Hello I have tried looking and I may have just missed something, but I keep seeing timeloop posts tagged for Baby and I am dreadfully curious if there's any more context you'd be willing to share? Timeloop and time travel fics are some of my favorite tropes, and I'm already a huge fan of your work, so adding even more tropes that I adore is just <3

I haven’t formally mentioned it so you’re good!! They’re also low key inspiration posts for a fic I really wanna write that’s basically me asking myself, “Okay but time travel/time loop fic where the one looping is a more minor character would be interesting… They’d have to figure out what happened during all the time they didn’t see…” SO. I’m gonna trap Baby Saja in a time loop, make him figure out how to keep everyone alive while being the only one to remember what’s happening whenever the time loop resets, and have a grand ol’ time with it.

Still in development but I’m getting to explore some gray morality and It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better stuff. Just a lot of ‘Okay but what if [x] happened, how badly could that go?’ And running wild with it. He’ll work it out eventually… But I’m gonna make him work for it.

Journal Death Note AU: In which Near is the one who kicks the bucket (for reasons) and Mello and Matt are the one's to live. Mello gets L's title and Near's unexpected Will to go along with it; In the form of many notes, varying from Open cases that Near cracked open but not all the way, to an arrangement of thoughts spanning the duration of the Kira case. It starts well enough. That is to say, Mello ignores the entire thing until the monotony of being L gets the best of him, and ends up finding a whole other side of Near he never thought he'd be able to see. Realizations are made, but its far too late for anything that could have been done.
