random sagau idea..

mean!creator attends one of lyney and lynette’s shows one day. they both panic, jumping at the opportunity to make a good first impression in front of their almighty creator. they anxiously prepare themselves, pacing around the stage hours in advance.

they’ve never felt so nervous before a show before. they pride themselves on their magic shows, confident that they bring joy to all that attend. but when they saw that you reserved a seat, your worshippers suddenly felt a wave of insecurity slap them in the face.

what if you were displeased with what you see? will they be entertaining enough? should they do something special, in honor of you? or should they let you sit and relax rather than bringing attention to you? lyney and lynette discussed these thoughts at length before you arrived. they were both eager to please and entertain, hoping that the god they’ve dedicated their lives to will be impressed with their performance.

before the show begins, they search the crowd from behind the curtain. they’ve seen you from afar before. they often longingly gaze at your holy form, yearning to make you laugh or smile. they’ve never gotten the chance to see you up close or speak to you. the show would be their chance to make a good impression; possibly charming you and proving their worth as your acolytes.

they watched you as you sat at the top row, idly resting your face on your hand. they can’t keep their god irritated, so they must satisfy you. the siblings were overjoyed at the thought. seeing you happy with their performance? it would cement their status as the greatest magicians in teyvat. not only proving their skills, but also showing off that they have your approval. they were determined to wisely use their chance to please their creator.

the show begins, and lyney watches you as he introduces himself and his sister. he dedicates the show to you, bowing in appreciation. lynette, while appearing calm and composed, was just as anxious as her brother as she bowed with him.

looking up at you for approval, you seemed… apathetic. a bead of sweat appeared on their foreheads. did that mean you weren't pleased yet? no worries, the show just began after all.

with an array of flashy tricks, including some new ones created just for you, the two effortlessly captivated the audience—a typical feat for the magicians. but they only yearned for your applause. it’s nice to hear an entire crowd of people cheering for them, but it would be better if you were impressed.

but you weren’t. after every trick, the siblings glanced at your seat in the crowd. despite the difficulty of making out your figure through the bright lights, they could still see your uninterested expression. what were they doing wrong? why wasn’t their magic pleasing you?

it upset them both in different ways.

lyney considers himself the greatest magician in teyvat. his confidence is understandable, given the reputation he gained through his charm and skill. not only was your apathy a stab to his ego, but a sharp pain in his heart that yearns for you. it made him feel as if he was doing you a disservice. he's an entertainer, it’s the least he can do in return of the kindness you have graced all of teyvat with.

lynette often doesn’t care about being lauded for her skills. it’s lyney’s job to charm the audience. she isn’t even affected by the usual respectable people attending their shows, preferring to watch from the sidelines as lyney woos the guests. while normally nonchalant to the loud boom of the crowd’s applause, she found herself only craving yours. if she could please the creator, it would bring her the most joy she’s felt in years. it deeply upset her to see you cold and unresponsive to her and lyney’s magic. it’s the one time she genuinely hoped to impress someone, and she was failing? after everything she's been through, she found it difficult to find love and trust in her heart for another being other than her brother. you're the only one she wishes to repay for your companionship throughout her past. how could she have failed in her pursuit of your gratification?

but the show must go on. the magicians continued delighting the audience with their tricks, as you remained bored.

the show ended and the entire crowd left with smiles on their faces. all except for you. the siblings looked up at your seat to find that your nonchalance never faltered. in their delusional minds, they assumed that perhaps that could be a good thing. you weren't visibly upset, which means they didn’t disappoint you too severely.

but you weren’t smiling. not once throughout the show did you appear impressed, which worried the two. they were guessing that you were simply exhausted from your task as teyvat's creator, desperately clinging onto hope that they didn’t offend you.

you got up from your seat to leave, and the siblings shortly followed in hopes of asking for your input. they assumed they could introduce themselves and possibly find out what it is that you disliked about their performance. they would take your criticisms seriously and implement them as soon as possible. the creator’s wishes must be fulfilled, and they were eager to design a show that was to your liking.

running after you before you made your way out, lyney and lynette kneeled before introducing themselves.

lyney cleared his throat before speaking, “your grace! thank you for coming to our show. we were delighted by your presence, and sincerely hope that you’ll attend more in the future.”

there was a moment of silence before you replied. in the midst of the silence, lyney and lynette grew more flustered by your gaze. they’ve always heard of how amazing it was to be in your presence. as overjoyed as they were to finally have your attention privately, it was nerve-racking. did they look presentable? were their faces still flushed after hurriedly chasing after you? hopefully their image wasn’t crushed by their pathetic and desperate attempts at gaining your attention.

“…more shows?” you questioned.

lynette gulped. was that your subtle way of communicating that you weren’t interested in seeing them again? had her nightmare come to fruition?

lyney seemed to share the same thoughts as his sister. he took in a deep breath before asking finally asking you what had been lingering in their heads. “we simply wish to entertain you, your grace. if there was anything you disliked about our performance, i humbly request that you let us know immediately so we are aware of our mistakes. we only hope that you were impressed by what you witnessed.”

“ah, yes. well, i suppose it was… a bit entertaining to the audience. but i can’t tell, i was so restless, i fell asleep twice.” you sighed.

you said it so casually, as if you didn’t know it broke their hearts. the siblings felt their eyes well up with tears. they disappointed you to the point where you fell asleep at their magic show?

they should be angry at you, but instead, they are ashamed of themselves. what kind of acolytes are unable to please their god?

they’ve never felt the weight of failure until it was under your heavy gaze.

the siblings were aware that you weren’t obligated to display affection towards them. but they often dreamed of what it would feel like to be loved by you. their whole lives they’ve prayed to you. they grew up with stories of your bravery, intelligence, kindness, and power. how you’ve lifted the entirety of teyvat for thousands of years. you kept the siblings company in the darkest of times, and the thought of you was keeping them going even when they were on the brink of giving up.

when you descended, lyney and lynette watched with envy as others were under your gaze. other acolytes were being touched by you. some even praised. the siblings could only imagine that it was them instead.

but when they finally got the chance to show themselves off, they failed at hiding their incompetence. but it’s only natural, as they were only two out of the thousands that admired you. you have plenty of followers that would do anything if you commanded it. lyney and lynette aren’t archons, nor do they have thousands of years in their lifespan to worship you. yet they were somehow selfish enough to think it would be enough for your love.

but there is no honor among the thieves of generosity, and the robbers should be punished accordingly. you granted them the gift of your time and attention, and they failed at serving you what you craved.

