Quick Update
So as I said in a previous post, I started back at school on Monday. I have whole new courses which are a lot more difficult than anticipated and life has decided to inconvenience me more by making sure I come down with the horrible bug that's been going around my town. Long story short: I'm still here, still going to write but it might be a few days before anything is up, sorry!

Perfect (George Weasley x Reader)
"Request:  ‘2 & 11 for george weasley from the prompt list? thank you! 💝’ ~ @bookthrills
A/N: Here, we see an example of my horribly inconsistent writing style. I spent far too long looking up idioms to see whether they were recognised worldwide or if they were just British or Scottish. Also, I’m an idiot and hit Save as Draft rather than post, so this is up later than I had originally expected.
Summary: Your plans to prank your boyfriend backfire when you inadvertantly ruin his plans to ask you a huge question.
Words: Approx. 1292
Prompts:
2. “After everything you did, you’re asking ME to apologize for snapping at you ONCE?”
11. “Be my wife.”
Hiding behind the counter, you waited expectantly for your boyfriend to return. George had spent a lot of your relationship pranking and teasing you- in fact, the very reason you got together in your fifth year was the aftermath of one of his pranks- and, today, you had decided that it was time for a little revenge.
It had taken you a while to set everything up, but you were proud of the fact that you had come up with this plan all on your own. Many people seemed to think that you were the level-headed, sensible one in the relationship, and that was true to an extent. Still, the people who seemed to think that you weren't any fun because of that were absolutely wrong- you loved a good practical joke as much as the next person and you could get... creative with your pranks too.
Still, though, the classics never hurt either. You had spent the best part of the morning making sure that everything was perfect- you had spent the best part of the morning making sure that everything was perfect- you had rigged a large bucket of feathers mixed with rotten eggs above your kitchen down, ready to rain down on your unexpecting boyfriend when he returned home from work.   While there was a lot worse you could do, you thought that this would be the perfect way to have a bit of harmless fun with George. The plan was set. It was simple really- a Stickfast Hex to make sure that he stayed in place and wouldn't move during the feather downpour, and that was basically it. Nothing to it. Simple yet effective and all that, right?
"I'm home!" You heard George shout from the entrance. As a grin spread across your face, you had to place a hand to muffle a laugh in anticipation of what would happen. "[Y/N]?" George called again after a short pause, wondering why you weren't responding to him. His footsteps got closer, and you smirked excitedly as you heard him turning the doorknob.
Peeking out a little from the counter, you silently cast a Stickfast Hex on your boyfriend, securing his feet in place. As he looked down, confused, a shower of the feathers and eggs rained down upon him, coating him whilst he stood frozen in place.
You couldn't help but laugh at the sight of George standing there, unable to move, with feathers and rotten eggs covering his clothes. It was this that alerted him to your presence in the room- in the downpour, he obviously hadn't noticed you peeking out slightly from your hiding spot.
"[Y/N]..." He said slowly, as if he wasn't quite sure how to react to what was going on. Finally, you fully emerged, still chuckling from how well your joke had gone. However, the smile started to fall from your face when you saw that George's expression wasn't anything like you had expected- when you were planning the prank, you envisioned your boyfriend standing there, laughing along with you, or teasingly mocking and criticising your lack of imagination when it came to your pranking methods; but the George in front of you was doing none of these things. Instead, he was standing there with a face like thunder, looking thoroughly unhappy.
"Uh... what's wrong?" You questioned cautiously, beginning to regret your actions. You had just thought that it would be a little bit of fun, but right now, it seemed like you had just triggered an argument.
"Well, if you hadn't noticed, [Y/N], I appear to be covered in feathers and eggs. And rotten eggs, at that." George snapped sarcastically, causing you to be taken aback. You frowned slightly, scoffing.
"What's your problem? Have you forgotten how to take a joke or something? That's unlike you. There's no need to get so angry with me- I was just trying to have a bit of fun. Or have you forgotten what fun is too?" You quipped back, crossing your arms across your chest.
“After everything you did, you’re asking ME to apologise for snapping at you ONCE?” George retorted indignantly. For a moment, confusion clouded your face. 'Everything you did'? Surely he wasn't just talking about the feathers incident here. Yes, there had been times when you hadn't taken his pranks in the best nature either, which had led to arguments between the two of you, but you thought that you two had resolved those conflicts.
