The world faded into a blur as Rook plunged blindly into the darkness of the labs. He flew past countless doors, taking turns at random. Some dim part of his mind was aware that this was foolish, that he might be running towards more monsters. Towards his death. Most of him didn’t care. Maybe if he died, he would wake up from this nightmare.  After a while his boots’ magic faded. His speed slowed to a crawl, and he stumbled. His foot caught on a fungal root and he tipped forwards, slamming into the ground. As he sat up and looked around, Rook knew he was far, far from the room where he’d started. Good, he thought, the party won’t be able to find me.

I've always thought that this scene (which was nearly a year ago now, holy shit) from Rook's campaign would make a really cool render. But I didn't really have a great idea for how to pull it off. And then I was browsing my game and found a bunch of fantasy plants and mushrooms by @radioactivedotcom that I apparently forgot I had, and it all starting falling into place. A little bit of blender advice from @goldenwaves set me on the right track to getting all of the plants to glow. And then I got it into photoshop, and boom!! My boy's miserable day came to life! I'm pretty damn happy with how it came out, actually.

hey! i just thought i'd let you know that the coffee tin w/ cigarette butts from this cc set is broken. i placed it in a lot and then exited and when i tried to enter the lot again i was stuck in an endless loading screen. once i was able to isolate the broken cc i removed it from my mods folder and i could load into the lot again. radioactivedotcom tumblr com/post/645290829113638912/oldies-but-goodies-set-buy-cc-conversions-ok

Please check this post, that should fix the problem, I think? If that didn't fix it, well.. I'm very slowly going through my older cc to update them to directx 11, and fixing anything wrong I find with them as I go, so I'll eventually get to the oldies but goodies set as well and I'll check it out then.

if you have this set in your mods folder, i highly HIGHLY recommend redownloading it. I've lowered the polycount for nearly all items, added proper lods, fixed textures, updated to D11... it's just an actual proper set now lmao.

i've also updated these 2 super old deco thingies i made in 2019. the cyberpunk signs and the sci-fi stickers. just made sure they're compatible with D11 and fixed the names and some little things for more consistency for all my cc. so uhh feel free to redownload if you want :)

Mmh, I wouldn't be against it perse, but I don't have the game, so like... I don't have the 3d models from it, nor do I know how to rip them since the process is different for every game. Plus, tbh, the art style for disco elysium is very different from s4, I'm just not sure it would look good converted into s4?

So basic answer is no, but like... not a resounding no? lmao

very small things, just some puddles and splatters that light up, so you can make it radioactive, magical, or anything you feel like! the base color is white so you can make it any color on the wheel! :) the puddles emit much more light, whereas the splatters are just lit up.

hi there<3 i wanted to say i love everything you came out with for simblreen but i seem to be getting an error when the lady taxidermy deer from the horror deco set is in my mods folder. i've taken everything out and left only that and i get an error about study magic tomes and a bookshelf that are base game items. just wanted to let you know!
