Questions for Sibling OCs - Kazuki-Sakuya Edition

Before we get into the Q&A, let's get to know who the characters are!

The one on the lower panel (blue hair) is Ichijou Kazuki, the older twin brother. Long story short, although he is already MARRIED to another guy with red hair and even having two children together, he still wants to stay with his baby brother because of what happened in the past. He feels guilty for Sakuya's whole trauma and PTSD, thinking that it's all his fault for ruining Sakuya's entire life (which, honestly he kinda does in one part) and happiness. He regrets for once leaving Sakuya all by himself because he was too busy denying his feelings for his baby brother with another man.

While the one on the upper panel (purple hair) is Ichijou Sakuya, the younger twin brother. He really loves Kazuki, in fact both of them love each other, but have a severe case of trying to deny their feelings for each other by going out with another person. It runs in the family, apparently! They are only a day apart, Kazuki was born on November 8 while Sakuya on November 9. Both are 36 y.o (surprisingly).

You may ask, "what happened to Sakuya that made Kazuki feel so guilty?" In very straightforward words, he was rap*d and made a slave by his ex-boyfriend and his friends while Kazuki was doing whatever he was doing without knowing what had happened to Sakuya.

Questions were made by the admins on OCsbase, Twitter. Original thread (in Indonesian) on my Twitter, dated 14th December 2023.

1. "How many siblings are they?"

Twogether like a pair of shoes.

2. "Who is the oldest one?"

Kazuki!

3. "Who is the youngest one?"

Sakuya!

4. "What is their age difference?"

Just a day... maybe approximately 7-8 hours.

5. "How is their dynamic?"

Responsible older brother, foolish younger brother. Kazuki is calmer, while Sakuya is more energetic. Literally sun-moon trope.

They're also basically brocons in denial, they are affectionate to each other and don't want to separate but only think of it because, well, they're brothers (whereas they actually love each other in that way)

6. "Are they close, so-so, or even dislike each other?"

They were very close during their childhood, but as adults... they go on their own separate ways (they'll get back together sooner or later, don't worry)

7. "Do they look alike?"

Of course they look alike, they're IDENTICAL twins after all 😭

8. "If they look alike, are they happy to be considered similar to their sibling?"

Kazuki would probably be happy, but Sakuya once had a time when he didn't want to be compared or even had any relations to his brother, even if he was only told that they look alike or people asked if he has a twin brother because he has always been compared to by their parents during his entire life, so Sakuya felt inferior to his more "perfect" twin brother… as a result, he didn't want to be associated with Kazuki in any way due to his enviousness and growing bitterness. Meanwhile, Kazuki was totally oblivious to this.

Nowadays, Sakuya doesn't really mind it, though sometimes he will still feel like he doesn't deserve to be compared to Kazuki (in a good way)... or that he doesn't deserve his big brother's unconditional love...

9. "Who is the father's favorite child?"

It's actually Kazuki since he's the golden child of the family but for some reason I have a feeling that it's Sakuya...????

I'm guessing it's because the father may have felt guilty for indirectly traumatizing Sakuya after he got sexually harassed by his... mistress who was also his CLIENT (he works as a lawyer). But, well, the father did a really bad job of mending their relationship.

10. "Who is the mother's favorite child?"

Kazuki, no questions asked.

11. "Who is everyone's favorite?"

Both of them. Kazuki would be because he is handsome, smart, kind-hearted, and humble even. For Sakuya, it's because he's literally a model, even if he's not that bright in the head.

12. "Who is the author's favorite?"

SAKUYA 🥰💜💜

13. "Who is the most attractive one?"

I feel like it's both in canon but FOR ME, it's Kazuki because he is the more handsome twin, while Sakuya has that cute baby face xixixi

14. "Who is the most talkative one?"

Sakuya.

15. "Who is the most mature one?"

Kazuki.

16. "Who gives in (to their sibling) more often?"

Kazuki, but not to the point of spoiling Sakuya too much.

17. "How would they react if their sibling had a partner?"

"Oh, congratulations," but deep in their hearts they'd have gone crazy and screaming and crying and screaming... and then they would try to forget their forbidden feelings and search for another partner as well (but failed because they really can't stand it without each other, they're both too attached and dependent)

18. "Do they have the same type of partner? What type of partner are they?"