“i am terribly sorry, your grace,” lyney choked back tears as he spoke, staring into the ground while his sister trembled in petrification. “it was not our intention to disappoint you.”

“disappoint me?” you laughed. “you didn’t disappoint me. i was exhausted due to my busy day. my apologies if i frightened you.”

in truth, you really were entertained by their magic show. you simply pretended to be let down, enjoying the sight of your acolytes scrambling to apologize, terrified that they would face your judgement. isn’t it endearing that their eager-to-please nature clouds their judgment, and all of your acolytes immediately seek your approval before they notice your mischievous actions?

lyney and lynette were no different. not once did the thought of you being in the wrong cross their minds. they both jumped at the opportunity to display their devotion and apologize, without stopping to identify whether they truly were wrong in the first place.

A/N: still a diehard sagau fan after all these years lmao. i made my kung lao self aware fics over a year ago inspired by sagau/sahsrau fics, and i was surprised by how much people liked it. so here i am with a version with bi-han. perhaps you guys may get another version of this with another mortal kombat character... maybe a character that just happens to be a sexy a-lister. (also?? is this like... SAMKAU?? self aware mortal kombat alternate universe?? can we make that a thing?? idk. i'm excited to keep writing this.. uh.. samkau?? stuff.)

- sub-zero was always your favorite character. when mortal kombat 1 was announced, you were overjoyed by seeing his inclusion on the roster, and his new design. you didn’t mind all the changes the new timeline made; you just wanted to have some fun and watch your favorite man kick some ass.

- you wanted to play the story mode as soon as possible before being spoiled by other fans on social media. but when you did, something strange seemed to happen with your favorite character.

- during the story, when you finally got to play as him in a later chapter, he was much more powerful than any other character so far. it's as if fights were over in an instant, with the enemies only needing one hit to fall. but you assumed it was just a harmless glitch. it was a new game and all, so it wouldn’t be abnormal for there to be some bugs here and there.

- but the more you played, the more conscious the game felt. not only was sub-zero the only character with strangely powerful abilities, but he was the only character you could play as. every time you tried to play as someone else, the game crashed. he also seemed to have voice lines when you went idle. if you let the game run while you left to take a break, you could hear bi-han through your headphones saying something along the lines of: "where do you think you’re going? you must come back."

- incredibly uncomfortable by these occurrences, you turned off the game, hoping it was just a glitch that'll be fixed overnight. but as the game was closed and you went to sleep, there was an emptiness on the other side of the screen.

- bi-han was at a loss for words. he felt an otherworldly presence being emitted nearby. he just couldn't put his finger on it, until you controlled him. his body didn't feel like his own. he felt you control his strikes and protect him from attacks by moving his body like a puppet on a string. despite the initial discomfort of losing self-control, it was still a warm, exhilarating feeling. he felt as if his force grew under your guidance. you made him feel stronger, and that's all he's ever wanted. but when your control disappeared, so did the warmth and power. he felt empty without you. his heart ached as your presence faded. you weren't completely gone, but it still upset him that you weren't guiding him anymore.

- especially when you shifted to guide kuai liang. how dare that failure of a brother take you away from him? and how could you leave him so easily, so quickly? he didn’t do anything wrong, so why leave him?

- he was fueled with a rage he never felt before. not just from the betrayal of his brother, but from the betrayal of you. a warm, advantageous figure that he never knew he needed, suddenly taken away once he got the chance to feel you. he had to fix this as soon as possible.

- he tried to guide you, just as you did for him. he did this by making sure only he could be controlled by you. nobody else can have his strength. with you by his side, his power will never be rivaled again. in order to convince you of this fact, he decided to show off a bit and defeat every opponent he faced within seconds. if he showed you how unstoppable you two can be, surely that’ll persuade you into never leaving him again…

- he thought his plan was working. until you powered your device off, and he was stuck in the cold abyss once more. bi-han is used to the cold. it was nothing new for him. but now that he’s finally gotten a taste of you, and felt you? he can’t stand the bitter, soulless atmosphere of his fictitious life anymore. without you, he has nothing. it’s tedious, and lonely. as much as he hates to admit it, he needs you. badly. desperately. he was your favorite, wasn't he? so why leave him? he did so much for you, to keep you from deserting him. he upgraded himself and downgraded everyone else, so you know he's the only one for you. he was clinging onto the hope that you’ll be impressed by his skills, and you won’t betray him again. but this time? he may just lose his mind. come back. you must come back to him.

if tomas and kuai liang were to fall in love with the same person, i feel as if kuai liang would notice first. they would both be subtly pining after you, with a deep desire to keep you protected and happy. but as much as tomas tries to hide it, his brother will be able to tell. kuai liang is more skilled at hiding his emotions, so it'd be difficult to tell that he is romantically interested in you as well.

kuai liang would notice their common interest immediately. just by observing the way his brother looks at you, laughs with you, and talks to you. he sees his brother interacting with you much more affectionately than anyone else. but kuai liang's bond with his brother is strong, so he wouldn't be mad about it. he would actually be quite happy for his brother and cheer him on from the sidelines. he'd step aside and give tomas the chance to court you, ignoring the heartache as he watched you two grow closer and closer. he gives up very easily, as he sees no point in competition with his own brother.

