The more I interact with Christians online, the more I hear about them, the more I am convinced that we need to be better about practicing radical love and kindness and grace.

I'm listening to Michael Knowles interview Nala Ray, the OnlyFans porn star who converted to Christianity and she talks about her experience with Christians who are trying to catch her out on theological mishaps or being upset that someone who was so promiscuous could become a faithful Christian. I see Christians on this site be unnecessarily rude and combative and unwilling to be civil to people who disagree with them.

Please, Christians. We are called to follow the example of Jesus. Welcome those who come home. Be kind to those who are lost. Be firm in the truth but do not use it to insult or drive away those who need it.

Overcome the challenges

Let me tell you, I'm not perfect, far, far, far from it, I make mistakes daily, and sometimes I feel like a lost cause compared to every other Christian I see. Sometimes il be so deep in my faith, praying every morning, reading my bible morning, afternoon, night, preaching, church and, then suddenly it all stops, I laze around, or worries for school start to consume me, and I forget who I should be turning to for help during these overwhelming times. Honestly, sometimes I don't believe Jesus can help, that I will have to do it on my own, but then it gets worse. The hole is deep, and overthinking has me in a tight grip where I can't see the light in the darkness around me, then at night when fears, worries and a fogged up mind have me at my worst I glance at my nightstand and see my teal book with embroider flowers in the middle, the word bible on display underneath and suddenly I know why I'm in the darkness, its simple. I simply forgot to turn on the lamp. If I can't see in the dark, il go to the one thing that will shed its bright light on the whole room, that will clear the darkness ahead. Jesus Christ. I mean, the man created it on day 1, no? if you're in a deep hole and you can't find the way ou,t open your bible and watch as it sheds light on your heart, as relief fills your clouded mind because now you see the truth, that darkness is nothing compared to love of our eternal loving God.

Last month, I found God, and I know to some people this will annoy you, anger you, or you simply just don't care enough about God, perhaps even think I'm just adding to the number of delusional people. But let me tell you, He is very much real, iv felt it, his love, his glory, being saved and seen by Him. And let me tell you it feels amazing, iv never felt so secure, peaceful, and fearless. I do things without worrying if I will fail because I know God will lift me back up stronger. THAT'S the kind of God he is, the one we don't hear about in the media because people wanna push a different agenda. God loves all. The dying children, the victims, thieves, mothers, fathers, the ones with no shelter, the cheaters, the ones who haven't graduated, the ones who lost their jobs God is there, alive, active, and waiting to heal the aches in our hearts, to give us the relief that he is there watching over us, holding our hands. If you think no one is there for you, that you are alone. You're so incredibly wrong, for you have the whole heavens waiting for your prayer and attention. God wants you, and yes, he loves you as a Father loves his children, as a shepherd takes care of his sheep, as the sun helps the flowers bloom.