Their type is literally each other 😭

BUT, if you want me to go into really deep details, Kazuki generally likes someone who is passionate about their interests, whether a hobby or a job, no matter how weird his partner's interests would be. It looks like he prefers younger (but not too young, come on guys, we've ditched that idea!) partners, maybe it's because energetic younger people remembers him of Sakuya? He doesn't mind about his partner's flaw and past as long as they can understand and respect each other. Also bonus points if they have pretty eyes...?

While for Sakuya... I think he's the type to look at his potential partner's appearance first (and he usually prefers someone taller and looks more masculine than him). Of course, he won't treat everyone like that before getting to know them first, but I guess it's just something he will always pay attention to firsthand since he's a model? The second thing is he likes intelligent people like doctors cuz he's a dummy. Kind-hearted is a bonus. He would like it if they have an easygoing personality and wouldn't "tie him down" too much.

Note, they're BOTH gay men.

19. "What do they have in common?"

Their face and gender cuz they're literally identical twins, they have a very strong inner bond as twin brothers, and both of them have die—

20. "What makes them different?"

Their height (Kazuki is the taller one, being approximately 195cm), hairstyle, hair and eye color, personality/temperament (Kazuki is phlegmatic, while Sakuya is a sanguine-melancholic mix)... although in actuality, they are not too different from each other.

21. "What do their siblings have that they don't?"

Sakuya doesn't have his parents' love like Kazuki does HAHAHA

However, on the other way around, Kazuki doesn't have the same freedom as Sakuya who is the black sheep of the family (he was often neglected). His entire life path and "dream" career were all decided by his mother, who's also a doctor. Yes, he is interested in science and he was the one who chose to be a surgeon, but it still doesn't change the fact that his mother literally controlled and groomed him like a puppet because she's such a perfectionist who wants everything to go her way or the normal way (like according to the society or how she was raised).

22. "What are their hobbies?"

Sakuya likes photography and traveling out of the house, while Kazuki likes to read nonfiction books and move his body, either by traveling as well or exercising.

23. "Where do their strengths lie?"

Kazuki: His intelligence, charisma, hiding his feelings… literally everything. His weakness would be how DENSE and INSENSITIVE he is to other people's feelings. Plus, he has a major red flag for being a controller.

Sakuya: Posing/acting in front of the camera (he's probably photogenic as well), expressive, kind-hearted and not arrogant. His weakness would be how emotionally sensitive he actually is... and I think he is terrible at making the right decisions.

24. "Do they sleep in the same room?"

They shared a room together when they were little, but as they grew up they were finally given their own rooms, even though Sakuya's room wasn't very adequate (either it used to be a warehouse or the room was small).

My guess is the parents or one of them may have caught on to something between the brothers or they (more like the mother) thought Sakuya was going to be a "nuisance" for Kazuki (like maybe he'll lose focus and fail his studies or Sakuya was going to "influence" Kazuki in "bad" ways cuz they view him as this "delinquent" child) if they leave them together, but nevertheless, they just had to separate them.

In the end, Sakuya much preferred to sneak in and sleep in his brother's room hehe

25. "Do they celebrate their birthdays together?"

Sometimes they would, since their birthdays are only a day apart, usually the parents would decide to celebrate it together on Kazuki's birthday to make it more efficient. Even so, the center of people's attention was more towards Kazuki, though…

As adults, they no longer do it anymore, as the two of them finally celebrate their birthdays on their respective dates.

26. "Would they want to wear matching clothes?"

They probably would, even if they'll sometimes get embarrassed by it since they're in their mid-thirties already 😂

27. "Would they want to be an only child?"

ABSOLUTELY NOT. They will literally explode from loneliness if they try to live without each other in sight!!

28. "Would they want to switch positions with their sibling?"

No.

29. "Would they want another sibling? If yes, would they want an older sibling or a younger sibling?"

Nope, they're too brocon to want a new little sibling or an older sibling. Just having each other is more than enough!!

30. "Would it be better to sacrifice themself, or their own sibling(s)?"

Of course they'd rather sacrifice themselves for each other!!

31. "Are they a good sibling?"

How to say this... as good as they are, there are definitely one or two things that their sibling(s) don't like.

Kazuki will do anything for Sakuya without thinking twice about his feelings and sometimes, his love is just too much for his little brother who has never even received any sort of love in his life. His intentions are good, but the way he expresses them or how he shows Sakuya just how much he loves him to the point of indirectly murdering someone...