tomas probably wouldn't notice his brother's longing stares, or his particular interest in your well-being. tomas doesn't even bat an eye when kuai liang continues to ask how you're doing or if you needed anything. he assumes it's just out of the kindness of his heart.

that's why tomas is more vulnerable about how he feels and opens up to him one day. he had been waiting for the right moment to confess his feelings to you. being second in command for the shirai ryu is dangerous, and he understands that he could be seriously injured or even killed at any moment. that's why he believes he should be honest about his feelings and speak up before it is too late. he opens up to his brother the night before his confession, sharing his plan to officially court you. his vulnerability is met with encouragement from kuai liang, pretending he had no knowledge of tomas's feelings.

even though you were being sought after by both brothers, only one of them could be yours. tomas ends up winning your affections in the end, with no quarrel from kuai liang. even weeks later, as kuai liang's feelings for you are pushed away, there are still sparks ignited from the fire within his heart for you every now and then. he just hopes to douse that flame as soon as possible.

A/N: i got this idea while i was in the shower this morning blasting what is love by twice cuz i finally got around to the khaos reigns dlc yesterday and my interest in mk1 has been revived. also this took me 10 hours to write for some odd reason. also i've never written this many characters before in one part... please like and reblog i really am proud of this and hope you guys like it too <3 also you can tell the more i was writing the longer the paragraphs were getting

doesn't get jealous (he trusts you):

LIU KANG has full faith in your loyalty. he doesn't take it personally when someone flirts with you. he'll gladly step in if the person flirting with you isn't taking a hint, but overall, he isn't bothered. in fact, he's more concerned about your well-being than his. he'll comfort you after the encounter and ask if there's anything he can do to put your mind at ease.

KUAI LIANG would silently watch the interaction from a distance, waiting for the person to leave you alone. similar to liu kang, he trusts you and gives you the chance to defend yourself before he does. he's confident that you wouldn't leave him, but he still stays nearby in case you need his help. in the event that you do need his assistance in getting rid of the person, he wouldn't hesitate to teach them a quick lesson then evacuate the scene with you.

GERAS couldn't care less. in fact, he isn't surprised you would be hit on. you're physically and socially attractive, it makes sense that other people would attempt to court you. he trusts that you won't let the interaction go any farther. if the person persists or is disrespectful, he'll walk up to you two and bluntly state that you're taken, then leave immediately. he won't waste his time with assholes and perverts.

RAIDEN would feel a little awkward. he trusts you, so it's not that he's unhappy with you, but he feels uncomfortable for you. he's a very calm and civil man, so he usually tries to avoid confrontation. but when it comes to you? especially when the person is making you uncomfortable? he has no problem politely telling that person off and walking away with you. he'll later reassure you by reminding you that assholes and creeps will always be around, but so will he.

doesn't get jealous (because he gives you scary dog privileges):

KENSHI TAKAHASHI wouldn't feel jealous at all if someone were to hit on you. he knows his partner is wonderful, so of course other people are going to approach you. besides, he knows he looks a bit intimidating with his tattoos, muscles, and confident aura. weirdos that flirt with you will back off when they see kenshi casually put his arm around you as you talk to the person, as if he's daring them to try something. his years involved with the yakuza have made him fearless. he has witnessed the wrath of man many times, so he has no issue teaching another one a lesson if he must.

BARAKA is like a guard dog. with his physique and face? yeah, nobody is messing with you or even approaching you. he usually feels very guilty about this, advising you to leave him due to the embarrassment of being associated with him. but sometimes, his curse can be a blessing to ward off perverts. it fills him with a very rare sense of pride, being able to protect you just by standing by you.

GENERAL SHAO definitely gives you scary dog privileges. he's well-respected in outworld, so everyone usually respects you, his partner, as well. this can be a double-edged sword, however. while outworlders often avoid you out of respect, it is also out of fear of the general's wrath. it's hard for you to walk around anywhere without stares or people trembling in fear, afraid to upset you. not because they're intimidated by you, but because the general has made it very clear that if anyone (especially his soldiers) were to treat you with anything but respect, they'll get an axe to the head.

he's instilled this fear into everyone's head, so you aren't harassed when you are alone. the general is often busy with his own endeavors, so he likely won't be there to defend you instantly. that's why he is very strict with his soldiers when it comes to you. you won't need his immediate protection as long as he makes sure everyone follows his rigid commands.

REIKO, similar to the general, has earned respect among outworlders for his strength and tenacity. while you aren't as feared as you would be with the general, reiko still has his ways of making sure you aren't bothered. because unlike the general, he has slightly more time on his hands to accompany you in your free time. when strolling around outworld, it is not uncommon to get a few stares, but reiko is brave enough to stare back at people with the fury of a true warrior. he has the scars on his back and calluses on his hands to prove his fighting spirit that nobody is reckless enough to challenge.

QUAN CHI is either hated, feared, or respected by everyone. nobody is going to mess with you as long as he is around. with his sorcery, he'll have no problem cleaning up the rodents that attempt to flirt with you. you won't even get the chance to reject anyone, since he's always ready to harm anyone that even dares to look at what is his.

