did they actually say she marries a man in India? I thought they just said she went horse riding with her husband without specifying anything. though in the books Edwina doesn't marry the Queen's nephew so I don't know what they're going for, book accuracy or what.

I havent gotten round to rewatching season 3 yet, I havent even finished season 2, but i could swear I remember them specifying India, unless i've gotten it mistaken bc Kate spends the entirety of season 2 declaring she will be going back to India once Edwina marries

My least favourite thing about bridgerton season 3 is the throw away comment about how Edwina married a man in India bc it goes in direct contrast to the the throw away comment at the end of season 2 where the Queen tells Edwina she has a single nephew in Germany.

Thinking about an angsty EngNor au where they get together at the back end of 2019 and find their sweetest most tender moments rising in the english countryside during the pandemic. But Arthur is a fundamentally different person when he's isolated in nature to him in his everyday life. And whilst this lifestyle is fine for Arthur for a little while, I dont think he could ever truly settle down in it, at least not until he's a lot older. He needs some chaos and mess in his life in a way he refuses to admit. And Aksel is slowly beginning to feel trapped. And for a while they bring themselves even closer in love by bonding over the mutual agreement they're happy but they need something more. Arthur needs a lifestyle that can keep him on his toes & Aksel needs to travel and explore the world alone sometimes.

And eventually the pandemic ends and Arthur immediately goes back down to London and Aksel immediately goes back up to Norway. And when they meet up again it slowly starts dawning on them that maybe they arent actually all that compatible. And everytime they hit rough patches they run back to that same old countryside house. Back to when their relationship felt so fundamentally right. But they cant live that life forever. Aksel has to get out of england spend so much time alone and Arthur cant deal with someone who cant stay with him and provide both chaos but also peace and comfort. They end up hitting some kind of slump, Arthur begins to just settle for this relationship he isnt happy in, slowly beginning to resent Aksel. And Aksel became so accustomed to feeling numb before he met arthur, he doesnt realise the issue when he slowly starts to feel numb with arthur. Eventually he realises he never cared enough about romance to justify staying when he could just... be alone?

Can someone who's a little more familiar with Taiwanese names help me out a little?

Every website i read tells me Taiwan uses the three-syllable naming system that's common in some other east-Asian countries. Which tells me her first name should have two syllables (since her surname is Xiao).

But ive never seen anyone call her anything besides just Mei? I'm probably going to give her the full name Xiāo Měi-líng, but i've never seen anyone point out that she should have a second syllable in her name and I'm a little confused just how necessary it is?

And also is Měi on its own is fine as a nickname

A small detail i love abt kpop demon hunters is that in the beginning, the first hunters are described as singing "songs of hope and courage" and the main issue Rumi later has with Takedown bc the song is about hate, and Huntrix later improvise What It Sounds Like, which is a song about hope and courage. And ofc self-acceptance.

It really shows how the culture of the hunters has changed and the actual purpose of the songs got lost over time. Even the first song we hear from Huntrix is not about hope and courage.