"Look, [Y/N], I'm sorry," George said with a sigh, running a hand through his hair, "I'm just... I guess that you could say I had plans for things to do today that didn't really include being covered in a disgusting mix of rotten eggs and feathers." He trailed off with a chuckle, making to move towards you to apologise properly. It was at this moment you realised that you still hadn't cast the counter-spell for the hex you had placed upon him, evident by the fact that it was impossible for him to move his feet even an inch. Mumbling something which could be interpreted as an apology, you hurriedly cast another spell and released your boyfriend.
He took the opportunity to dash forward and wrap you in a hug, spreading some of the feathers and rotten eggs to you. You let out a shriek, but his arms just wrapped around you tighter, until both of you spontaneously broke down into laughter about how ridiculous the incident seemed to be.
"You got even, at least." You said with a grimace, looking down at the mess that now covered both of your clothes. Still, a small smile spread across your face as you looked back into George's eyes, glad that the pair of you hadn't descended into any sort of fight. You were about to cast a Scouring Charm on the pair of you, when something that George had said earlier snatched your attention. "What were those plans that you had today, anyway?" You questioned, genuinely curious.
"Well, that's..." George said, appearing to be nervous. Something resembling a blush crossed his cheeks, which only piqued your curiosity more. When you raised an eyebrow to urge him on, George only sighed.
"I really wasn't expecting to do this with the pair of us covered in rotten eggs and feathers, but here goes." He said, taking a deep breath. You watched as he filled with something in his pocket, and your eyes widened as he drew a small box from it. Was he going to...?
"[Y/N] [Y/L/N], I love you. I've loved you since the first time we ever interacted- since the time you charmed my hair to change colours for a week in retaliation for Fred and I pranking you." The memory couldn't help but make you grin, and you felt your heart pounding with every second that passed. "And, well... I was wondering if you would do me the honour of spending a lifetime with me. Be my wife." He concluded, opening the box to reveal a beautiful, shining ring.
Almost immediately, you squealed with joy. "Yes! Of course! I love you." You practically shouted, your heart swelling. George grinned, slipping the ring onto your finger, before securing you in yet another embrace and further dispersing the mess on your clothes between the pair of you.
"Sorry if the whole feathers thing ruined the moment." You murmured as his arms wrapped around you. You felt the vibrations of a chuckle from your now-fiancé, who pulled back, looking you straight in the eye.
"For us, it's perfect. As long as it's us, it'll always be perfect."

Thank you all so much for all your amazing requests! I just thought I should put out a disclaimer that I am going back to school tomorrow and have four weeks before my summer holidays start, so I may be a little slow getting things up. Still, all of you have been amazing and your feedback makes my day- I’m incredibly new to writing fanfiction and have terrible anxiety which has made my scared to post any work before, but everyone’s support and positivity has put a dorky smile on my face. 💖💖💖

We’ve had a good run, but you parked in my spot. I’m going to have to kill you now.” 214. “IT’S NOT COMING OFF!” 215. “It’s not what it looks like…” 216. “It’s okay, I’m here for you.” 217. “It’s okay to cry…” 218. “Just leave me ALONE.” 219. “Just talk to me!” 220. “Keep your head up.” 221. “Kiss me.” 222. “Let him go! It’s me you want.” 223. “Let me buy you a drink?” 224. “Let’s do something wild and crazy!” 225. “Look at me - just breathe, okay?” 226. “Look at that. I’ve never seen your face get so red.” 227. “Look, I don’t have much time, but I wanted to say I love you.” 228. “Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…” 229. “Make a wish.” 230. “Marry me?” 231. “May I have this dance?” 232. “Meet me at midnight. Alone.” 233. “Meet me on the bridge in an hour.” 234. “Meet me on the roof in ten minutes.” 235. “Mind if I cut in?” 236. “My parents asked about you.” 237. “No! I’m tired of doing what you say!” 238. “No one needs to know.” 239. “No one will ever hurt you again.” 240. “None of this makes sense.” 241. “None of that matters now.” 242. “Not a day will go by that I won’t think of you.” 243. “Oh, my God! You’re in love with her!” 244. “Please don’t argue. You have to leave right now, you aren’t safe here.” 245. “Please don’t cry.” 246. “Please don’t do this.” 247. “Please, don’t give up on me.” 248. “Please, don’t leave.” 