I learned how to move npcs in TotK and since I’m a Zelink AND LinPaya shipper I just had to take Paya to Lover’s Pond.

Paya shook her head as she looked up at the ruins and gave her a soft smile. “I don’t think so. I’m the chief remember?” Not even Tauro or Calip could reprimand them despite the fact that they were appointed as the researchers.

After all, Paya was the one that put the order that no villager under any circumstance should go up the ruins. Let alone the chasm because no one knew what lurked in the depths. But the ruins weren’t dangerous.

She happily held onto her hand, swinging their hands gently as they started making their way to the ruins with Paya walking alongside the princess. “Link also seemed to be enjoying himself to notice us sneaking off.”

The celebration itself was a delight, warm and welcoming, and no small amount overwhelming in the best possible way - to see she had been missed, to see the love for her and the joy of her return, had brought grateful tears to her eyes. Those tears had dried, replaced with laughter and cheer as the celebration stretched out.

She was, by now, more than ready to slip away with Paya for a bit, let herself recharge from the excitement. It seemed a perfect moment to do so - even Link had been coerced to dance with Dorian's girls, the two of them dragging the Hero they considered an honorary brother into the fray.

Taking Paya's offered hand, Zelda stood and smiled back at her. "Think we'll get in trouble if we go up to the ruins? It's a lovely view there."

The demon slayer au where Paya is a descendant of the dragon breathing hashira Impa, who was in the sengoku period and Paya is the Taisho period and she’s besties with Mitsuri and they’re both ✨team getting flustered easily✨ and Paya learns the dragon breathing style. And she has a crush on Kyojuro.
