The thing is that most women are more than willing to call people by their preferred names and pronouns. We’re agreeable, we’ve been socialized to be (that’s why individualistic guilt-based “activism” works so well on us). But when it gets to the point where we aren’t allowed to talk about our bodies, how inhabiting these bodies is a specific experience with specific consequences in the world, specific consequences for our psyches, that’s when it’s clear that we’re being asked too much. We’re being asked to silence the truth of our lives for someone else’s benefit. So ask yourself: why is validation of anyone’s viewpoints and experiences more important than my own? Why is anyone’s perspective more worthy of mention, appropriate, “inclusive”, than a woman’s?
#@fellow women: GET ANGRY#we are allowed to think for ourselves!!! we are allowed to throw away the bullshit guilt men have intilled in us!!!!

literally all we have to do to combat this is speak the fuck up
its immensely hard because it puts us at risk for violence and backlash but honest to god if you see a man in your local womens only space literally just call him the fuck out, the narcissistic injury might kill him on the spot lol
So there will be a “Gender Fluid” pool area - a “mixed” pool area & a “male” pool area. 🤔 fascinating.
#@fellow women: SPEAK UP#dont just politely look away#if even a few of us take an actual real life stand against this bullshit it WILL have an effect#we have the power to fight this garbage#even if you personally dont want to speak up#in case of losing friends#teach your mum to! teach your aunt to! teach your sisters who arent as caught up in this neoliberal bullshit to!#but honestly? we should#personally#start bucking up and braving backlash#its okay for us to establish boundaries#its necessary for our fucking survival

honestly not to be a rüdfem but all the men who got up in arms that discussion surrounding the horrifically violent rape of a BABY girl didn’t include their transwoman feelings should absolutely kill themselves.

Today in peak trans… Journalist posts article about man raping female infant. Journalist quickly attacked by trans activists and branded a TERF for mentioning that the infant was female. Also featuring Katelyn Burns, notable trans activist, with a charming and not at all disgusting comment.

is anyone else really grossed out by this?
cant interact with the stranger things fanbase here because theyre so fucking obsessed with turning mike into a ~trans girl~ so he and eleven can be ~cute baby dykes UvU~ and its just really fucking gross to me, as a lesbian? like annoying forced transing of a normal masculine boy character aside, its so fucking insidious that theyre doing it so he and eleven are “”lesbians”“ like does that not set off everybody’s child sexualization/lesbian fetishism detectors??? its fucking weird and extremely fetishy??? look id be fucking thrilled to have young teens having cute lesbian relationships in media, middle school romances etc but changing a characters “gender” for the sole purpose of creating a forced lesbian couple is weird as fuck and doesnt sit well with me at all. can anyone voice this better than how i have? i feel like i cant quite explain why it skeeves me out so much.
also whomst else is noticing that the “sapphic wooluhwoo” who perpetuate this weird fuckin headcanons are the same people who say that like... harry styles and steve harrington are “honorary lesbians uwu”. bihets are crazy
#can anyone explain this better ts creeping me the fuck out#larpsandtherealgirl#you are smart could you take a crack at this one#this bullshit is so annoying

Really Makes You Think
Trans activism reinforces gender roles.
Imagine a society where there were no gender roles, and men were free to wear dresses and makeup and women were free to look like lumberjacks if we wanted and nobody associated any type of behaviors or aesthetics or jobs or hobbies or any single fucking thing with being a man or being a woman.
Imagine a society where womanhood was only about the experiences related to the female body and had nothing to do with your personality, because all women have different personalities even if we have similar bodies and can relate to the experiences our bodies give us.
You could not be trans in such a society, because if there is no social construct of gender roles to mark and separate men and women, then you have no social construct to show others, “see, I am a woman because I am conforming to femininity!”
There is nothing wrong with being a man in a dress.
The whole point of feminism is to abolish the gender stereotypes, not to reinforce them. But trans activism is inherently and fundamentally anti-feminist, because trans activism relies on gender roles. You can’t be trans without the oppressive system of gender still being in place, if feminism was successful and everyone could be free, there would be no way for men to call themselves women because womanhood would strictly be about physiology.

heres to hoping that juniper kid can see now what real violence is like, and that its coming from her own community.