249. “Please listen to me-” 250. “Please say something.” 251. “Please, take me instead!” 252. “Promise me you won’t let anything happen to him.” 253. “Promise me you’ll stay.” 254. “Remember our first date? When you took me to Starbucks and it took me 15 minutes just to choose a flavour of Frappuccino? I was never sure about anything, never. But I was so fucking sure about you!” 255. “Run, and don’t ever look back.” 256. “She’s been missing since Friday and you’re not worried?” 257. “She’s missing, not dead.” 258. “Shit, are you bleeding?!” 259. “Shopping? Do I have to go?” 260. “Shut up and kiss me.” 261. “Since when do you drive a motorcycle?” 262. “So? It’s not your problem so butt out.” 263. “So, I found this waterfall…” 264. “So there was an accident…” 265. “Somebody’s in love!” 266. “Sorry, I thought I was alone…” 267. “Stop taking pictures! I’m fucking stuck. Be useful and help me!!” 268. “Stop talking about love for a minute and help me with this bullet wound.” 269. “Stop talking about the past, I could be dead in a matter of hours… make me up a future.” 270. “Teach me how to play?” 271. “Tell me a secret.” 272. “Tell me again why I let you convince me that this was even remotely a good idea.” 273. “That came out wrong.” 274. “That guy at the bar keeps staring at you.” 275. “That is not coming in this house!” 276. “That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!” 277. “The joke’s on them.” 278. “The paint’s supposed to go where?” 279. “The sign said not to push the button, so naturally I had to push it!” 280. “The skirt is supposed to be this short.” 281. “The three seconds rule doesn’t apply to sticky foods.” 282. “The way you flirt is shameful.” 283. “There are plenty of people out there who love you.” “Yeah, like who?” “Like me.” 284. “There’s no getting out of this. You ruined me.” 285. “There’s something I need to tell you.” 286. “Things don’t always turn out how they should.” 287. “This is… this is somewhere I never imagined I’d be.” 288. “This is by far the stupidest plan you’ve ever had. Of course I’m in.” 289. “This is so going on YouTube!” 290. “This isn’t just about you. It’s about what’s best for all of us.” 291. “Those things you said yesterday… Did you mean them?” 292. “Time’s up!” 293. “Twins? We’re…we’re having twins?!” 294. “W…Was that you making that noise?” 295. “Wait a minute. Are you jealous?” 296. “Wait, do you two know each other?” 297. “Wake up! Please, please wake up.” 298. “Walk it off!” 299. “Wanna bet?” 300. "Well….don’t keep me waiting” 308. “Well, this is awkward…” 309. “Well, this is where I live.” 310. “What are you afraid of?” 311. “What did I ever done to you?” 312. “What other hidden talents do you have?” 313. “What the hell are you doing here?! I told you I never wanted to see you again!” 314. “What the hell was that?!” 315. “What were you thinking?? Were you trying to get yourself killed?” 316. “When are you going to realize that I don’t care?” 317. “When I come back, that better be exactly where you found it!” 318. “When you love someone, you just don’t stop. Ever. Even when people roll their eyes or call you crazy… even then. Especially then!” 319. “Where did that cat come from?” 320. “Where did you find this?” 321. “Where did you learn to dance?” 322. “Where were you? Do you have any idea how worried I was?” 323. “Who brought pot brownies to the bake sale?!” 324. “Who gave you that black eye?!” 325. “Who’s gonna stop me? You?” 326. “Why are you baking muffins at three in the morning?” 327. “Why are you covered in mud?” 328. “Why are you dressed like that?” 329. “Why are you lying?” 330. “Why are you up so early?” 331. “Why can’t they see that they’re meant for each other?” 332. “Why can’t you see what you’re doing to me?” 333. “Why choose me?” 334. “Why do I even bother?” 335. “Why don’t they just kiss already?” 336. “Why don’t you say that to my face?” 337. “Why wouldn’t you come to me with your problems?” 338. “Will you just shut up for a moment so I can say something nice to you!” 339. “Will you please just give me a hand?” 340. “You are nothing like them.” 341. “You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” 342. “You better have a good reason for waking me up at the ass-crack of dawn.” 343. “You braided his hair?” 344. “You broke what?!” 345. “You came back!” 346. “You can trust me.” 347. “You can’t just sit on the sidelines your whole life!” 348. “You can’t leave me in the dark. You have to tell me these things.” 349. "You can’t protect me.” 350. “You deserve so much better.” 351. “You did all of this for me?” 352. “You did this for me?” 353. “YOU DID WHAT?!” 354. “You didn’t tell me it was karaoke night…” 355. “You don’t have to stay.” 356. “You don’t know you the way I do.” 357. “You don’t need to protect me.” 358. “You fainted…straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn’t have to go to such extremes.” 