I don't normally fuck with photo modes in video games but I find free roam in Mario Kart World so relaxing, it feels like i'm taking a road trip with the Mario characters, and what do you do on a road trip? You make memories. I'm kind of shy about asking actual people if I can take pictures with/of them, so this is kind of letting me live that dream a bit. It's also just a really nice looking game... though there are some pretty low resolution textures I may not have noticed if I hadn't slowed down to take pictures ( like the fruit stand in Shy Guy Bazaar for example ), but I can forgive them when the game is so solid.

Also that Waluigi photo is kind of an in joke with my friends. We do stupid improv as Mario characters when we play together. When we were playing, I got a very good lead and got cocky saying "wow it's so nice how nothing bad is happening", and of course I turn too sharply, and get stuck behind a little barrier next to a Yoshi's Diner for a solid 10 seconds. My friend starts improving Waluigi stopping at fast food joint and getting stuck with a very slow witted teenage server that tells him there's going to be a wait on chicken ( it's okay, Im a fast food worker, and it's all true. )

Did Luigi go to points he knew Mario would have to cross on his way back to Professor Frankly because he was so excited to share his stories with his big bro??

If so, that makes the already tired, overused, and meanspirited gag of Mario falling asleep to Luigi's tales look even worse.

So the Mario movie wasn't the first thing to call him Lou/Lu, huh?

Before getting on the train, I made a bunch of different food items. Both to fill out the recipe log and because Mario is the kind of guy who would pack an entire buffet's worth or food for a 3 day trip.
