Spring is a time of year where everything is reborn. Refreshing to feel that I'm taking part in this season. Feeling more positive about my life than I ever have even while the world seems in turmoil. Thankful that I've found someone that can be by my side during this journey.

Ok Ken (and David). As much as I hate to make you guys famous or even respond to you directly. We all die one day and you're old so fuck it. Yea yea my 2013 performance at the Grammys was absolute shit. Technical difficulties, blah blah. Thanks for the reminder. Very much appreciated. Fuck that performance though. You think that's why I kept my work out of the Grammy process this year? Don't you think I would've wanted to play the show to 'redeem' myself if I felt that way? In reality, I actually wanted to participate in honoring Prince on the show but then I figured my best tribute to that man's legacy would be to continue to be myself out here and to be successful. Winning a TV award doesn't christen me successful. It took me some time to learn that. I bought all my masters back last year in the prime of my career, that's successful. Blonde sold a million plus without a label, that's successful. I am young, black, gifted and independent.. that's my tribute. I've actually been tuning into CBS around this time of year for a while to see who gets the top honor and you know what's really not 'great TV' guys? 1989 getting album of the year over To Pimp A Butterfly. Hands down one of the most 'faulty' TV moments I've seen. Believe the people. Believe the ones who'd rather watch select performances from your program on YouTube the day after because your show puts them to sleep. Use the old gramophone to actually listen bro, I'm one of the best alive. And if you're up for a discussion about the cultural bias and general nerve damage the show you produce suffers from then I'm all for it. Have a good night.

Couldn't agree more.
The thing is, because they silenced Warren more people are reading the letter than would have if they let her speak.
People never learn, if you try to silence something it will only make it louder.

Senator McConnell
I hope Mitch McConnell silencing Elizabeth Warren only helps shed the light on how wealthy white men are completely out of touch with what a majority of people in this country stand for. He thinks he won that battle. He didn't. It just goes to show how women still aren't treated with respect or the equal rights that are granted to them by the constitution. By him silencing her, it goes back to his younger years where a man could silence a women and no one would blink an eye. Not today. People from around this country and the world are beginning to show that enough is enough. We cannot continue to go back to our bigoted history. Senator McConnell I hope that you understand that if you keep this up, Republicans will lose their power just as quickly as they thought they had it.

President Donald Trump on Monday made an unsubstantiated attack on the integrity of The New York Times, claiming without any evidence that the newspaper writes “total fiction” about him, “making up” its stories and sources.
“The failing @nytimes writes total fiction concerning me,” Trump tweeted late Monday morning. “They have gotten it wrong for two years, and now are making up stories & sources!”
The Times ran a detailed story about the workings of the White House late Sunday, reporting that there will be a “new set of checks” on the influence of advisers Stephen Bannon and Stephen Miller, among other points. The story portrayed the White House as at times roiled by conflict and the president as preoccupied with how his administration is portrayed on television.
While many of sources cited in the report were unnamed, the paper also included the perspectives of others on the record, including press secretary Sean Spicer and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the first leader of the president’s transition team. Spicer, for his part, said Trump’s aides “moved into the White House as a unified team committed to enacting the president’s agenda.”
Trump did not identify any parts of the report he believes to be inaccurate. Like other outlets, POLITICO has also reported on turmoil among staffers, noting that distrust in others across the government has prompted a number of leaks out of the West Wing.

War on Drugs
Doesn't the Republican party and Donald Trump understand that part of the reason there are powerful gangs and drug cartels in Mexico and Central American is because of Americas demand for drugs? It's basic supply and demand economics. There's a huge demand for drugs in our country and where do they come from? Well down south. Let's not act like a wall is going to simply fix this problem. People will continue to come to our country to try and escape violence that is essentially caused by our addiction to drugs. I know it's hard for rich white men to understand that yes your children have participated in this problems as well. Let's stop blaming other people for our problems and let's look at ourselves in the mirror. We need new drug policy because the war on drugs has failed. Just like when Nixon started the war on drugs, Trumps new policy will fail as well and cost the American tax payers tons of wasted money.

Four Takeaways from Trump’s Latest Tweet Tantrum
This morning Donald Trump bashed NBC, tweeting: “Totally biased NBCNews went out of its way to say that the big announcement from Ford, G.M., Lockheed & others that jobs are coming back to the U.S., but had nothing to do with TRUMP, is more FAKE NEWS. Ask top CEO’s of those companies for real facts. Came back because of me!”
Here are four takeaways from Trump’s latest tantrum:
1. As usual, Trump has his facts wrong. Analysts say Ford’s decision to expand in Michigan rather than in Mexico had mostly to do with the company’s long-term plans to invest in electric vehicles. It’s easier for companies to find highly skilled workers to build new products, such as electric cars, in the United States than in Mexico.
GM said its plan was approved before the election, but it was “accelerated” under pressure from Trump. Relatedly, Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat Chrysler chief executive, said Chrysler’s plan to build some cars in the U.S. had been in the works for more than a year and had nothing to do with Trump. Marchionne credited the decision to talks with the United Auto Workers.
2. Once again, the tweet reveals Trump’s pathological narcissism. All Trump can think of about is “TRUMP,” which he capitalizes, then insists that the jobs “Came back because of me!” This is the rant of a child wanting attention and praise, not someone who will shortly be President of the United States.
3. It’s also dangerous. Although Trump’s outrage at NBC – like his condemnation of other specific media outlets that don’t report what he wants – is harmless now,  it could threaten press freedom when Trump has power over regulators at the FCC and antitrust division who could make life difficult for targeted media outlets.
4. It’s intended to divert attention from the big stuff. Trump’s specific deals with particular companies diverts attention from his larger initiatives that will hurt working Americans.
Repealing the Affordable Care Act, for example, will leave at least 18 million Americans without health insurance next year.
Trump’s cabinet picks are overwhelmingly anti-worker. Andrew Puzder, Trump’s nominee for the Labor Department, wants to get rid of Obama’s overtime rule, which, if implemented, is expected to add $12 billion to workers’ wallets over the next decade. And Puzder is against the minimum wage.
And the huge corporate tax cuts and military buildup Trump is pushing will give congressional Republicans a rationale to cut Medicare and Social Security, in order to avoid bigger budget deficits.
A few jobs “saved” is nothing compared to these and other hardships Trump will be imposing on working Americans.
All told, Trump’s tweet tantrum reveals a great deal about the man who’s soon to be president of the United States. None of it inspires confidence.

Whether or not you support trump, please do not try and tell me that his rhetoric isn't dangerous. It is. When you're the president people take your words a little more literally. It can affect our younger generations or our men and women who are over seas fighting to protect our national security. This is no longer a game. The stakes are high and the republicans better not blink.

Full Legalization of Marijuana in the United States of America
Cannabis is a plant that has been used by many people all around the world for many different reasons for many years. People have continued to use it for years in our country, for whatever their own reasons, even though it has been deemed of no value under our current law. It continues to be used today in even greater numbers despite all of the efforts made to persecute people who choose to enjoy its many benefits. The only solution to this problem is full legalization and regulation. If full legalization is passed our country will enjoy tremendous economic windfalls and soaring tax revenues. We know our country could do a lot of good things with money that we will never see unless we stop persecuting a plant and the innocent people who have enjoyed it for thousands of years!

Secretary of State
Crazy how Rex Tillerson's Secretary of State confirmation hearing isn't being covered by any of the cable news networks. Jeff sessions was covered all day, I don't see how a CEO of Exxon Mobile wouldn't be covered. This is unprecedented that someone who hasn't served in government would be appointed to this position. You have to go to C-SPAN3 to watch it.