Meanwhile, Sakuya felt envious of Kazuki because throughout his entire life, he had to be his older brother's shadow and everyone paid more attention to him even if he tried so hard to be popular and well-liked.

Despite that, he still loves him because Kazuki is the only one who shines oh so brightly in his gloomy world…

32. "What is something they want to say to their sibling, but have never said the message?"

Kazuki hasn't told Sakuya about how much he loves and how proud he is to him even when it's only because he still managed to live despite everything he had gone through. He knows he has to let Sakuya go one day, and that's why he wants to satisfy himself by being affectionate and spoiling his little brother with love AS HIS OLDER BROTHER until he recovers from all his trauma…

While Sakuya hasn't thanked Kazuki for everything he's done. He wants to tell him how much he loves and admires his handsome and cool big brother… he wants Kazuki to always be by his side forever, even if they had to stay as just brothers and nothing more... he wants Kazuki to pamper him all the time whenever he's sad…

And once again: they haven't expressed their true feelings AT ALL!! THEY HAVEN'T DECLARED THEIR LOVE YET!!!!

OC "Couple" Questions - OVDW Edition

For a quick introduction, the left one (brunette) is Oliver, an archdemon who works as a general officer with anxiety issues and one child. The right one (blonde) is Dewangga, a cherub and a priest, yet he acts like the Devil himself (i.e., killing demons and all). Their dynamic is like mutual pining between "awkward big guy" x "violent smaller guy", though personally I like simply calling them police x (whore) ustaz or crocodile x eagle or DEEP AND HOLIC

Also, the child is actually THEIR secret daughter together, but only Oliver takes care of her cuz Dewangga abandoned his responsibilities as a father by force. Though, he's still at fault here.

Questions are made by Hershel Deercliff. I'll put the image below the cut. Original thread on Twitter (in Indonesian), dated 3rd February 2024.

1. "What were their first impressions of each other?"

Oliver thinks Dewangga is weird and too extreme because he believes himself to be the most "rightful" one and that his actions of massacring demons can be justified just because he's an angel. While Dewangga himself mocks the demon for holding himself back against him or that he's not that serious about catching his ass for committing crimes, and being so meek despite being of a high rank. The cherub doesn't just hate demons, he DESPISES all demons, including Oliver, even if he looks handsome!!

But they had actually met earlier, right before finally running up to each other again and fighting after Dewangga committed his act. The point is, Oliver was confused as to how an angel could be stumbling onto the bushes on the border of the Underworld and Overworld 😂 He was just patrolling around the area, minding his own business, until he found someone falling upside down with his ass upwards.

Dewangga was, of course, embarrassed as HELL because he was caught trespassing and even got his ass stared at by a 1 RANK AND FIVE STARS ARCHDEMON, definitely not the demon he expected to meet right off the bat, whereas his position was very promising right. They bickered for a moment before Dewangga finally ran away (or maybe more accurately, flew away) lmao

2. "Is it a casual relationship or true love? Or somewhere in between?"

Unlabeled relationship????? They started out as enemies THEN turned into enemies with benefits tho... I don't know I'm not an expert at love??

3. "What was each of them's 'oh shit I have feelings for them' moment?"

Do they even realize? At least they realized it after they got separated for good. But what's more to do because they're an angel and a demon, so naturally they can't be together...

4. "Did either of them fight their feelings, or was it easy to accept?"

Dewangga hates himself and doesn't want to accept that he has let himself be carried away by lust, even to the point of throwing away his precious daughter (because she's still an illegitimate child and a literal abomination no matter how you view it). He's an angel, he should've dismissed his strange affection towards Oliver and returned to the right path, but in the end, he really regrets everything like why did he let this happen, why that, etc. He's afraid of what Agares, the other angels, or even Oliver himself would say if they found out that he... uhhh laid a fertilized egg? Besically he's in denial

On the other hand, Oliver is also aware that their relationship is taboo and that it won't be possible because they're from different species (?). Not only that, he's afraid that Dewangga's chastity would be "tainted" if a demon like him keeps hanging around with an angel, and even though he actually loves (and is curious about) him, Oliver feels that they're better off apart for good… even though he knows that they should talk about everything that has happened, like their child and all.

5. "When was their first "I love you"? What prompted it? If neither has said it yet, why?"

