In Italian "mom" is "mamma".
So I generally just scream a short and loud "MÀ!" towards her direction, and she knows I'm talking to her!
Same things with my dad!
In Italian "dad" is "papà". For short "PÀ!"
They never liked being called Mami! (Mommy) or Papi! (Daddy). They actually hate it, so we just do that when we want to get on their nerves! HAHAHAHAHA
what do u guys call ur moms ??? idk why this is so fascinating to me but in english i call my mom “mom” but in romanian i call her “mami” mostly or if im annoyed then “mama” ??? most ppl ive met call theirs mom though

TheReading Rush 2020 booklr challenge
(created by @belle-anne-the-book )
Q: What’s a book that you have a unique story reading behind?
A: I don’t have a lot of interesting story reading, behind my reads, usually the most interesting things happen in the book, not outside, but I'll try...
There's this time in particular, that I remember very clearly. It is about a book that I've read for last year Reading Rush (2019).
The book was "Iris Fiori Di Cenere" by Maurizio Temporin.
I really wanted to reread it, because the last time I had read it I was in middle school, and the Reading Rush, was the perfect occasion to do that.
Unfortunately that week had been very hectic!
My "sister" from Poland, came to visit us with her husband and her (adorable but stressful) little ray of sunshine! My adorable little nephew!
She is not actually my sister, but she lived in my house for 3 months for a cultural exchange when I was in high school and now she is part of our family!
Well... During that week we traveled a lot, so I brought the book with me wherever we went.
I also had sometimes a little "help" from my nephew, who found it funny to flip the pages, while I was reading, or just scream in my direction because he wanted attention.
There's also a page with a little footprints, because he stepped on the book while I was reading lying on the ground, because it was the only place in the house with an acceptable temperature.
It has been extremely challenging, but I remember it fondly! ❤️

#RRBookPet
Day 3. Take a photo of your current read and your pet!
(Again late to the party, but I wanna join the fun anyway!)
In my home it is not permitted to have animals, my mom has phobias and my brother has allergies, so the nearest thing I have to a pet, are these plants.
And I find it really funny at the moment, while reading Good Omens! Some of them are older than me, and one of them I kind of consider as a twin, even though it actually is older than me, because it is a present to my parents the day I was born! I really love them!

Q: What is a book that reminds you of your pet (or a pet that you would want)?
A: Well the most similar thing to a pet that I own, are the plants. So I would say "Good Omens" because sometimes I kind of act like Crowley with them...
Tumblr media
But besides that I would probably say the book of "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", because zi alway wished to have a black cat, but my little brother have an allergy so we can't have one at home!
Tumblr media
But sometimes I "borrow" my best friend's cat, which is named Salem! 🙏🏻😍

Q: Which fashion from a book or a character do you wish was acceptable to wear everyday?
A: Well... This one is pretty difficult... The first one that came to my mind is Dominique de Sade from the manga Vanitas no Carte.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at her outfits! The second one is my favorite! 🙏🏻
I really wish I could go around dressed like that without looking like a totally crazy person...
That would be amazing! 😍❤️

_"Canone Inverso" by Paolo Maurensig. It is really interesting and challenging I'm probably going to read it again soon.
🏃🏻‍♀️Start line_A book that you started but never finished.
_"Allegiant" by Veronica Roth. I can't read it. I was waiting for the Italian release ogmf the book, and a girl who already read it in English decided to spoil it to me and to all the people who were with us during the Divergent meeting that she organized.
🏃🏻‍♀️Sprint_A book you read really quickly.
_The books from the Narnia Chronicles, the Vampire Academy and the Riordan Verse.
🏃🏻‍♀️Marathon_What's your favorite long book?
_I have a lot, but the one that came to my mind right now is "The shadow of the wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I really enjoyed reading it! 🙏🏻❤️
🏃🏻‍♀️Hurdles_A book that had up and down.
_No particular one came to my mind at the moment...
🏃🏻‍♀️Finish line_A book you were proud to finish.
_"The Lunenburg Variation" by Paolo Maurensig, this book has been a real challenge
🏃🏻‍♀️Gold medal_Best book you've read during a readathon?
_"Iris. Fiori di cenere" by Maurizio Temporin. One of my favorite books from last year The Reading Rush.
🏃🏻‍♀️Participation ribbon_An underrated book you wish you got more attention.
_The "Das Tal" series by Krystyna Kuhn. A German series that I really love, unfortunately in Italy we only have the first two books, but I really hope the will bring us the others too. I've been waiting for ten years, at the time I read them with my babysitter! Hahaha And we are still waiting for news about the Italian release of the other books of the series. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

#RRBookCosplay
Day 2. Cosplay a Book Character.
Last year, with a group of very talented cosplayer friends, we decided to start a cosplay group PJO themed!
It was really fun! We had a picnic in a really striking place in Rome, and we took a few picture.
If you want to see our pictures I'll leave you here a few links!

Senza riuscire a controllarmi, ho cominciato a piangere e ridere allo stesso tempo.

E cantando dentro di me, come una formula magica: parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Era l’alba. Il tappeto grigio della mia stanza sembrava diventato biancastro e chiaro. Dietro  la finestra il cielo era di un azzurro sfumato, attraversato dalle sagome degli uccelli.
