I was reading a couple chapters of know it’s for the better and man I miss writing my silly little trolls fic… Unfortunately my health has just gotten worse, now both of my wrists are very bad (instead of only my right) as well as the last couple weeks my left shoulder, I’m waiting on an appointment to discuss my options since physical therapy didn’t help enough and I’m struggling to work. Also they discovered a huge tumor in my beloved cat's head and she has very little time left.

Eventually I will finish writing this though :)

My cardiologist appointment is today 💪 (an alleged patient in his reviews accused him of blood trafficking but let’s ignore that)

finally headed toward getting a diagnosis!!

Had my appointment today and am getting referred to a cardiologist. My general doctor thinks I have "one foot in POTS, one foot in something else" as some of my symptoms are often more unpredictable than they would be with just POTS, and some of them not characteristic of POTS at all

It’s a month after I stopped writing and my cat has now gotten completely better, and a lot of my symptoms have begun to let up a little bit (probably temporarily, again - but still for the longest stretch of time this year) after getting worse for months

Know It’s for the Better will still likely be on hold for a long while yet. But I have my doctors appointment finally next week after waiting a couple months. Hopefully being referred to a cardiologist or other actual specialist from there, rather than being told to 'come back in a few months' again :)

TLDR; Having some (suspected cardiac) issues that've been getting worse for a while now. I’ll try to work a little on Know It’s for the Better, but updates will be rare until whatever's going on is figured out (hopefully soon), sorry!

The chest pain's been going on for four or five years, but the past several months it’s gotten way more unpredictable. I finally spoke to a doctor in June after almost collapsing at work and was partially shrugged off. Since, other 'symptoms' and 'events' have continued to become far more frequent and intense. It used to be that most of the most intense stuff happened during prolonged physical activity. Now, it’s pretty often also happening just from walking around, or even being at rest. Every, single day

It’s a constant cycle of things being unstable, eventually seeming to get more stable, then within days either gradually or very suddenly getting unstable once again. A nurse called last month and told me to go to the hospital immediately next time any intense stuff happened (ive continued putting it off anyway; my bad). Can’t get another doctor appointment until mid September, w the same doctor who doesn’t seem to believe it can be serious since I’m “too young”… whereas the nurse on the other hand said she thinks I “need to be seen a lot sooner than” September ?

Enough said: it’s very distracting. I am continuing this fic!! I love this fic and have everything left for it planned out in-depth. But chapters may come out very slowly, or may not even come out at all until I can get this figured out <3

(I don’t even care much anymore if the diagnosis/issue itself will be a ‘big deal’ — I just need the pain/'symptoms' to be stopped or at least numbed and I’d be content enough with that, so that I can focus on things like writing again, and work normally :))