Nope. Both of them are afraid of what their relationship will be like in the future and what others will say about them, plus Dewangga doesn't want to be unfaithful to Agares just because he loves a demon but what I want to say is FUC—

6. "WHO'S THE BIG SPOON WHO'S THE LITTLE SPOON TELL ME NOW!!!!!"

Dewangga is the big spoon, Oliver's the little spoon cuz it fits their personality more 😂

7. "What was the biggest obstacle to their relationship?"

Their own selves, of course. They are a pair of an angel and a demon, their goals are different, and their natures are also different. It just goes against God's "teachings", apparently.

I think it's interesting how they're always on different grounds, no matter how much they yearn for each other and no matter how many universes they've passed through... by that I also mean in AUs. They are cursed with the star-crossed lovers trope 😭

8. "What drew them to each other the most?"

Oliver is attracted by Dewangga's fortitude in carrying out his duties even though he is a huge fanatic and his method of execution is very questionable. While Dewangga likes his touch (iykwim), plus Oliver is handsome. Of course he didn't like it at first, but after a while he thinks that Oliver is not like the other demons ahahay

Basically they're just like magnets, attracted to each other yet they can never be together simply because they're from opposing sides and of the same sex, although being gay doesn't really matter in this universe. My man god made the afterlife world gay because the original human world didn't allow him to be gay

Oh, and they are actually drawn to each other because they feel a strange sense of familiarity, as if they have encountered each other before. Oliver realizes who Dewangga is sooner or later, but Dewangga doesn't recall who Oliver is. Spoiler alert: turns out that Dewangga is actually Oliver's long-dead ex-crush (Eda) who got the chance for redemption and to live again but as an angel. As a result, he doesn't remember or even know that he had a life in the Underworld and met Oliver before. Reincarnation? Maybe? But even though Dewangga doesn't consciously remember anything, his body still remembers Oliver's touch AND YES you may take it however you want

It's not like Dewangga's memories are wiped or anything. Those memories of him as Eda in the past belong to Eda only. Basically Dewangga is like a new creature but made with Eda's traumas or core or something, Idk. Does he still count as Eda? But still, Dewangga is Dewangga, Eda is Eda and he's only a being from the distant past...

9. "How long did they know each other before developing feelings?"

IDK????? I NEVER COUNTED IT???? 😭😭😭

Maybe at least 1~3 years (on Earth or the universe's Human World's date)? But if you count it from when Oliver first met Eda, well it was long ago man, don't ask me this I don't even know

10. "What's each other's favorite quality about the other?"

Oliver likes Dewangga who always stands up to his beliefs, has an unwavering will to fulfill his duties in the name of God, and is confident.

Dewangga likes how kind and understanding Oliver is, even though he is a demon, capslock ARCHDEMON even, yet he is a soft boy. He also thinks that Oliver's behavior is like a puppy. He really likes dogs. Do crocodiles count as dogs?

Questions for Twin OCs - Irwin-Lynley Edition

Meet Irwin (left, the boy) and Lynley (right, the girl)!

They are twin siblings of another OC couple of mine, Rurik and Manami, who are an archdemon (highest demon rank in my OCverse) and a sea spirit respectively. This makes them half-demon and half-sea spirits, or as how I'd like to think of them, sea demons. You'll find out more about them below the cut.

Archiving these threads from Twitter and adding a few extra stuff here for easier access. Questions are made by the admins on OCsbase, Twitter. Original thread (in Indonesian) on my Twitter, dated 5th February 2024.

1. "Let's introduce them first!"

Irwin and Lynley are a pair of sailor twins who often explore around the sea in the Underworld (and possibly the Overworld as well) along with Yorino, a bakeneko and close friend of theirs. As sea demons, Irwin has a water-based power, however Lynley has an electric-based power instead. About their age, they're probably around 13~15 in human age.

Until now, they are minor characters in Heaven Prequel of Salvation with no roles in the story YET. They are usually in the same group as the other lovechilds.

2. "Are they identical twins or fraternal?"

Fraternal! Even though they look identical (forcefully)

Though, I have a headcanon that since Lynley looks up to Irwin so much, she intentionally matches her own looks like the way Irwin dresses and how he stylizes his hairstyle 😂

3. "Who's the older sibling? Who's the younger sibling?"

Irwin is the big brother, and Lynley is the little sister. They probably only differ by 1~2 minute tho

4. "Who was created first by the author?"