BI-HAN, similar to the general, has already warned everyone in the lin kuei of the consequences that come with disrespecting you. he laid out many rules on how they should interact with you. if anyone among the clan dares to break these terms he drilled into their heads, they will be met with a harsh punishment. he won't tolerate rulebreakers.

and that's what he did on the day someone broke his rules and drunkenly flirted with you. the problem is, he would also be angry at you. bi-han firmly believes that you should be strong enough to protect yourself when he isn't there. if the person that was hitting on you starts to go a bit too far, and you are unable to stop them, bi-han ends up blaming you for their actions. despite having a myriad of punishment methods in his mind, he still wants you to fend for yourself anyway. he is upset for weeks after the incident. it is unclear whether bi-han is angry at himself and taking it out on you, or if he is truly delusional enough to blame you for an incident you never asked for.

gets jealous, but handles it rationally:

JOHNNY CAGE is used to people hitting on him. he's sexy, and an actor, which is a dangerous combo to date. he's made it very clear in private that he would never leave or cheat on you for someone else, and he ignores the numerous amounts of supermodels and fellow actors that attempt to date or sleep with him. you've gotten used to it overtime, as you already discussed your boundaries with him. but you two have never discussed what to do if you are the one being hit on.

if someone were to flirt with you in front of him, he'd butt into the conversation, putting his arm around you and saying: "yeah, my partner's smokin' hot, aren't they?"

he'd start to brag about you and the person would probably get annoyed and walk away. you can't tell if johnny was jealous and purposefully drove them away, or if he just wanted to use the opportunity to talk about you at length. perhaps it was both. you'll never know.

KUNG LAO is infamous for being cocky and prideful. some find his confidence charming, others dislike him and read his personality as arrogant rather than confident. so how could kung lao possibly be jealous? well, the answer is: he isn't. or at least that's how he appears.

he's the type of guy to love showing you off. he's protective, but proud. he'll walk around with his arm wrapped around your waist, with his head held high knowing you only belong to him and nobody else. which is why his ego is so hurt when someone has the audacity to hit on you. did they not clearly see that you're together? kung lao is more personally offended than possessive over you. he won't visibly get angry or anything, just mildly annoyed. he'll become touchier, giving you more kisses and compliments than usual. if you questioned his behavior, he'd respond with a playful: "what? am i not allowed to love my partner?" emphasizing the latter end of the sentence for everyone in the room to hear.

gets jealous, and does not handle it rationally:

SHANG TSUNG, similar to kung lao, is prideful enough to enjoy showing you off. but shang tsung tends to be sassier and hold grudges. while he lets you express yourself and wear/do whatever you want, he didn't expect it to backfire when someone ends up being attracted to you and attempting to court you. but he doesn't do anything about it. he stands from afar and waits for your conversation to be over.

you reject the person and go back to him, but shang tsung would spitefully ignore you. he even started responding to you with sassy quips after you were hit on. you could attempt to make amends with him by trying to initiate a conversation, until this little shit rolls his eyes and says something along the lines of: "why don't you go have fun with your partner?"

you'll never know if he's simply overdramatizing his jealousy to hide it, or if he's just being his usual petty self to get a reaction out of you.

TAKEDA TAKAHASHI is a young man focused on his endeavors. it's not that he doesn't care about you, but he (unfortunately) must keep his distance from you sometimes. your relationship is secret for the sake of your safety. nobody knows that you two are together, so it doesn't surprise him that you are flirted with every now and then. takeda does, in fact, feel jealous. he's not just jealous that they get to openly show their affection towards you, but he's also a bit insecure at times. he knows you won't leave him so easily, but there's still the nasty thought that creeps in the back of his head every now and then, telling him that you deserve better and he can't give you the love you deserve.

TOMAS VRBADA is usually a confident man. he may be kind and generous, but that doesn't make him weak. he's been a hardworking fighter since childhood. he's garnered an impressive amount of experience and intelligence regarding the battlefield over time. but romantically? he doesn't have as much experience. you're probably one of, if not the first relationship he's ever been in.

so, when you're hit on, he isn't quite sure what to do. he understands that the person flirting with you probably just doesn't know you're not single. tomas would speak up and calmly mention that you're already taken. the person that was flirting with you would scoff after seeing tomas, telling you something along the lines of: "him? really? you could do better." instead of causing a scene, tomas ignores the person and leaves with you.

but hours later, it still bothers him, even though he pretends it doesn't. he thinks about your relationship and wonders if you really could do better. he tries his best to be as loving as possible towards you, despite his inexperience in romantic relationships. but with his cluelessness, conflict with the lin kuei, and trying to build up the shirai ryu? he doesn't have a lot of time for you, so he understands if you wanted to leave him. it's a thought that will haunt him for days if you don't notice his behavior and ask him about it.

SYZOTH has always been secretly insecure during your relationship. he fears that you may leave him due to his zaterran blood. plus, after his family was killed by shang tsung, he has been afraid of losing you like he lost them. sometimes he fears he is too clingy, and other times he fears he isn't attentive enough. it makes him feel as if he isn't enough for you. these fears are only enabled by someone flirting with you. his mood would immediately turn sour after witnessing that interaction, until you reject that person and put them in their place. as appreciative as he is for your loyalty, (and flustered to hear how much you care about him) he still can't shake his anxieties away.

you'll likely have to comfort him and reassure him that you will always stay with him, not bothered by his struggles. you must be the one to bring it up though, because syzoth is too afraid to admit that he is jealous. he'll keep it bottled up until you notice his behavior.

ZEFFEERO's pride gets in the way of admitting his true feelings most of the time. you've helped make him more comfortable being vulnerable, but it's only natural that the high mage refuses to admit when he's jealous. it was hard enough to court you; even harder to watch as someone attempts to court you for themselves. it annoys him to watch someone think they can just flirt with you. it enrages him even more when they refuse to take no for an answer and persist in their catcalling. with his blood boiling, he struggles to contain his emotions and stop himself from resorting to violence.

after the incident is over and you dealt with it on your own, he refuses to leave your side in public ever again. whatever gathering or meeting you must attend, he'll be there too. that way, it'll ease his anxieties and make sure you are safe and comfortable. even though you've shown you're capable of taking care of yourself and staying loyal to him, his jealousy drives him to believe that you need him.

a secret fifth worse thing:

HAVIK... yeah you probably guessed he'd have an entire category to himself. it is very difficult to tell how havik feels when someone else flirts with you. is he angry at them for trying to take you? not quite. his beliefs are bent on freedom, so it isn't like you're tied down to him in any way. but at the same time, he can't help but feel a bit hurt, maybe even a bit betrayed at the thought of you leaving him. he doesn't have anyone else. he's been forced to fight for himself after a painful past in seido, then seeking retribution ever since. nobody has condoned his acts since drowning its capital. anyone that isn't on his side is considered his enemy. you're the last person he considers an ally.

