So I dunno about you, but I think cats are pretty great. And eyes are really interesting. Thus, cat eyes are just totally way awesome. I’m referring to the mammal, not the makeup effect, if that wasn’t clear (although if you can do a nice cat eye with makeup, I salute you).

There are three things you need to know about cat eyes. Number one, they have more eyelids than you do. Haw, haw. 

Number two, they contain carpets behind the retinas.

And number three, there is a very good reason for why they are slit-shaped instead of round.
