.Last March 3,2018, the Rotaract Club of Marapara donated boxes of  K-12 books to the library of Tomonong Elementary School, E.B. Magalona. The Book Drive was participated by 2 Rotaractors.

The Rotaract Club of Marapara together with the rest of  District 3850 celebrated World Rotaract Day, last March 13, 2018  with a scrumptious dinner at Timeout Restaurant. 1 rotaractor represented RAC Marapara and 20 other rotaractors from different clubs of the district.

MEDICAL MISSION AND BLOOD TYPING
Date: January 20 2018
Venue: Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental
Last January  20, 2018, the Rotaract Club of Marapara had a medical mission and blood typing activity at Don Salvador Benedicto and was participated by 5 Rotarators.
The project aimed to promote hygiene and proper sanitation.

FEEDING PROGRAM 
Date: January 2, 2018

As a way to call in the New Year, the Rotaract Club of Marapara held a feeding program last January  2, 2018, at La Castellana, Negros Occidental. The group gave out food that resembled a new year’s eve meal to the people that couldn’t have afforded a grandiose celebration.

Peace begins with the self. And inorder to unleash the world’s tranquilty, the youth has to be informed. In this project, the youth task force of Brgy Cabug attended a seminar about peace and conflict resolution to fight the stigma of everyday war in the society.

Last hearts day, the Rotaract Club of Marapara together with the Arts Students of Inyteract Club of St. Scholastica with Binhi Arts club conducted a seminar workshop about how can used office materials can be used as an artful product. The project was headed by ASP John Weber.

Nations rise and fall. And with this, a simple fact remains: the destiny of a nation depends upon the education of its succeeding generation. That is why we have been continuously conducting our advocacy/flagship program “Let’s RAC” to enhance the intellectual capacity of the young. In this project, we asked helped from the Riverside Community to donate school materials and teach basic arithmetic.

That is why the RAC Marapara initiated its Maternal and Child program: Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health (The Newborn Screening Advocacy to cater the needs of its newborn and also to eradicate the occurrence of unwanted deformities and disabilities.

There is a need for new ways for the youth to be together, to either solve conflicts in the society or be the change they want see in this world. Perhaps the highlight of Rotaract Marapara’s “Y.E.S. Lead: Youth Empowerment for Servant Leadership” for this Rotary Year. We have invited the Student Government Presidents of Bacolod City together with the Bacolod Member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines Congressman Greg Gasataya to talk about how can the youth contribute to and help improve the economy of Bacolod city to provide free tuition fees to both private and state colleges.

The Rotaract Club of Marapara managed a Fellowship Activity together with other Rotaract Clubs of Negros after the District 3850 Dental Mission held at one of the Barangay Health Centers in Pulupandan last June 18, 2016. Different Negros Rotaractors from District 3850 were able to participate in the event and five of whom are from Rotaract Club of Marapara. The Rotaractors were one in its vision to promote camaraderie and have fun over a tableful of food and drinks during the fellowship.
  Furthermore, the Fellowship Activity in collaboration with the District Officers and other Rotaract Clubs of Negros is one of its ways to promote Club Service in the course of fellowship through service.

June 17, 2016 -- the Rotaract Club of Marapara joined the last District Meeting for RY 2015-2016 at Qualitea Lacson Branch which was organized by Joy Ann Ardiente, the Immediate Past District Rotaract Representative of District 3850. The District Meeting was attended by the Negros RAC Clubs and five from Rotaract Club of Marapara were in attendance to represent the org. The minutes of the previous meeting was discussed first; then, followed by the final updates of the IPDRR and her last message to the representatives of the clubs who were present.
  Moreover, the club meeting of the district is one of its ways to promote Club Service through informing the officers and members of the recent internal and external invitations and changes made.

Last 14th day of June 2016, the Rotaract Club of Bacolod Marapara organized a Club Meeting which was held at McDonald’s Lacson Branch and was attended by eight Rotaractors. The minutes of the previous meeting was discussed first; then, followed by the presentation of the upcoming fundraising projects of the organization. In addition, other projects and activities wherein the RAC BCD Marapara was invited were also tackled. These are: the team building activity of the Negros Confederation – Junior Philippine Institute of Accountancy, the Dental Mission of the District 3850, and the Strike: Bowling fundraising contest.
  Moreover, the club meeting of the org is one of its ways to promote Club Service through informing the officers and members of the recent internal and external invitations and changes made.

The night included a whole lot of meaty conversation over buckets of beer amongst members. This fellowship activity is one of the organization’s ways to promote camaraderie, collaboration and club service.
