Bruce was a young adult when he took in Dick, and probably still just barely keeping afloat in the trauma of his childhood and adolescence, so I raise you this:

Bruce Wayne, young and self destructive, kicking one bad habit after another to the curb because there is a bright-eyed child in the house now. A child that refuses to eat breakfast one day and protests: "But Bruce isn't eating anything either!" when Alfred tries to dissuade him from his sudden rebellion.

And Bruce is struck with the thought: this child cannot end up like me. He finds that there is no stronger incentive to get his shit together than that.

If this boy is going to follow his example, it better be an example that's not going to lead him straight to hell—and if Bruce finds himself eating enough and sleeping more and searching for a therapist when he's convinced himself all these years that suffering is an integral part of his personality, well. If that personality cannot take proper care of Dick, it will have to go.

Was considering naming them Delphi, and having their lore be them essentially a court wizard to King Dedede that gets sold to the king through NME (because Kirby Right Back At Ya my beloved)

I’ll attempt color later, but- Moon themed crystal ball artifact haver? Magic tarot cards? Little gremlin has a lot of potential, and I need to color. I also have work sketches of them, which I need to unearth
