Hi friends! I need your help!

Due to being tender but curious, I would love your help! I’d love to see kind, gushing, fanfic style reviews for my book, but I don’t want to see any criticism or even lukewarm comments or backhanded compliments. I have editors for that and I need to stay in the right headspace for drafting!

So this means I can’t read my own reviews, but I would like to see what (if any 😵‍💫) nice things folks are saying.

To that end, I’ve put together a little google doc, and I’m hoping if you’re bored and have time, a few of you might be willing to help me out by pasting in the nice comments you find, and ignoring the rest, like we’re all in this meme:

Reviews are starting to trickle in now from early readers, and will continue to do so for about 6-9 months (release date is about 5.5 months from now).

Pirate terms

Just in case you decide to turn pirate later on in life, here are a few terms you should be familiar with concerning your new profession. " Gone on the account" was the generally recognized phrase for going A- pyrating. "Finding their market" referred to the successful capture and plundering of a prize. "Looking for merchandise consigned to them" described a pirate vessel cruising for victims, while the phrase "no prey, no pay" meant the crew received no pay unless a prize was captured.