359. “You got her pregnant?! What were you thinking?” 360. “You had me at ‘free pizza!’” 361. “You have no idea what I’ve done for you.” 362. “You have the most amazing eyes.” 363. “You have to make a choice.” 364. “You have to remember!” 365. “You haven’t even touched your food. What’s going on?” 366. “You heard me. Take. It. Off.” 367. “You know I wouldn’t do this if I had any other choice.” 368. “You know my name?” 369. “You know, it hurt when I realized that you’re not in love with me. But nothing can compare to the pain I felt when I saw you fall in love with him…” 370. “You know, it’s okay to cry.” 371. “You lied to me!” 372. ″You look beautiful.” 373. “You make me feel like I’m not good enough.” 374. “You need to leave. Right now.” 375. “You need to let her go.” 376. “You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.” 377. “You never told me you had a fucking twin.” 378. “You say the nastiest things when you’re angry, so yes, I’m walking away from you now.” 379. “You shouldn’t have even been there!” 380. “You walked away. Not me.” 381. “You weren’t supposed to hear that.” 382. “You’ll be the death of me.” 383. “You’re hiding something from me.” 384. “You’re my one exception.” 385. “You’re not alone.” 386. “You’re safe now. I’ve got you.” 387. “You’re the only one I trust to do this.” 388. “You’re too good for me.” 389. “You’ve got to be kidding me!” 390. “You’ve only heard his side of the story. You never asked mine.”

All the Way (Draco Malfoy x Hufflepuff!Reader)
Request: Nope!
A/N: My first fic yay! Feel free to give me feedback, I genuinely want to improve my writing! I also might make another part to this, if people want it.
Summary: When it comes to falling in love with the wrong person, Draco doesn’t do things by halves. Not only is the girl he starts to crush on a Hufflepuff, but she also happens to be a Mudblood too.
Words: Approx. 1511
Draco Malfoy was not the sort of person to do things by halves. That was probably part of the reason why the Sorting Hat had placed him in Slytherin six years before. Everything he did, he made sure that he succeeded thoroughly. So, it was inevitable when Draco became a disappointment to his family by falling in love with the wrong person, he went all the way with that too. Because the person that Draco fell in love with was, to begin with, a Hufflepuff. But that's not all that she was. She happened to be a Mudblood too.
~*~
The first time he really paid any attention to her was when, out of the blue, she marched up to him in the corridor and punched him in the nose. That was certainly enough to get his attention. So Draco stood there, stunned, whilst she ranted on about how he had insulted one of her best friends and she was most certainly /not/ okay with that; how she wasn't scared of him like everyone else was and she wouldn't hesitate to punch him again, harder, if he ever tried to hurt anyone she cared about ever again.
However, for Draco, it wasn't the words that he cared about- all he could pay attention to were her eyes. Filled with burning passion, the fire in those eyes seared onto his very soul.
As the girl marched away, Draco and those around him were left awestruck that she had the audacity to punch him of all people. Very few of them really knew who she was- Draco heard someone comment that her name was [Y/N] [Y/L/N], a Hufflepuff in their year. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she was a Hufflepuff, or maybe because she had always seemed so nice and polite, but no one had expected that of her. Certainly not Draco. Still, the incident gave him something that would stay at the forefront of his mind for a long time afterwards, and that one glimpse of the fire in her eyes that left him desperate for more, much as he would hate to admit that to anyone.
~*~
As the days drifted by, Draco couldn't help but think about [Y/N], and particularly those eyes of hers. He made it his mission to seek her out again, to try and initiate a conversation. Part of him told him that doing so was a bad idea- Draco Malfoy talking to a Mudblood Hufflepuff? What would people think? But a larger part of him needed to speak to her again, for reasons he could not yet understand.
The library was almost deserted on the day he found her in there, purely by a miraculous coincidence. Somehow, she always managed to track down spots that were quiet and where she could be on her own- Draco wondered why. If she could randomly stroll up to him and punch him, surely she wasn't shy? Still, there was no point dwelling on why she was there- all that mattered was that she was, and it gave him the perfect opportunity to talk to her.