THE HARPY is the one that lusts after you the most. she's raunchy, easygoing, and mischievous. plus, of all the creatures, the harpy is the bluntest. she’ll gleefully and casually mention to you all of her wicked fantasies. every morning, she flies around trying to find you, and once she does, she goes on and on about the things she’s imagined you two doing. the other creatures are far more ashamed of their urges, thinking that they’re dirtying your image as their monarch. but the harpy? she doesn’t give a flying fuck if you’re the ruler or a peasant. she’s imagined your body in thousands of ways, none of them have to do with your status.

even though you have always rejected her advances, she’s always going to keep trying. she’s convinced that you’re just shy and in denial of your feelings. she’s convinced that you’re destined to be hers. she started doing outlandish things to catch your attention and get you out of your shell. she started physically touching you more, such as kissing your cheek and laying on your lap. she thinks you're in love with her, no matter how many times you blatantly tell her that you're not interested.

she revels in the other creatures’ jealousy and hatred of her. she knows the others only think of her as a dirty harlot, ruining the valiant image of their ruler. but she couldn't care less about what others think. she barely even cares what you think. she knows what she wants, and nobody will stop her from getting it. not even you.

THE FAIRY is the most envious of them all. fairies are known for being small and weak. he knew you weren't going to like him. that's why he desperately tried to get your approval the moment he met you. he always leaves you small gifts and watches from afar as you collect them, hoping that it'll be something that you enjoy. he knows that pixies are generally the ones that leave small gifts, but he had to find some way to gain your favor. he's only 6 inches tall and could easily be stomped on by the other creatures. so that means he isn't strong, or incredibly intelligent, or immortal. he has nothing going for him compared to the others, so all he can do is be as kind as possible to you.

deep down, he's aware that he doesn't stand a chance. but he keeps trying. he knows he loves you more than any of the other creatures can say. he would be kind to you. he would follow your every command. he would do whatever you want him to do. he just wants you. it doesn't matter how you treat him or what you do to him. sure, if you hurt him, he won't be very happy about it, but he'll still be grateful that you even looked his way and gave him a chance.

he's usually very friendly and giving towards others, and especially to you, but behind closed doors, he's cruel towards those that you show love and affection to. he knows it's wrong. he knows you would probably be mad at him for his behavior. but he can't help it. everyone else is so much bigger and stronger than he is. deep down, he knows they could protect and take care of you better than he can. so, his inferiority complex shifts into anger that he takes out onto them. and if they happen to snitch on him, he'll just start fake crying. you'd comfort him and tell him everything's okay, because you trust him! he's the one that is so small, gentle, and always gifts you, so he'd never do anything wrong...

THE VAMPIRE has a strategy to winning you over. she's one of the eldest, most intelligent and calculated creatures in the village. over the course of the couple thousand years that she's been alive, she never had any romantic interest in anyone until she met you. you changed something in her. she's always been very formal, and polite, but you awoke something new in her. something... possessive and perhaps even controlling. after meeting you, she suddenly had the urge to take care of you. as she unfortunately cannot be in the sun, so she watches you from afar. follows you from a distance, making sure you are safe. she's ready to step in as soon as she needs to, in order to protect you.

she's more likely to take a friendlier, respectful approach compared to others. unlike the vulgar harpy, or the overly submissive fairy, she's more formal and respects your authority as their leader. every night, she walks around your house and if you happen to come out, she pretends she was "on her way home" and says that it "would be a lovely time to go for a walk" and you assume she was telling the truth.

the best part about having a plan such as hers, is that the other creatures have no idea that she's interested in you. they go to her for advice and try to ask for her help in courting you. they trust her, not knowing she'll ruin them once she knows their plans in wooing you. and they'll never know that it was her, because she's the beautiful older woman in the village that has never caused any problems! everyone loves her. and soon, you will too.

she's patient. everyone else is in such a rush to make you theirs immediately, but she knows you're worth waiting for. she knows that in the end, she'll come out on top, and you'll be hers. all she must do is wait.

THE ELF is one of the shyest. she's looked down upon in the village for being too timid and messy. with frizzy hair, pointy ears, and a dreadful fashion sense, she stays in her dingy little shack in the woods, crafting weapons and houseware to sell to the villagers. every month, she begrudgingly makes her visit to the village's market to display and sell her things, then go straight back home. she dreads seeing others, feeling safe only in the solitude of the quiet woods.

she always knew of a human monarch ruling over the land, but she didn't bother investigating for herself. she wanted to just make and sell her goods, then lurk in the outskirts of the village in peace. but one day, you just happened to be at her usual selling place.

she dropped all her items in a few baskets, standing by ready to give them away. that's when you approached, offering a generous sum of money to purchase items that were rumored to "be of high quality" from the other villagers. the second she saw you, her heart almost stopped. she knew the monarch was supposed to be beautiful, but she wasn't aware you were going to look that good. she quickly and awkwardly wrapped the items in leaves, handing them to you and feeling her heart skip a beat when your fingers brushed against hers. she thanked you, bowing her head so you wouldn't see how red her pale skin became. you simply walked away without saying anything else.

she replayed that moment over and over again in her head on her journey back home. should she have said something else? should she have refused your money or given you more items? should she have wrapped your items in something fancier than random leaves she picked from the forest? god, you probably think she's a loser now. you probably dislike her just as much as everyone else does. she maybe even offended you, because she didn't recognize you at first.