A transgender campaign against the Bloodroot Vegetarian Restaurant and Feminist Bookstore in Connecticut was launched over the holidays by a young person named Juniper, who is apparently a teenage girl who identifies as ‘non-binary’. (Non-binary individuals are members of a subculture who believe that reproductive sex does not exist as an objective dimorphism in mammals, and consider themselves to be reproductively intersex or neuter, although absent any evidence of such.)
Juniper kicked off the campaign to shut down the restaurant with the following Facebook post:

Hundreds of transactivists responded by flooding the restaurant, owned and operated by Lesbian Feminists for over forty years, with hostile phone calls and emails and negative ratings and comments on their Facebook and Yelp sites, along with the requisite rape and death threats that have come to typify modern transgender activism.

Now Juniper is apologizing.
“I never intended to elicit threats of harm or death to the women of Bloodroot. I do not wish violence upon anyone- that’s the opposite of why I posted this. I greatly apologize for the unintended consequences of the situation…I agree that the use of the word “violence” to describe the Bloodroot owners was dramatic and out of place. I agree that folks (me included) tend to use the word “violence” frivolously, which can dehumanize the person we are accusing and unwittingly cause real violence to occur…Also, most of the businesses that we shop at are probably owned by shitty cis men who do real harm to women, unlike the owners of Bloodroot”

As many of you know, Bloodroot has recently come under attack and is currently being trolled by a number of people in the transgender community and their supporters. We felt it was time to make an official statement. Because it seems whenever we try and explain what happened and our stance on this issue, it only serves to inspire more hatred, we will not be replying to comments.
Bloodroot and her owners are not transphobic – far from it! Bloodroot has always welcomed and respected everyone – especially people who might feel uncomfortable in a public space. Whether that be people from other countries, people of color, people of every type of sexuality, and yes, people who are transgender. Our long-time customers know that, many who are transgender, which is why they have been rallying to our defense.
One of our relatively new customers was enthusiastically telling us about a space in Massachusetts that catered to trans people and asked if we knew about it. We didn’t but since we are not trans, it wasn’t all that interesting to us personally and stated that for us, we prefer women only spaces. This comes from our history. When Bloodroot first started in the 70’s we were trying to create a space specifically safe for women, since there were so few places like that at the time. Of course even back then we were open and welcoming to everyone, not just women. This customer misunderstood what was really an off-hand comment and perceived that to mean that we were anti-trans. She then wrote a post slamming us. That post was seen and shared. Then some in the trans community – most of whom have never been to Bloodroot – started trolling us. We find it ironic that of all the many businesses that you probably buy things from, it’s hard to imagine any of them being as supportive of not only trans people, but all people who are “different” from societal norms as Bloodroot has been and continues to be. But Bloodroot, a Vegetarian (mostly vegan) Restaurant and Feminist bookstore, that has been in business for 40+ years and is owned and run by two lesbians aged 73 and 83, is the place they decide to attack. Women who through their activism as second wave feminists help pave the way for the rights and freedoms that the trans community today enjoy!
The woman who wrote the original post has since removed it because as she said “I never intended to elicit threats of harm or death to the women of Bloodroot.
Imagine for a minute if hundreds of people who don’t know you started to attack you online, spewing lies about you that go against your core values, and trying to destroy you. Better yet, imagine them doing that to someone you love – your mother or grandmother for example. We understand this is a subject matter that many people are passionate about, but we feel this anger is misguided and misplaced.
Regardless of how you feel about Bloodroot’s stand on this, we will continue to be a welcoming space for all types of people, including those that are transgender, and treat everyone with respect. If you feel our explanation and response is inadequate for you, then you should not patronize us.

Honestly fucking this
That $5000 you spent on a designer dress to wear once would ACTUALLY genuinely help fund resources for traumatised, abused women but no, you choose to "raise awareness" instead.
Rich people choosing to "raise awareness" when they have fucktons of money that they'll never even need is infuriating. You can actively fund the thing you're protesting for/about. You could save someone's life with your money but you'd rather just wear black while still covertly supporting the very spaces that movement is so critical of by choosing to participate.
Wearing super expensive black clothes ain’t doing shit for abused women, just give your millions to shelters and charity u dumbasses!! Who cares that you felt “woke” on the red carpet. You shouldn’t feel any pride if all you did was wearing some Armani black suit and twitting about it omg i hate Hollywood, and i hate 99% of celebs
You wanna change shit ??!! GIVE YOUR MILLIONS!!!
#rich people infuriate me#for most of us all we can do is raise awareness!#you can personally#as a single human being#make an active difference#but you choose to hoard your money like a fucking goblin#get fucking bent#rich people don't care about abused women#esp poor women#eat the rich
