Ok redownloaded tumblr just to post this, but am I the only one who feels that objects retain memories ? Not in the way you're thinking of. I mean that objects themselves have memories.

If you go into a friend's house the first time, it won't look the same as the 100th time you go in. That, is because the house remembers you, and if you're a good friend, it will look nicer, if you're a bad friend, it'll look more gloomy and dark.

If you use a pen the first time the day of an exam, you might not pass the exam, but if you use the pen to study, you'll ace the exam. That, is because the pen remembers what you studied.

Clothes don't fit well the first time you wear them, but they'll fit really nicely the 10th time. They remember the shape of your body.

I don't know, this came up to me because my brother is repainting my dad's house (my dad is very alive) and he repainted it beige (Ew) so I complained to a friend that the house will now forget me because it has changed, to which the friend replied "it's an object" But I thought we all agreed objects hold memories ??????

Imagine the aliens reproduce asexually ? That would be third shock just learning that some of us treat our body's like absolute sex machines.

Ok i don't know if anyone thought of this before but :

What if aliens don't have taste ? like they didn't have to develop taste buds for some reason and they only eat to appease their hunger ? Or maybe they don't feel hunger and only eat for nutrition ?

And when aliens will visit us they may get a handle on our anatomy and what is healthy food so everytime they see a human eating something with high levels of sugar they would just throw the food out cuz Sugar in the aliens perspective is technically poison to human wich leads to a conversation like :

Human : Sugar isn't that unhealthy

Alien : the Sugar that you humans make is poisonous, Especially in such high dosage.

Human : yeah but it tastes good !

Alien : tastes... good... ?

Human : yeah and it also releases dopamine !

Alien (who knows what dopamine is and is tired of humans self destructive behavior) : of course it fucking does.

I actually haven't thought of that.

Cravings are a way for humans to realise they're missing a nutrient, but it also shows up on our body's (water not found ? You get yellow skin and yellowish-brownish-blackish piss.)

If we consider that their planet doesn't have any poisonous food on it, meaning one less reason for them to developped taste, it could only show up physically like their body changing colors etc...

I want to see the horrified look on their alien faces when they learn about what some of us do with piss and breast milk.

So i made this a long time ago and it's one of those drawings that i just got lucky that it turned out good, not the "trust the process" type, more like... "You won't even be able to make something like this ever again" type, Because ever since i tried to replicate this effect i just ruin my drawing.
