I wanted to try my hand at translating and typesetting the Hirano and Kagiura Doujinshi preview we got on twitter. I'm still very much a beginner at Japanese, so it might not be a perfect translation, but I did my best to make it make sense

Listened to the Sasaki and Miyano Amusement Park Drama CD earlier and I just wanted to showcase some of my favorite parts from it
Love Tashiro's energy here
They really would get along!! Unfortunately, they were not allowed to meet... (The manga panel is from a what-if situation where Sasaki and Miyano were roommates in the dorms too and Miyano and Kagiura become friends)
He definitely does not know that...
I believe this is taking place pre-Sasaki's initial confession, so... Natsume Soseki coming through with this line once again...
The implication here is so funny to me. Like not only that Kagiura doesn't like Sasaki (because he's jealous that Hirano hangs out with him, I presume), but the fact that Hirano knows means that Kagiura has brought it up to him before - I want to hear that conversation.

I was thinking about Banana Fish and I just realized something about the ending that absolutely devastated me... I'm sure other people caught this, but it took me a while...
At the end, Ash dies while happy because Eiji literally (and figuratively) taught him how to say goodbye - he has closure because of that. Meanwhile, Eiji, while on the plane, can't find it in him to say goodbye to Ash because he didn't get that same lesson (plus Ash was able to say goodbye to him at the hospital whereas Eiji wasn't)
Basically, Eiji teaching Ash to say goodbye was what offered him closure and part of the reason he was happy when he died (the other, of course, being that Eiji hadn't abandoned him). And I think that's simultaneously really sweet and really sad

I read through the latest volume of I Cannot Reach You yesterday and this cat is my absolute favorite

Glad to see that you can still make the reaper fight a joke in Reload by using Armageddon
#persona 3 reload#i was wondering if they were going to keep that in the game#and they in fact did#did it feel like a cheap way to fight it?#yes yes it did#but it does work#the reaper fight is actually kinda hard again#i got so used to how easy it is in royal#so i forgot that it can actually be kind of challenging

My cat is so unbelievably dramatic. It is currently 5 minutes past her dinnertime but I went to the bathroom before I went to give it to her and she is currently sticking her paws under the bathroom door and yelling like she hasn't been fed in months

Honestly, my one complaint about Reload is the fact that they took away Makoto's ability to run with his hands in his pockets
#persona 3#p3r#feel robbed of that#i would always wait for him to put his hands in his pockets in the original game#so that i could run with them#i actually also kind of miss the fatigue system#but i think thats just cause i dont like that i have to worry more about sp conservation since going to the lobby doesnt heal you#no more working the party until theyre tired and then getting annoyed at them for continually missing and#then being irritated when i go back to the lobby and they leave for the night#sad times lmao#im almost to the second full moon fight though#and im enjoying it a lot

So I was rewatching episode 1 of Link Click and I've kind of made it a habit to read English text on shirts in anime and manga because sometimes you see the most ridiculous stuff - this one just made me sad though
Literally says 'New Time'. They were really out here foreshadowing that from the very beginning, huh?
