In another universe, we share a kitchen and we dance every night to embarrassing pop songs and no one ever feels shame. Love pours through the open window, escaping gently with the smoke from your cigarette and the neighbours think we’re crazy but in the morning they have forgotten because we bask in soft silence, gold running along your skin, blue and green eyes gazing into each other and now the love is pouring from my fuming coffee cup and they can all smell the joy falling down onto their balconies.