Approaching her, Draco cleared his throat, suddenly feeling a constricting feeling in his chest. Was he... Nervous? That was new. He hadn't been nervous talking to anyone in a long time. But there was something about [Y/N] [Y/L/N] that brought out the nerves- something fresh and beautiful, although he still couldn't put his finger on exactly what it was.
"What?" [Y/N] hissed, looking up from whatever book she was pouring over. Upon seeing that it was Draco, she shot a glare his way. She had probably thought that he was there to insult her, or to get his own back for her punching him. Regardless of how justified the action was, a frown still creased Draco's face, and something in his chest twinged slightly.
"Well, I just... Uh..." Great. Draco had prepared to talk to her, but he hadn't prepared what he was going to say to her. He couldn't think of an excuse for randomly wandering up to her in the library because he was, once again, captivated by her eyes. The fire within them hadn't burned out- if anything, it had grown stronger. Realising that he was probably staring, Draco felt heat flood to his face.
"Oh, is the great Draco Malfoy speechless?" [Y/N] mocked, a smirk creeping onto her features. "I've never seen that before. Give me a second, I want to burn this image into my memory." Seeing Draco only grow more flustered at her words, she rolled her eyes. "Calm down, dear, it's just a joke. It's not like anyone would believe me if I told them anyway." Her voice trailed away at the last part of her speech, her eyes wandering back down to her book. It was obvious that she was expecting Draco to just walk away now. However, before he could, one of her words hit him, the reaction being delayed but pertinent nonetheless.
'Dear'? Was Draco hearing things or did she just call him 'dear'? And why was that tiny detail bothering him so much? She probably called everyone dear or was saying it sarcastically, like so many people did. It shouldn't have meant that much to him that [Y/N] [Y/L/N], the Mudblood Hufflepuff, had called him dear.
Except it did. And the unfortunate thing was that Draco was only just now realising why. He had a crush on her. But that was impossible. How could he have a crush on her of all people? More blood rushed to Draco's cheeks as he stumbled away awkwardly, trying to make sense of the information he had just uncovered. He had a crush on her.
~*~
Several weeks after this revelation, Draco had prepared to speak to [Y/N] once more. It was painfully obvious to him now that he had a crush on her- he had no idea how he hadn't realised it the first time they interacted. This time, he had even prepared something which he could actually say to her as well. He would apologise. That was always a good start, right? Apologise for being rude to her friend and to her, and maybe then they would be able to talk and he could... Ask her out? Well, that was the endgame, anyway. He couldn't let himself get his hopes up.
Spotting [Y/N] across the grounds, sitting in the cool shade of a tree, Draco took a deep breath and made his way towards her. She looked up when she saw him and this time, she didn't glare at him. To be completely honest, she hardly acknowledged him at all, apart from a slight nod of the head to indicate that she had seen him, but that was better than a glare, right?
"[Y/N]." Draco began, standing in front of her. For a brief second, a look of confusion crossed her features- it was obvious that she hadn't expected him to have any idea who she was, or really care. However, the look disappeared quickly, replaced by yet another sly smirk.
"Draco." She replied, mimicking his neutral tone. They weren't arguing, at the very least.
"I just wanted to... Apologise." Draco murmured, barely audible. [Y/N] raised an eyebrow, wordlessly saying that she hadn't comprehended any of what he had said. "I wanted to apologise, okay?" Draco said, louder this time. "For insulting your friend and you. That was what I was trying to say that time in the library." While that wasn't technically the truth, it wasn't a full lie either. Draco was confident that, had their conversation been extended, he would have apologised for his actions.
"That's... Unexpected." [Y/N] said, trying (and failing) to keep a neutral expression on her face. A smile curled at her lips, and Draco could feel a lump form in his throat at the sight of it. She had a really pretty smile.
"And I... I was wondering if you'd let me accompany you to Hogsmeade next weekend, to- uh- to make it up to you." He continued, less confident that he would have liked. The smile on [Y/N]'s face grew, but Draco could see some of that smirk of hers sliding in there too.
"My, my, are you asking me out on a date?" She teased, grinning. From her tone, it was evident that she thought that Draco was just attempting to be polite, so she was as taken aback as he was at his answer.
"Yes. Yes, I am." Draco's reply was much more self-assured than he had expected it to be, and [Y/N] hadn't expected it either. Her eyes widened, and Draco could see something that may even have resembled a blush creeping across her cheeks.
"I may have to take you up on that offer..."