she spent that whole night rethinking her entire life choices. and the night after that. and the night after that. and that whole week. and the next week. then the next. until it was time to sell her things again. this time, she would be prepared for your arrival.

she spent that month lurking around the village, overhearing the things people said about you. she never knew there was so much competition to win your heart! she'd definitely have to study your interests to win you over.

every day, she peeked into your castle and carefully inspected your bedroom. she studied your clothes, hair, accessories, decorations, and more. she took note of it all, storing it in her memory to use later in order to impress you and show that she would be the best candidate for your affections.

when the day came for her to publicly return to the village, she made sure her hair was nicely put together, instead of the usual frizzy look. she made sure her clothes weren't so tattered and dirty, and she was wearing your favorite color. she made sure her goods were clean and wrapped nicely in cloth that she sewed herself, based on the designs on your castle's carpet.

she waited and waited. the usual customers came by, surprised that she seemed more put together-- but she didn't spare them a single glance. she was just looking for you. where were you? did you not like her goods? or maybe her initial thoughts were correct: her first impression was so terrible that you hate her, and you'll never see her again.

it was late at night, way past her curfew. she was packing her things ready to return home and cry herself to sleep after you didn't show up. until she finally spotted you in the distance, walking next to the vampire lady.

she felt her face go red in embarrassment. what was she even thinking? of course you're into someone else. she spent an entire month obsessing over you to the point where she mended her appearance to impress you and maybe get you to spend more time with her. but it was all for naught, wasn't it?

but maybe... she can keep trying. she put in so much effort. she tried so hard to EARN your approval, instead of trying to seduce you like that old ass vampire. she's never felt this way for anyone before. she hates everyone else. she hates talking to people, spending time with people. they've never liked her anyway. but you didn't hate her. you just purchased her goods with an incredible amount of money and never insulted her or raised a single finger on her. she'll never forget that. she'll always be grateful for that. in return, she'll make herself better for you. she'll change, and you'll be nice to her again... maybe even love her just as much as she loves you... right?

THE MERMAN is one of the cutest, yet the most codependent and manipulative of them all. he's just a defenseless merman; he can't go on land! you'll have to visit him every day and talk to him, or else he'll go mad. you can't leave him alone for a single day, because he has no other friends. that would be so rude of you.

every day, he sits and waits for you, posing prettily on the biggest rock on the beach. if anyone were to flirt or try to talk to him, he'd usually roll his eyes and swim away. he has a bit of a reputation for being the most handsome creature out of everyone else in the village. but no matter how many villagers attempt to charm him, none of them have ever caught his eye. in fact, they often leave the beach crying in despair after he rejects them with no remorse or kindness. he'll insult them and bluntly tell them he would never be interested in them.

hi there!! i’ve been browsing your blog and i really like your writing as a fic writer myself ^3^ i wanted to ask — do u have any inspirations for writing or for the style in which you write in general? are there any works of yours that you specifically loved writing?

hello!! first of all, thank you ur so kind🫶 second of all, i don’t really have an inspiration, or a certain style that i go for. i just try to write what i hope people will find comforting or entertaining in some sort of way. it depends on if it’s hcs or an actual oneshot. if it’s hcs, i focus on making it more comforting to the reader, maybe even a bit humorous. if it’s a oneshot, i try to make it more entertaining as if you’re reading an actual book.

and as for works i loved writing, i was digging thru my work and i realized that i’ve never loved writing any of them. that’s the main reason why i’ve been writing less frequently. i don’t hate my work, i just feel like there’s not as much heart or soul into it these days. i often write for my followers, not really for myself. i write requests and don’t feel confident about it, but i post it anyway because i think to myself, “well, i can’t keep them waiting any longer!” and i see the kind comments, reblogs, and likes flood my notifications and i’m flattered that people enjoy my work, but i’ve been at a loss. i kept going because i thought, “i don’t really like what i write, but if everyone else likes it then surely it’s good?”

when i realized this, i took a break. i haven’t written anything in a while, hoping to find that inspiration again. i believe i have some ideas i’m excited to share soon. i cooked something that i genuinely like, and i'll share in an hour or so. hint hint: they’re more yandere ocs, but a bit different. perhaps even… cooler.

BAYANI is utterly clueless on the topic of physical affection. he's completely inexperienced when it comes to anything romantic in general. let's say you suddenly curled up to him while you two watched a movie. he froze and didn't know what to do. his anxieties drove him mad enough to distract him from the movie. should he put his arm around you? where do his legs go? should he lay his head against yours? your comfort is his top priority, so he'd gleefully mold himself into whatever position makes you happy without any regard for his own enjoyment. but should he directly ask you what position you favor? would it paint him as stupid to not already know of your preferred cuddling positions? his worst nightmare is looking like a fool before your eyes.

but as his overthinking worsened, you simply wondered why he froze and took his stillness as a sign that he was uncomfortable. you scooted away from him, and he frowned. did he do something wrong? oh crap, he really did embarrass himself in front of you. maybe he should speak up about it and ask why. if you broke up with him because of it, at least he'd know why.

A/N: woah hey guys... it's been a week.. oops. but hey i'm posting the requests... slowly... but it's only slow bc i'm constantly going back and changing things so i'm never really satisfied with my work smh. also if this does well i'll do the s3 and s4 men. btw i'm so sorry lee's was short idk what else to write for him.

let's say you went on a run for supplies, but it went wrong. you were attacked by walkers, and you just barely survived without getting bit.

LEE would stay calm. or at least, he'd appear calm. it was mostly for your sake, because he didn’t want you to panic. he'd seen plenty of injuries at that point, so he was quite desensitized to blood and all kinds of wounds. he was still worried about you, but he was just relieved that you were alive. after the incident, he allows you to continue going on runs and doesn’t fuss over you. he believes that you're strong enough to handle yourself. he isn't going to baby you after one little incident, but he's definitely going to start asking you if you need his help. if you say no, he'd respect that.

