My name is Emily, I have a B.A. in Zoology from the University of Montana, and worked at the Reptile Zoo in Monroe, WA. I've kept reptiles since the age of 10, and am enamored with their elegant yet primitive beauty. I loved working in a zoo surrounded by a plethora of reptiles, and being able to educate the public about their natural beauty and awesome abilities. This year I will be breeding Ball Pythons, and hopefully Diamond Pythons, while expanding my collection. Follow me along as I learn, love, and share my passion about these beautiful animals!

Found this Crowned Snake thanks to its bright orange belly. They are quite common in this area and love hanging out in the thick pine needle debris that blankets the forest floor.

That’s cool to know! Thanks for the info!

This guy hangs around our back patio and side door, and is easily recognizable by his crooked tail. Here he’s warming himself on the side of the house, currently about 50F outside.
