Tris and Gaia are actually based on my dog, Twix, and my ex’s cat, Gaia. They’ve never actually met but that doesn’t matter because Tris and Gaia are sisters who’ll stick up for each other even if the actual Twix and Gaia probs won’t.

Director Medea Ambrosius is not pleased at all. Also, she’s so damn old that majority of the organization is pretty sure she’s immortal.

The triplets locked their kidnapper in the box. Not sure how okay he is, stuffed into that.

Also after initial flashes, Tris of course struck a pose. Reporters were reasonable enough to use the good pictures for their newspaper.

The car has finally stopped trying to mow through the crowd. That little otter over there is one lucky dude.

Tris is a dramatic adrenaline junke and Gaia is very stressed and apologetic.

Come on. The car chase wouldn’t be complete without them crashing through the windows and into the palace.

They’re at Troy Palace now, which is usually for press conferences and some government meetings. It’s also the home of the Prime Minister, which is different from where the President lives.

They’ve got a Parliamentary Republic kind of thing going on but they still haven’t changed the name of the Queen’s Scouts even if they’re not a monarchy anymore.

The car’s bopping around going haywire. Tris and Gaia are closing in. They’re getting pretty close to the press conference palace tho.

Lighting up the car headlights is almost as fun as light streaming through windows.

Kidnapper #1 is a Dingo and Driver Kidnapper is a Chow Chow. They have the same palette because why not.

Tris is a sucker for the drama and adrenaline of all this action. Tbh, while writing her, I found myself getting pretty heavily influenced by Jake Peralta from Brooklyn Nine Nine. Like I was initially thinking Turk from Tarzan, but she’s grown to be more of a Jake, really.

Gaia is somewhere between Boyle and Amy.
