Marty started out after their doctorate as a self-proclaimed and very ill-advised "hero", using xeir skills in robotics and sense of showmanship to attempt to fight crime vigilante-style for clout as 'Techfly'. But the world xey live in is already full of magic and mad science to some extent, and anyone trying to be a hero is quickly recognized as what they are- an attention-seeking and often very destructive weirdo. Marty was this many-fold, often disrespectful to the autonomy of those around xem, dangerous, and VERY self aggrandizing.

It wasn't long before xey embraced outright villainy.

My 2023 art year in review! All things considered- life changes, working full time, all in all, it was a very productive year. It was another one where I did a lot of experimenting, a lot of trying new things out, and even on less productive months like September and December, I still made something I could be proud of. and of course this doesn't count the writing, the sewing, the crafts, animation, anything else I've done. I have had my rough spots, but I'm generally happy with what I've created in the last twelve months and look forward to doing even more in the future.
