forgot to share these when i finished it a few months ago, but i customized this little mononykus figure i thrifted !!

it was rather beat up when i got it so i thought i'd touch it up :) based off a turkey vulture since i wanted to just do a simple repaint and the base sculpt had both distinct skin and feathering. i DID however sand the teeth off because they looked stupid and monoykus barely have teeth anyways.......

heres the OG figure, honestly not a terrible paint scheme (though i dont really like the bright yellow legs)

pleasant valley airport (or what's left of it) july 2025

one of the two places along this road that got their lease renewals denied that forced them to close in favor of Other Opportunities for the land or something of that sort... the other was a community-beloved and arguably historic racetrack that now has new construction happening on its land (rumor has it that its a solar farm)

this is barely scratching the surface of the stuff left here btw, ill be back in the future most likely since this area is pretty large. tons of cool stuff. all the buildings were demolished seemingly immediately after closure but plenty of items are scattered around. a good amount of vehicle parts, big building foundations, bottles (both alcohol and medicine), and so so much more. also its trespassing but i kind of dont really care at all

do NOT pay attention to the blurriness of this photo the ground was maybe 120ºF (very literal) and i was not going to kneel down on that for longer than i had to i took this very quickly

also this was shot at an awesome abandoned airport near my house i have more pics from it ill post them next

these were ANNOYING to set up but i had a Vision and couldnt not do it. ended up having to use a big stick to hold up pachy (though guanlong shockingly balanced on its own). despite that im really happy with how they came out and the colors are So nice i think