KENNY on the other hand, was panicked. he saw you unconscious with blood everywhere. he was the first one running over to you to find out what happened. he immediately checked for a bite, even after you reassured him that you didn’t have one. once he saw that you weren’t bitten, he was still panicked anyway. he was angry. he was desperate to find someone to blame rather than admit how terrified he was to lose you. you could've died out there. you should've been more careful. he should've been there. why wasn't he there? he should've protected you. the person with you should've prevented this. the person with you should've helped you. his anger wasn’t diminished until he saw you healed and walking around again. he masks his sadness with anger and often doesn't know how to control his emotions, but at the end of the day, he always remembers that the important thing is that you are safe. and you were never allowed to go on a run without him again.

BEN had no clue what to do. he was convinced that you were going to die. usually, he'd think a little more rationally when someone in the group is injured. he may be young, but over the course of the apocalypse, he's garnered a small bit of medical knowledge. he's aware that a simple accident isn't enough to kill someone. but when it comes to you, all logic is thrown out the window due to how much he cares about you. when he saw you bloody and weakened, he was terrified. he begged whoever was taking care of you to do their best. he stayed by your side as much as he could. he barely ate or slept until you were healed. once you were finally healed, he swore to make sure you never left his sight again. he's aware that you're stronger than him and you're capable of taking care of yourself, but he'd be damned if he lets you get injured again. he knows he isn't the strongest guy around, so there's not much he can do anyway, but after your accident, he started to get paranoid when he didn’t see or hear you after a short amount of time.

LUKE was incredibly worried when he found out you were hurt, and he rushed to carlos to make sure you were okay. he trusts carlos and he knew that you were in good hands, but he still needed to see you in order to know you were okay. once he saw that you were alive and not bitten, his worries quickly washed away. he confident that you can handle yourself, so it was just a little accident. but to be sure, he stayed by your side to tend to all of your needs and acted as your personal butler as you were healing. but there was still that nasty thought that crept into the back of his mind: the thought that you could've died. but he shook it off, not wanting to think about it. as long as you aren't alone on your runs, he isn't worried at all. he knows you can handle yourself. but if you can't, he would gladly be your knight in shining armor and take care of you.

with BI-HAN, he'd hate for you to be clingy while he is working. he has an entire clan to take care of, and his stress was worsened after kuai liang and tomas's betrayal. even though you may be his spouse, his main goal will always remain with the lin kuei and taking control of earthrealm. but in private, you could be physically affectionate or talk to your heart's desire.

he's not going to reciprocate your affections, though. he's not used to the concept of romance, especially from someone as vulnerable as you. his entire life he was trained to be cold and ruthless. sure, he grew up with kind brothers, but he saw their friendly nature as weakness. he'll often criticize you for being open with your feelings, but that's only because that was what he was taught. he may behave as if he resents your attachment, but he secretly enjoys the domesticity. it delights him that you are so devoted to him. his hatred for his former brothers grows every day due to their betrayal, so having you around him softens his temper, as he requires reassurance that you aren't going to turn on him. (he'll never admit that, though.) he also doesn't mind when you follow him around as long as you do not disrupt his duties or make a fool out of him. keep your affections private, and you'll stay his. you wouldn't want him to punish you for misbehaving in front of the entire clan, would you?

KUAI LIANG is far more accepting of your behavior than his colder brother. he understands that you're clingy because you care about him, so he tries to make an effort to reciprocate your affections whenever he can. but he often worries for your safety as his spouse. he worries that the lin kuei could target you if they find out about your love. you're free to be clingy, but you must keep it private.

he believes your love is one of the last good things he has left in his life. after bi-han's betrayal, his life has been one of little to no rest. having you by his side keeps his anxieties at bay for a short amount of time. you can talk to him as much as you want, and he won't interrupt you unless it's important. he would listen to your thoughts without judgement. he may question you, but he'll never judge. he may not be as talkative as you are, because he tries to show you how he feels with actions rather than words. but he still manages to keep up with you because he loves you. he's grateful to have some happiness in his dangerous life. that happiness is you.

TOMAS is similar to his brothers as he does not wish for your affections to be public, for safety reasons. however, he makes it very clear that he is appreciative of your clingy nature and never fails to turn beet red when you hug him. while he is busy building the shirai ryu, he has much more free time than his brothers. he enjoys going on walks with you and hearing you talk for hours. he stays engaged and asks questions and laughs along at your jokes, even if they aren't funny. he isn't as energetic as you are, but he attempts to reciprocate your energy the best he can. he grew up with bi-han's harsh criticisms and kuai liang's gentle guidance, but he's never had someone always excited to see him like you. you never fail to put a smile on his face and brighten a dark day.

KENSHI is now a government agent, so he often comes home to you at different times every night. he feels guilty for making you wait for him so late at night, but his concerns wash away the moment you run to hug him. he has a dangerous job, and he can handle himself despite losing his vision, but it doesn't stop him from worrying about you every time he leaves the house. just like the lin kuei trio, he wants to keep your relationship private, so you aren't hunted down like he is. he feels bad that you can't have a normal relationship with him, and it has gotten you in a few arguments, since he believes you deserve better. but ultimately, it's always worked out in the end when you reassure him that you're happy with him and nobody else. he doesn't care that you're a bit clingy, he appreciates that you care about him. it breaks his heart when he has to push you away for his job, but he just wishes to protect you, since your relationship is the best thing that's ever happened to him.

ooooo i have a lot to say. i have been WAITING for someone to ask this

so if you scroll down my acc you’d naturally assume i prefer writing about bayani cuz i have more posts about him, but i’d say i like them both equally. maybe victor slightly more.

