What kind of bowl do you feed your pet in? Here’s some pro’s and Con’s to the main options out there.
Glass -
Pros: Sturdy, cleanly, less prone to bacteria build up.
Cons: Could potentially break if your dog plays with it too roughly or it falls from a shelf or countertop.

Metal / Stainless Steel
Not all metal is created equally! it’s important that you source real stainless steel and look for certification of that if you choose to use metal bowls.
Pros: Real stainless steel is less prone to bacteria build up. It won’t wear and tear like cheap metals. It definitely won’t break or shatter like glass.
Cons: Cheap metals can warp, and get scratches which harbor bacteria. Stainless steel can rust if not washed and dried properly. True Stainless Steel is a bit pricey.

Using feeding mats is another option, and can work for really well.
Pros: No whisker interference. Easy to clean.
Cons: might be hard to place meals on a floppy silicon feeding mat. You’ll need to do research on the best options/sizes for your pet.