Irwin of course! Lynley was created, like, a year ago because I suddenly had an impulse to create a jellyfish-themed oc 😂

5. "Are they close?"

So-so. I like to think they often bicker over unnecessary things, even if Lynley adores Irwin lmao

6. "What are their dynamics like?"

Irwin is quiet (to the point he is often mistaken for being mute) but can be very sarcastic and cynical once he speaks, while Lynley is calm and elegant but can become infuriated if something doesn't go her way. Kinda makes me think that their Chinese Zodiac would be Horse if they were born in the human world (for Lynley, at least)

Kinda wanna make them the Brother-Sister Team trope tho (because of the water-electric combo) 🤔 and then Irwin would be the brawn and Lynley the brains.

Their dynamic (along with Higan, their eldest brother) is love triangle, which can be interpreted as either platonic or romantic (I myself prefer platonic for Lynley and romantic for Irwin) however you want it but the point is like this

7. "Are they happy to be twins?"

So-so.

8. "Will they tell everyone that they have a twin? Or that everyone doesn't have to know that they have a twin?"

Irwin is the type to answer if asked and would admit that he has a twin sister, while Lynley who's the Big Brother Worship type (not to Higan tho) maybe will say it proudly but only to her or their closest friends because Irwin himself doesn't like getting the attention? Idk

9. "Do they have other sibling(s) beside their twin?"

Yes, they do! Their older brother, Higan. Their ages are far apart, at least 10 years. Unfortunately, the brother rarely comes home because of daddy issues, so the three of them rarely see each other 😔

Their relationship is pretty comedic to me with the love triangle thingy. Irwin wants Higan to notice him (implied big brother attraction?), but Higan responds by ignoring his achievements and whatsoever. Meanwhile, Higan wants to dote on Lynley and make her coo up to him (because his true ideal little sibling is a GIRL), but Lynley in turn ignores her eldest brother the way he ignores her slightly older brother as revenge.

10. "What are their similarities? For identical twins, apart from their physique."

??? They have ahoges, the same clothing style (sailor uniforms), the same hairstyle (bangs parted from the middle)... and they both are sea demons...

11. "What makes them different physically? If they're fraternal twins, tell us what's unique about them."

The point is that Lynley's unique characteristic is she looks like a jellyfish if seen from the back or based on her silhouette... and Irwin is the tallest one out of his siblings...??

Oh, and Irwin only has one ahoge pointing upwards, while Lynley has two ahoges pointing downwards. Irwin's genderbend (female) self also has long hair, but not wavy like Lynley and is slightly messy.

12. "What differentiates them from their personality?"

I guess Irwin has more self-restraint than Lynley...

13. "Who is most often compared to their twin?"

Maybe Irwin because there's a slight favoritism from their father (to Lynley) 😭

But I think both of them are equally smart, Rurik just needs a reason to nag at his SON because his true ideal child is a GIRL

14. "Do they have the same type of partner? Would they switch their partners if told to? Hehe"

I actually haven't decided but based on which character I ship them with, it seems that both of them are attracted to older partners hmmm.....

Though, I think maybe Lynley would have preferred a golden retriever partner or someone who could let her relax and play around for once. cough Yorino cough

15. "Lastly, how do they view and feel towards their twin?"

Overall, Irwin doesn't seem to mind Lynley looking up to and admiring him, even though it annoys him sometimes when she gets too far or talks too much. However, I don't think Irwin can actually get angry at Lynley, cuz she's his little sister after all and she went through the same abuse from their father (although Lynley had it a bit easier), so he still has that big brother instinct in him. And besides, he's not the type to overthink what others think of him. Though if he could, he would be the type to act like nothing happened the next day.

While for Lynley to Irwin, it's been said or implied plenty that she adores her big brother to the point of idolizing him (but not too extreme like ACTUALLY worshipping him). Though, she doesn't look like the type to constantly pester Irwin every second with girly "kyaa"s and "sugoi desuwa oniisama!", and besides, she's aware that even her adored big brother has his own flaws. Quick note that she only adores Irwin as her "older brother in shining scales" (because he's a sea dragon) and (possibly) only views him in a platonic way.

Thanks to the boat’s fairly fast speed, the wind blew her black hair, which looked shiny. Once in a while, Manami would tuck her hair behind her ear so as to not obstruct her view from the sea that looked gleaming with light. In silence, Hasuko found herself adoring the beautiful scene before her.