the reason why i don’t write about victor often is because i feel like i don’t have a good grasp on what i want his character to be, and for the longest time i wasn’t sure how i wanted to introduce him properly.

he’s inspired by characters like patrick bateman from american psycho, and coriolanus snow from the hunger games. victor is the type of guy that is the epitome of what the average person wants in a partner. he’s tall, rich, educated, attractive, his parents appear to love him, he has many friends, everyone likes him. but he’s a sadistic asshole. an insecure, controlling, possessive asshole. he has no love in his heart for himself or the people around him. he’s intelligent, but manipulative. he’s the type of man to always get whatever he wants and nobody can stop him. i’ve been having trouble the past couple of months thinking about how i wanted to introduce these traits, because i think he’s far more complex than bayani.

don’t get me wrong tho, bayani is fun as hell. he’s the complete opposite of what the average person looks for in a partner. he’s short, he’s a college dropout, poor, he has a shitty job (prob mcdonald’s lmfao), shitty apartment, he has no friends and his parents have hated him ever since he was born.

that’s the main reason why he’s so attached to popstar! reader. he’s willing to do anything for their approval, because he’s terrified of being thrown away like dirt. his whole life nobody paid attention to him. popstar!reader does, though. even if it’s violent. he’d accept every kick, every punch. because he thinks it’s better than being ignored. he’s quite delusional and believes he’s doing an honorable service as popstar!reader’s punching bag. and if they were to show him affection instead, he’d be incredibly flustered because he isn’t used to it. he loves it, but he believes he doesn’t deserve their love, and attempts to repay popstar!reader in any way he can.

back to victor tho: i know i’m dropping lots of lore bombs right now and i’m starting to deviate from the question so i apologize BUT i just have a lot i’ve been wanting to say.

i think victor doesn’t truly love popstar!reader. it’s lust. it’s desire. but not love. victor’s a selfish man. growing up, he was the only child and heir for his family’s company. he was raised with money. he always got what he wanted. and he had the brains to make up for his spoiled nature. so when he didn’t get what he wanted, he’d always find a way to hurt someone else to get it.

i’m not quite sure why victor is the way he is. is it because his parents gave him more money than love, which drove him to hate them when he grew up? or is it because ever since he was a child, he was always glorified and trained to see everyone else as below him? we may never know.

what i do know is: victor likes popstar!reader because it’s a challenge for him. popstar!reader is one of the most desired people in the world. he likes having something nobody else can have. he likes stalking them and making sure they’re safe and happy. not exactly because he cares about their wellbeing, but because he’s quite delusional and believes he’s an amazing man for doing so. that's why he believes he's the only man for them. he’s twisted because he believes he is doing nothing wrong.

but hey, even i’m a sucker for an asshole-turned-romantic. so maybe someday victor will see the error in his ways and learn that he isn’t the center of the universe. maybe someday victor may truly fall in love with popstar!reader rather than teasing and toying with them as a possession of his. idk. we’ll see.

there was one concert that bayani unfortunately couldn’t attend. so he simply watched it through a fan’s livestream online. that’s how he noticed another popstar on stage with you. the crowd went wild and started screaming. the arena shook with the vibrations of your fans. the popstar with you started to sing and dance next to you. bayani was always jealous of anyone that got to be around you when he couldn’t, but this was different. the popstar on the stage with you was rumored to be dating you. fans on the internet had been speculating about your relationship for months, claiming that you two were “soulmates” and “secretly dating.”

it made bayani’s blood boil. but he knew it was bound to happen at some point, since you would often rant to him about how suffocating fame could be. he knew it wasn’t your fault. he wasn’t mad at you at all. he knew you still cared about him.

the minute you arrived home from the concert, bayani ran up to you and grabbed onto your waist, clutching it desperately.

“was what i saw real? are you with that popstar now? are you saying the rumors i saw online were true? i tried to ignore them because i know how your fans can be, but still…” bayani babbled, crying as he spoke and his words slowly became unintelligible.

whether you were interested in the popstar or not didn’t matter. bayani would be on his knees, pleading for an explanation. he would spiral into a pit of self-deprecation, thinking he wasn’t good enough for you, so you went off with someone more attractive and more talented than him. he wouldn’t blame you at all. he wouldn’t be mad at you at all. he’d be mad at himself for not pleasing you enough.

if you weren’t interested in the popstar and it was simply a publicity stunt, you would have to gently hold bayani in your arms to calm him down and explain. he would be SO relieved. he’d still be upset, though. he would be relieved that you’re still interested in him, but he’d also be jealous someone got to kiss and hold you in front of millions of people. bayani would never tell you that, though. he’d try to suck it up and pretend that he’s cool with it, but you can tell he’s really upset (he’s a terrible liar) and you would have to reassure him that you’ll never do it again.

it'd take about a week for him to get agitated. he'd wonder what he did wrong, and try to ignore his insecurities by pushing them on you. instead of drowning in his sorrow, he'd turn it into anger and blame you. you're the one being unreasonable, he did nothing wrong. of course he doesn't believe that, but that's what he would convince himself. he would rather take his anger out on you, the love of his life, rather than admit how unhappy he is with himself and how he treats others.

as for bayani, i confirmed a few posts ago that he's filipino so i imagine him to have tan skin and brown eyes, maybe short, black hair. in the "obsessed" story i mentioned that he's a short king (shorter than 5'5. he's polly pocket sized) and i never mentioned it in any posts, but i personally imagine him to be slightly chubby and young-looking, cuz he's about 20-25 (since i mentioned in the yandere alphabet that he already graduated highschool a while ago.)

as for victor, i never mentioned any of his traits so you can imagine him however you want! but me personally, i think of him as slightly older than bayani so he has sharp, long features. i also like to think of him like a vampire emo dude, so he has pale skin, long, black hair and tons of piercings all over his body. he's also quite tall, at least 6'2 in my head.
