I drew Farrah and Ashlynn for a separate post because i imagined them as a two-pack!!!

These designs were sm fun to do,i especially loved drawing the robes!!!

Every mother's day, Cinderella takes a trip to a nearby lake to visit an old friend.

Every mother's day, Cinderella's one wish is to just spend time with her daughter. 

To hear her daughter's laugh, see her daughter's smile, feel her daughter's warmth. She doesn't want any flowers, any jewelry, nor any chocolate. The time spent together is a gift unto itself. She wants to know as much as she can about Ashlynn's life. her friends, her classes, her troubles.

When the day is over and she bids her daughter goodnight, she heads to her bedroom with her husband already waiting inside. The first night she met him, she ran away from him, carriages turning into pumpkins and all. Tonight, he meets her eyes with a knowing yet still so charming smile. He hands her her cloak and a basket and kisses her on the cheek. Laughing, she returns the kiss.

Quietly, she slips out of the castle. 

Living with her stepfamily had taught her all about knowing how to move without drawing any sound. The consequences were harsh and cruel as she had unfortunately learned. Soon, she is out of the stone walls and headed to the nearby wishing well portal. She speaks the name of her destination and steps in. A lush green forest meets her as she steps out. The moon is full and the night is still. her feet follow a familiar path and soon she sees what she came for.

A gorgeous glittering lake, it's shine no diamond could ever hope to replicate. The surrounding clearing a deep green with dots of flowers. 

And at the center of the water, sits a lone white swan. 

(Perhaps every other soul in the forest knew to give this creature some space on this night.)

Cinderella moves forward undeterred. As she reaches the water's edge, she places her hand into the basket and retrieves a soft cream cloth and lays it on the grass. She sits and starts humming. 

Princesses are known to be best friends with animals, but everyone knew that Cinderella was the one who could actually talk with them. Soon, the swan approaches her, drawn to the music.

She stops humming and the swan huffs. Cinderella chuckles and fights the tears building up in her eyes. It does not help that she also notices a nearby patch of recently flattened grass, as if the swan had another visitor earlier that day. 

She wipes her tears away and begins to speak to her old roommate, her best friend.

First, she talks about the weather, about simple things. Then she switches to speak about their old classmates, what the rest of their batch had been up to recently. Next, she speaks about her own family, her husband and her daughter. Finally, she talks about her friend's daughter, Duchess. She doesn’t know much, granted. but she still knows enough. 

She talks about how Duchess is lauded as the best dancer in school. How she’s friends with a musician thief and a fae cheerleader. How she helped shut down a business that had been draining toxins into a nearby forest. 

Cinderella doesn’t know exactly how the evil wizard’s magic worked. How much of the curse took away from the once most graceful dancer in the land. Did it take her mind away as well? Along with the rest of her humanity? Did it leave her with any dignity at all?

But the swan hasn’t left. 

It had stayed still near the water’s edge and made no sound through it all. Though her voice cracking, through her sobs escaping, through her tears staining her dress and her blanket beneath her. The waters perfectly calm as if no creature was treading its surface. Cinderella likes to think that the swan hears her voice and looks proud.

After all, every mother deserves to know about their child.

Heather is literally one of the most amazing, stunning and detailed SH dolls ever. And, to those who hate on her hair and makeup, she’s literally a Special Effects MAKEUP focus.

Also G3 Iris is adorable in the show, and has some serious potential to be made into a great doll (fingers crossed).

A good chunk of the doll community has no idea what the spectrum of alt fashion and makeup is REALLY like because there's no way so many of you ask for more alt dolls and then hate on Heather Grayson or g3 Iris Clops in the same breath.
