip out and wiped it away quickly, lifting Mina's hands up to kiss the backs of them. "Are you scratching back there because it feels good?"
Mina shook her head and buried her face in her mama's neck. Nayeon could feel her baby's tears quickly soaking through her shirt collar but it was the least of her worries right now.
//
After a warm bath and a band-aid was put on her small cut, Mina's sobs turned into light sniffles and whimpers. Her breathing was still uneven and she was still shaking a little, but it was a vast improvement to the state Nayeon originally found her in.
Nayeon laid Mina down on the bed and grabbed her penguin onesie out of the closet. She pulled a diaper out from the last drawer in her dresser and quickly changed the girl, not wanting to make it any more stressful for her.
Once she was clean and changed, Nayeon picked Mina up and laid back in bed with her. She leaned against the headboard and rocked Mina back and forth, patting her back gently.
"Feeling a little better, sweet girl?"
Mina sniffled and nodded a little, resting her now very tired head on her mama's shoulder. She brought one of her hands up again to scratch but Nayeon caught it, bringing it back to her lap. She rubbed small circles on the back of Mina's hand, hoping it would help to calm her down a little more.
"Do you want to tell mama why you're scratching?" Nayeon placed a small kiss on the side of Mina's head, pausing her ministrations to adjust her position against the headboard.
"M-Mina bad." Mina glanced up to look at Nayeon and quickly looked back down when she found her mama looking right at her.
Nayeon let out a small sigh and gently tilted Mina's head up by her chin. She placed a kiss to her nose and then to each cheek. "Are you scratching to punish yourself, baby?'
Mina nodded again, tears forming again in her eyes. Her mama didn't look mad, but Mina just knew it was impossible for her not to be mad.
"I'm so sorry that you feel the need to do that, sweet girl, but I promise that I would never punish you in any way that would hurt you. A broken plate isn't something I would ever be mad about." Nayeon peppered a few kisses against Mina's forehead, happy that Mina was slowly starting to realize that Nayeon felt nothing but love and affection towards her.
"You're such a good girl, baby. You're not bad at all. One less dish isn't going to change that, and I know you'd never do something like that on purpose."
Mina leaned her forehead against Nayeon's and nodded, taking a deep breath. Maybe she was wrong. Her mama would never lie to her and if she said that she wasn't a bad girl, then she must be telling the truth.
"S-sowwy, mama." Mina wrapped her arms around her mama's neck and felt her body relax at the sweet scent of Nayeon's vanilla lotion.
"I know, sweet girl. Accidents happen and that's okay. Next time something breaks, just let me know, okay? Mama doesn't want you to get hurt."

It was almost midnight by the time Mina had fully calmed down. She was wrapped up in Nayeon. Her head was on Nayeon's chest, just listening to her heartbeat, and her arms tucked in the hem of Nayeon's shirt. The only sounds she could hear were her mama's heartbeat and the low volume of the YouTube video playing from her mama's phone.
Mina was tired from crying so much and from the amount of adrenaline she had felt a few hours ago. As her eyes closed, her grip loosened on Nayeon's shirt. Nayeon looked down and smiled, turning her phone off as she set it on her bedside table. She turned the night light on and the overhead lights off as she reached in the drawer to get Mina's pacifier.
"I love you so so much, angel. You're such a good girl. Sleep tight and remember that I'm always here." Nayeon placed the pacifier between Mina's lips and gently ran her fingers through her hair.
Mina let out a content sigh. Her mama's hands were so gentle. The sound of her mama's heartbeat was like music to her ears and most importantly, she wasn't mad at her. Maybe everything was going to be all okay after all.