“Nevertheless, the sea is still incredible. Hasn't life begun from the sea?” She smiled. Despite her friendly face, Hasuko could see the strange emptiness in her eyes.

In the end, the sea embraced her. Becoming one with something she feared once in her entire lifetime.

Tranquil Flame - Introduction

'Tranquil Flame' is one of my main two OC stories. It follows the story of Red and Rein, on their attempt to reach a place they call 'Utopia'; a place where they can have a different and better life from their previous home.

A short summary of Tranquil Flame:

On a certain earth, Human coexists with another race called 'Therian', a humanoid race that can shapeshift into an animal. There has been an ongoing feud between Human and Therian, which makes them unable to live in peace together. However, as the society advances, some people make efforts to establish a harmony between the two races. While it is somewhat successful, some countries still struggle to intergrate the two races into a united society.

Red is a young boy from a small village in Ertose, Ezmunch. Ezmunch is notorious for a country with high racism especially to Therian Wolf, that it even segregates Therian Wolf people within a large forest named Dusk Forest. Despite the racism problem, Red manages to befriend a Therian Wolf boy named Rein in the past. However, they have not seen each other for years after an accident involving Red's brother, Snow. Until one day, Rein shows up in front of Red's house during a Werewolves Siege.

As both have turned into teenagers, Red initially doesn't recognize Rein. Rein reminds him of their childhood promise of going on an adventure together. Pondering on his current family situation where his father has fallen so low with his gambling addiction and Red wishes to get a better life for Snow's sake, Red agrees to leave with Rein. However, as they run away on a whim, Red and Rein don't have a specific place to go at first. When they find out the world outside Ezmunch, they become determined to just collect as much money as possible, then live together on a place where Human and Therian can peacefully coexist; and when that day comes, Red wants to take Snow from their old house and makes him live together on their 'Utopia'.

This story is BL, focusing on Red and Rein's relationship as their feeling blooms into something stronger. They also meet new friends as they get into different places. More info about the characters is below the cut.

• Red

Species: Human

Red is the main character of the story. As he had lost his mother at the age of 7 after she gave birth to his brother, Red was forced to mature too early. Red was the one who took care of house chores and the mother role in their house, even to the point that he became the mother figure for his brother. As a result, Red didn't have time to properly socialize with children of his age. Shouldered by the responsibilities he was not supposed to handle, Red became cold and rigid to the point that he couldn't even smile. He takes everything seriously and doesn't tolerate fooling around, or even entertain the idea of having fun. Red is also stubborn and not easily swayed, so he always goes through with his mind. Taking care of his brother for his whole childhood also caused Red to develop a protective streak to people he considers close. Red doesn't talk a lot, but is surprisingly quick to anger. Despite being rather quiet, Red is very sharp-tongued and is not afraid to voice his opinion, no matter how harsh it is. After staying with Rein and meeting a lot of new people, Red has learned to loosen up and let his emotions show more.

• Rein

Rein is one of the sons of the esteemed Olbrich Family, whose father was the current village chief on the beginning of the story. Growing up with a strange yet not fully understood power which makes him insanely strong (physically), Rein was forced to keep his emotions in check because his parents were afraid if Rein got sufficiently angry he could wreak havoc to his surroundings. As a result, Rein became passive and obedient yet eager to please others. Rein is not quite intelligent, and combined with his placid nature he was often bullied during his childhood. Rein never fought back because he was forbidden to raise his fist. Due to this, other children thought he was a wimp for never fighting back.

At some point, he met Red when the two accidentally bumped on each other in Dusk Forest. The two eventually became friends, although they separated ways before reuniting in their teenage years. Wishing for a world where he can have a peaceful life and accepted by others, Rein risked himself to get out of Dusk Forest and lived among humans. Rein is very patient and loves to meet new people, although due to his upbringing Rein never really talks about himself and what's on his mind. Despite living while hiding his real identity as a Therian is tough, Rein believes he can get through everything as long as he is together with Red.

