we haven’t seen each other in years but reunite at a mutual friend’s wedding, things ended badly between us and we both know it’s better to avoid each other but of course we’re seated at the same table, opposite each other 

we’re broken up,  you’re over at my house to pick some of my stuff out, and neither of us know how to act, so i just let you inside, you grab your things, and leave as quickly

you’re over at my house to pick some of your stuff up, and as you load the last of your things into your car, you head back to my front door door to say goodbye, and somehow… we wind up in bed 

being forced to kill your lover, but you can’t do it, so they take your hand, and help you press the knife into their chest, while the antagonist watches your every move, making sure neither of you try to run 

having to watch your lover die, as you’re restrained by the antagonist, unable to fight your way out of their grip, yet your eyes are glued on your lover’s 

having to say goodbye to your lover, who’s moving across the world, kissing them goodbye one last time before they board the plane. during your last kiss, your lover says they didn’t think you would make it to the airport but ‘’i couldn’t let you leave without saying goodbye.’’ 

two character’s dying together, laying outside in the cold, rain, holding hands 

a love triangle in which, lover #2 recognizes how toxic lover #1 is for the main character ‘’one of you will end up killing the other. whether that’s physically or emotionally, one of you will end up killing the other. there’s no dimension in this world where the two of you end up happy.’’

accidentally catching your ex or the person you’re in love with getting frisky with someone else, and having to pretend like it doesn’t bother you

going to your lover’s house to apologize for something you did, but instead of being let in, you get the door slammed in your face ‘‘why are you here?’‘ ‘‘i’m here because i love you, and because i want to make things right.’‘ ‘‘well, i don’t want you here, so go away.’‘

one character, with trust issues, gets drunk one night and spills how insecure they are in the relationship ‘’you don’t. you don’t love me. you only love me when it’s beneficial.’’ or the partner is caught cheating and the character drops those words

your lover telling you that they don’t love you anymore, or that they’ve found someone else, and as you pack your things, you find a photo of the two of you together, from a time when you were happily in love

unrequited love, in which i just poured my heart out to you, telling you i love you and you said that you don’t feel the same way, and then you leave, and i’m standing here, not sure what to do, i can’t even cry that’s how shocked and heartbroken i am

‘‘you’re the worst thing that has ever happened to me. no, listen to me. you’ve destroyed me.’‘ 

a break up in which, one person doesn’t have any feelings for the other anymore, while the other one is still head over heels in love with them ‘’but that doesn’t mean that our love wasn’t real. doesn’t mean that you didn’t love me enough, or that you weren’t loved. you were. you’ll always be.’’ ‘’just not in the way i love you.’’ ‘’no.’’ 

promising your lover that you’ll make it home in time for your anniversary, but something comes up and you’re late, which screws up all your plans for the evening, and instead of celebrating your anniversary, your lover goes to bed, and barely utters one word to you the next morning

it’s toxic, and we’re not good for each other, and ‘’i love you so much it’s killing me.’’

begging your lover to open the door so you can talk things through ‘’i know you’re in there. [character], please, open up.’’ but as they won’t, ‘’at least let me say goodbye.’’ 

a character using their last bit of strength to kiss you goodbye, before they close their eyes for the last time 

two characters are about to kiss, but pulls away last second when one character says ‘’this isn’t right.’’ and the other replies with ‘’you wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t.’’ 

‘’you said you wouldn’t break my heart, and then that’s exactly what you did.’’ 

‘’i don’t want to listen to a single word coming out of your mouth.’’

‘‘we can’t be together. it’s too dangerous. you understand that, right?’‘

one character, who’s either been brainwashed or cursed by the antagonist into trying to kill their lover, has their lover pressed up against the wall, a knife to their throat, having tried to convince their lover to kill them instead, before they hurt them, in which their lover says ‘’go ahead. do it. if you’re telling the truth, if you’re so convinced you’ll kill me, do it.’’ and the character stares at their lover, who then says ‘’if you weren’t in control, you would have done it a long time ago.’’ and it then leads to the character slowly gaining back control, breaking the curse or whatever. alternatively, if you’re related to the devil himself, you could have the character kill their lover, and then right after they’ve killed them, they snap out of it, dropping the knife to the ground, in pure shock as they watch their lover’s dead body fall to the ground ? you guys wanted angsty prompts it’s not my fault also i’ve done this to my own character welcome to hell

pining prompts (it's my whole shtick)

⇴ person a and b are looking at each other when there's that one person that annoys both of them, and then laughing. it's that SHARED LOOK and SHARED CONNECTION that makes person a quickly turn away.

⇴ person a comes out looking amazing, and person b is literally too stunned to speak. person b's hand is on their chest as if they're trying to catch their breath. person b so desperately wants to reach out and say something, until person a grabs person c's hand.

⇴ person a has been attracted to person b since they last met at a short-term location (ex. airport), so much so that all of their friends know about person b and are desperate to find them so they can shut person a up.

⇴ person a and person b both brushing hands on accident, and person a quickly yanks their hand away while person b is still spiraling because of the contact.

⇴ additionally ^ they both say "sorry!" at the same time, and person b is just like "oh my god we just brushed hands and their hands were so soft and i want to do it again poierjbhuefjniubh"

⇴ person b doing anything to make person a laugh. "you are my glorious god and i will kiss the ground you walk on," followed by person a's laugh and SMILE (person b nearly evaporates). "shut up" with a smile and PERSON B IS FOUND DEAD ON THE GROUND.

⇴ "you're adorable" "what?" "nothing."

⇴ person b is telling themselves not to get close to person a. but once they see person a right in front of them, they fold immediately. person b listens to any word person a says, regardless of "needing to avoid them." person a has person b enamoured and doesn't even know it.

