I might have to take a break since some things have happened irl. Long story short, my father got a DUI after driving drunk from a Thanksgiving party with some family and has to go to court on Monday. I’m not sure if this is the first DUI he’s gotten, so there’s a possibility he might go to jail.

Mal, do you believe in redemption? That for an example a Rick that harmed those who loved can be redeemed? Or in your vision they're unredeemable for their acts and should only suffer the consequences?

“I… that…” Mal takes a moment to sigh and collect his thoughts. “I’m not an optimist, and I would like believe in redemption if it’s possible as an option.“

“Only if they want to repent, that they feel guilt over their actions, but… if he- they never feel any sort of regret or guilt for their actions, redemption isn’t possible for someone like them.” He stares distantly off into the distance.

Mal, what you truly consider evil?

You ever looked to someone's eyes and felt FEAR and pure well, not pun intended, malice coming out of them?

“Evil is just a concept made to label actions that are considered atrocious. It lurks everywhere and in everyone.”

Mal, question, does the means justify the ends?

Like for example, assuring Mortys are safe and not mistreated anymore, is okay when you need to kill others in the process?

For you, when does it cross the line if it does?

“That….I won’t lie and say it doesn’t. The means is what determines the end after all. Morality of an act isn’t outright, it relies on the result and the consequences of the action.” Mal pauses, fingers picking idly at the ends of his gloves.

“Imagine this scenario, say it so happens that a Rick was abusing not only the Morty, but other family members as well.” His hands stop, his uncovered eye focused in on his hands as his mind drags him back to a memory.

“Now one of the family members killed the Rick to protect the Morty who was being harshly treated. Would you say that killing that Rick was justified if it got the Morty as well as the rest of the family out of that situation?”

He turns his chair and glances out the window. “I don’t know where I draw the line until I’m faced with a dilemma that requires me to choose. I’m not even sure if I would be strong enough to make that choice. I’m not like my sister who’s be able to act without a thought to protect someone she cares about.”

Mal do you have your own personal guards or something similar to avoid murder attempts?

"I do, I can't disclose specific details, but there is always a group of guards on stand by, whether or not you see them."

Malice, do you prefer coffee, tea, juice or water?

"I prefer coffee, but recently I've been drinking matcha tea as a substitute.”

Do you feel angry when other Ricks or even Mortys assume you need a Rick to be in your position?

Did it happen that any Rick saw you walking with a Rick that works with you and think you were his?

"It's more like annoyance rather than anger. It was frustrating at first, but I've gotten used to it. I deal with it by calmly clarifying that I'm completely capable of getting to where I am without the assistance of a Rick."

"As for the second question, it's happened a few times, but whichever Rick I'm with, whether it's a guard or one of the Cabinet, would make their role clear very quickly.

Mal, you ever slept in the office due to too much work?

"A few times here and there, though it happened much more frequently two months ago. I had been working nights on a suitable plan that benefitted the Citadel and Revolutionaries against the Galactic Federation from every dimension."

"There was also the threat of two... degenerate intruders interfering. It was... a stressful time."

Well Mal, if you could do anything to help other Mortys or tell them something you think they should listen or consider, what would it be?

“I'm not a motivational speaker but… never stop struggling for what you think is right and never stop working to keep moving forward. Someday you'll reach your desired dream or goal."

“It’s… complicated. I do, but not under the same reasons as he does, and by far less gorey means. In my eyes, the causality of millions is not a fair exchange for the freedom that he has now.”

Hey did you use to have a Summer? Was she evil too?

“Of course I have a Summer. …Evil is a subjective, but I don’t think she is, was? I haven’t been to my dimension for a reasonable amount of time so maybe that’s changed while I’ve been gone. Last I was there she was still really into witchcraft.”

"I suppose... Servant of Evil. I don't particularly see myself as Rilliane, our personalities don't align. I'm not exactly like Allen, but I do find some similarities in his thinking."

“Yes, I am into gothic fashion, specifically elegant gothic aristocrat, or EGA as it’s simply known. I also like Ouji and Visual Kei fashion.”