• Kiriko

Kiriko is a human girl whom Red and Rein met when they arrived at Karmost, Ezmunch's neighboring country. Because she has been living her whole life as a sheltered daughter of a rich and famous scientist, Kiriko was excited to meet new friends and offered them a job on her house. Kiriko was a child genius who had helped with her father's inventions since she was little, and she is an expert in creating robots. However as she grew up, her father started to take more unethical experiments and forced Kiriko to be his accomplice. He put Kiriko under constant fear to make her obedient. Kiriko is not allowed to go outside without her father permission. As a result, she spends a lot of time indoor and working with her machines or computer programs. Even though Kiriko likes to tinker with machines, she really concerns about her looks. On the rare time when her father allows her to step outside, Kiriko likes to go shopping, trying new clothes, and going to beauty salon. Kiriko maintains a cheerful face and optimistic views on life despite she has her life under absolute control of her father and being constantly pressured. Kiriko admires Red and Rein for being able to run away from their place, and wants to follow their path. She believes someday, she can eventually get her freedom and lives on her own accord without needing to obey other people. That's why she endures everything and resolves to never give up.

• Marie

Marie is a quirky girl with strange powers inside her, which make her a bit unstable although she is mostly fine when Red and Rein know her. She lost her family when she was 2 years old due to an unknown accident, and subsequently taken under her aunt's care. However, Marie turned out to be a creepy child who had a terrifying obsession to dismember animals and harmed other children, so her aunt locked her in the attic. During her isolation, Marie went almost insane due to the lack of social interaction and the voices inside her head, made by the 'entities' that give her power. One day, her aunt's son, Oz, suddenly opened the attic door despite being forbidden to do so. Oz wasn't afraid of Marie and was willing to be her friend. Touched with Oz's kindness, Marie is willing to devote her whole life for Oz even though she hates the whole world for making her suffer.

After having a falling out with her aunt, Marie left her aunt's house with Oz following her. Marie kept her distance from other people because Oz told her so. As a result, both of them became outcasts. Marie worked on a slaughterhouse sometime after because she felt that it can 'sate' her sadistic urge to dismember and harm others. While working there, at some point she got to know Red and Rein. Despite her best efforts to avoid them, she eventually became their friend. Marie has a huge influence on Red's sense of humor and tendencies to prank others, because Marie herself is a prankster. When she has her sound mind, Marie is quite perceptive to her surroundings. Marie doesn't like to be ordered by other people and has a very high sense of individuality, so she always acts on her own. She is very hard to read and be understood.

• Oz

Oz is Marie's cousin. Lived with overbearing, perfectionist mother who is also a devout religious, Oz never grew a spine to stand for himself. The first time Oz went against his mother was when he unlocked the attic door and found Marie, and decided to be her friend. Despite his mother's objection, she eventually relented because Marie never harmed him. Because Oz hung out with Marie too much, he also became friendless. Oz really likes Marie and wants to stay by her side no matter what, to the point that he even decided to follow Marie when she left his house. He also befriends Red and Rein first before they become Marie's friends. Oz is cautious, diligent, and likes to plan things thoroughly. Oz is easily intimidated and sort of a doormat due to his upbringing, however he is aware about this shortcoming. As a result, he likes to write his personal opinions on his journal. Often, his writings sound very harsh and judgmental. Being raised in an overly religious environment also makes Oz hard to accept views outside of what he believes, although he sometimes tries to compromise if it's concerning his friends. Like Marie, Oz is also quite perceptive, although he never voices out his opinions.

• Iris

Iris is the daughter of a famous baker in Glessa, Bredynn. She became acquainted with Red and Rein after her father hired them to work on his bakery. While normally sweet and demure, Iris is also kinda selfish and wants things to go her way, and sometimes is prone to impulsive anger when she is upset about something. Despite having such a bad attitude, Iris actually lives quite normally and not an outcast or loner like other characters mentioned before. She is also diligent and is willing to improve on skills she is lacking. While Iris has a good relationship with Red and considers him like her brother, Iris hates Rein because she is jealous that he is popular and well-liked by people. Rein being her partner with delivery jobs doesn't help her case, and as a result Iris is very mean to him. Iris also vents her anger and frustration to Rein, unaware that her action has bad consequences. Deep down, Iris suffers from inferiority-superiority complex and believes she is inadequate to inherit her family's bakery because she can't bake well. Iris also has survivor guilt because she outlives her siblings who died after a werewolf attack. As a result, Iris is very racist to werewolf and really hates them. Ironically, Iris doesn't know that Rein is a werewolf, although she is still not amicable to him for a whole different reason.