⇴ person b and person a both jokingly flirt with each other, except neither of them are joking but both of them think the other person is. (idiots)

⇴ "i can't keep myself away from them. i think they have some magnetic force that pulls me into them" – person a/b. "i think that's called attraction and, call me crazy here, but i think you're in love with them." – person c, who is fed up.

⇴ one night stand between person a and person b, whom were both drunk at the time. person b is in the middle of regretting everything and feeling like SHIT and gently admiring a the morning after because they're aware that nothing will be the same after this and this might even be the last time they will talk.

jealousy prompts (oooooo)

⇴ person a sees person b absolutely hit it off with person c (and is very obviously pained because of it). person b comes over to talk to person a, but is only met with awkward conversation instead of the same boisterous talks they usually have.

⇴ person b sees person a with another person, and they have to bite down on their lip so hard whenever person a talks about the other person, because deep down person b wishes that a was with them (this was more pining than jealousy but oh well).

⇴ "was that a good conversation?" "oh... yeah. it was great" "great." [and there's this thick, awkward silence afterwards].

⇴ person a wishes that they could be person b. person b has it all: charisma, hilariousness, the friends, the partner, etc. (but maybe person a isn't jealous of person b... maybe person a is desperately craving person b's attention and that's why they're jealous)

⇴ person b is watching person a from afar, chatting it up with this other person. b has a strong urge to pull a away from everyone and pull a into b's own little world, but refuses because they want to keep a happy, even if it's at a cost at b's own happiness.

⇴ person a and person b are dating, and person a just finished a conversation with someone person b was jealous of. when they get home, person b is a bit more clingier and so much more touchy. cue a's teasing and b hiding their face in the crook of a's neck.

⇴ ^ "so... are you finally gonna admit you were jealous?" "uh, no, because i wasn't" (b says as they press kisses to a's neck and hold a close to their body).

⇴ "you guys look good together." "really?" (and a/b wants to shout NO!!!!!!)

⇴ "and i love you. i love it when you do the double-tuck thing with your hair when you're nervous, does [person c] notice that? do they know that when you shove your hands in your pockets, you're really just doing it so you can fidget without anyone knowing? or, what about the way you look at people–" and person a is in total shock the whole time.

⇴ "i can't take it anymore. i want–need you. i don't care about what [person c] thinks, i only care about you. tell me you need me too, and i'll stay."

⇴ person b is sulking after seeing person a reunite with someone they've been close to since forever (think family friend...yikes). person a thinks it's adorable and goes to "comfort" b by peppering their face with kisses and giving them words of affirmation.

⇴ "hey" kiss on the jaw "you don't have anything to worry about" kiss on the corner of the lips "i chose you for a reason" kiss on the temple "you're the one i love" kiss on the lips.

⇴ ^^ cut to person b being like "really?" with a cheeky grin.

⇴ person a is about to reach out to person b, only to see person b walk past them to go see person c. person a turns around to person c and immediately feels flooded with comparisons. specifically, "why don't they like me like they like them?"

⇴ person a is constantly checking the relationship status of person b, and their heart always aches when they continue to see person c's username in person b's bio.

prompts for when you're utterly obsessed with someone

⇴ "who needs to look at the stars when i can look at you?"

⇴ there's tons of people crowding around person a, but they're solely focused on person b (who doesn't know person a)

⇴ "dude, what are you staring at? it's been five minutes" and person a, who turns around + is embarrassed, "um, what?"

⇴ when person a cannot take their hands off of their person b. it's like they're saying "mine mine mine" bc of how touchy they are

⇴ when person a looks EXTRA good, so person b teases them by on kissing them on the cheek, neck, jaw, and eventually lips.

⇴ ^^ "what's all of this for?" and person b hoarsely mumbles, "nothing," while pressing themselves closer into person a's neck + placing kisses all over

⇴ person a CHEERING when person b comes out in a formal outfit. like standing up and clapping in the middle of the dressing room.

⇴ "c'mere," person a says while opening their arms for person b. then person b proceeds to dive into person a.

⇴ staying up until 3am talking to each other. partially because they can't get enough of each other, and because both parties want the conversation to keep going (bonus points if they fall asleep mid convo)

⇴ "stay. i don't want you to go," person a says with a raspy, sleepy voice while grabbing onto person b's hand.

⇴ "it's scary how much i need you. sometimes, if you're not around, i genuinely believe i start losing it."

⇴ person a giving person b so much reassurance. telling b things like "you're amazing, you always have been," and "i know you're do great."

⇴ person a is rambling and drops the "am i talking too much?" and person b says "never."

⇴ literally having to resist the carnal urge to grab the other person and pull them into you

⇴ person a is unable to resist person b's teasing, so they grab their jaw and pull them into a lengthy kiss

⇴ person b looking at person a like they're one of the seven wonders, while person a is literally wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and a face mask

⇴ "what? do i look funny?" "i can't believe you just said that."

⇴ "kiss me again and again and again. i will never get tired of it–or you for that matter."

⇴ being grabby while making out. grabbing someone's ass, shoulders, jaw, waist, idc. (BONUS POINTS IF IT'S GRABBING ASS WHILE PICKING SOMEONE UP)

Prompts for a Character in Love with Someone Who They Think Hates Them

Every time they glared at her, her heart melted.

She could cry. How could she have fallen in love with them?

"Every time I look at you, I can't help but hope you feel the same butterflies in your stomach when you look back at me. But deep down, I know all you feel is hatred."

He hated the feeling that he got in his chest whenever he looked at them. It only reminded him that they would never reciprocate his feelings.
