peashooters have a lot of potential for pharyngeal* jaws in my opinion-
*those things that mooray eels and the xenomorphs from the alien franchise have, that are also basically a second set of jaws inside of the head/throat/mouth
i mean, they already have the needed things for being able to shoot peas, so something like a extra jaw is like.... a pea with spikes that you can control and also retract back into your head- and it likely wouldn’t actually hinder their ability to shoot peas that much-
honestly, just imagine that-

thoughts on zomboss
i’m pretty sure that zomboss is some form of sociopath-
I mean- he comes off as verbally abusive and/or not caring about other’s well-being, esp in the bfn....
he also has a LOT of dictatorship-leader vibes in bfn as well. so, he’s prob keeping most in line via propoganda, and keeping the rest in line with fear or something- i mean... the plants aren’t going to spare a rouge zombie i think, esp if they dont know that the zombie’s gone rouge.
just a thought- and it may b that im just overthinking things.

Name: Chester Chomper
Debut: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
You know, I can’t say I’m a fan with the direction EA has taken Plants vs. Zombies. It’s nothing to do with the funny new plants or the funny new zombies, I love those guys! But obviously all the micro-transactions are a pretty big issue, as well as the poor balance that arises as a result of trying to make as much money as possible. This isn’t what George Fan wanted! This isn’t what any of us wanted!
…But occasionally, that hunger for money leads to weird cross-promotions, and weird cross-promotion characters are always the best characters. Take Chester Chomper, for instance! This isn’t just any, plain ol’ brand of man-eating plant, as lovely as that trope always is. This is a man-eating plant that specifically looks like Chester the Cheetah, the Cheetos mascot. Apparently it arose when “Crazy Dave accidentally planted a chunk of cheese in his Zen garden.” The Chester Chomper is described as “dangerously cheesy” and that “no one is sure where the sunglasses came from.” Everything about this cross-promotion is pure chaos and I love it.
Apparently if you plant cheese blocks, you get Cheeto plants! Look at this guy! Look at him and his terribly human teeth! This guy is apparently faster but less defensive than a regular Chomper but that’s not important, because the sheer comedic value of Chester Chomper is good enough in and of itself. Or is it?

Name: Chesterweed
Debut: Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
Because there’s more! The Chompers in the Garden Warfare games are equipped with different types of Spikeweed, and Chester Chomper gets the Chesterweed. Unlike Chester Chomper, which just accents the regular Chomper with Chester features, the Chesterweed just has an entire Chester head poking out of the dirt. What!!!!
It goes without saying that we’re getting our own cross-promotions. Remember to try delicious Prongles today!

my personal take on how orchids would work in any of the pvz shooter games
there are two main ways that i think they’d work out:
1. Glass cannon offense
Orchids irl are specalists to a very specific evironment. likewise, i think that orchids in a gw/bfn situation would be very fragile, and have low health to represent that.
However, using the bright colors and out-there appearances of orchids irl, they could aslo be very dangerous, in a reference to the natural phenomenon ‘Aposematism’ which by definition is; “advertising by an animal to potential predators that it is not worth attacking or eating”
they’d likely be a area control class, favoring hit and run and/or ambush tactics. they’d be weak against a group, but they could most likely deal with anyone who strays too far from the group on their own fairly easily. It is likely that one can also favor a kamikaze strategy, charging in and taking out as many as possible before dying. That would not be the best strategy though, due to the low health.
2. Weaking Support
the other path could be a support instead of a offense.  they’d still have the low health, and potentially have decent enough attack to fend off a enemy or two. They could be used as a intimidation, or perhaps, their abilities could be for group damage, simular to the soldier zombie class’ gas gernade thing.
they’d pick on the enemy’s health peice by peice from a distance, essentially weakening them for their teammates to get rid of easier. Perhaps a mid-range sniper? with a ability for a close range ‘stun’ perhaps, to make it easier for them to fight off anyone who comes to them specifically.
They likely would not be able to get any kills in a round, but they’d harry and keep picking away at the enemy’s health, perhaps even encouraging the zombie team to split up to avoid getting caught in the range of a orchid ability. And, if the zombies decide to take the orchid out, it would be easy to make traps for them, with the orchid using themself as bait, provided that the plant team is actually going to be helpful to their teammate.

OOC: I had an epiphany
So, remember the roof from PvZ1?
Remember how there was a ladder there?
Tumblr media
Y’know, that one down there?
That would’ve meant that… well…
Tumblr media
THE ZOMBIES ACTUALLY REACHED THIS POINT AND DECIDED TO JUST IGNORE THE DOOR AND CLIMB UP THE DAMN ROOF.
