Hey, I just wanted to pop in and tell you to take all the time you need with tgp. It is your story, and it will take the time it needs to be a story that you want to tell while also bringing you joy and fulfilment.

There will of course no doubt be assholes who demand "content" or are mad it's taking "too long"—and you have every right to block them whenever you feel safe and comfortable to go on your main blog.

This is your story and it can take years, or decades, to be what it is, and that's okay.

And last but not least I'm proud of you for scrapping and restarting when you realised it wasn't working. As a fellow writer I know how hard of a decision that can be, the guilt and the shame when it involves other people too. You did the right thing, no matter what anyone says—You gotta put yourself and your joy first, this is your project, and you shouldn't have to suffer over it.

i'll be real i hold a lot of regret over posting about tgp in public as early as i did, because while the community has been nothing but wonderful and i am very grateful for all the support i've received, it's also made me think about tgp more like a community project rather than just my own if that makes sense </3

while i feel bad about the way i did it (and am technically still doing it given that i have still not touched my main blog and i'm not sure when i will oops) taking a step back from social media has been a huge weight off my chest and i feel much better about tgp's future now :]

again, thank you for the kind words, i definitely needed this reminder and i'm sure i will again in the near future hahaha
