wanted to show my work in progress right now

i got a really cheap hammond rex from target a month or two ago and decided that since i now had three i wanted to modify my older rex (worse joints, bad eye quality) and make it an “accurate” rex ! just have to finish the bottom lip and then work on some body modifications (fixing the feet, un-shrinkwrappifying the midsection as best i can) and then i can paint her

Man, I haven't been collecting Mattel's Jurassic Park/World figures as much as I used to, but the upcoming Hammond Collection figures of Giganotosaurus and Therizinosaurus are definitely must-haves.

And since they seem to be primed for a May 22nd release, per Target's app, then they ought to be perfectly timed to be birthday gifts to my son.

Guess I should also plan to get the Hammond Collection T-Rex to go with, but they'll probably still go nicely with the Kenner-style retro T-Rex I already have.

And, for that matter, the Giga would make a perfect Monsterverse Gorosaurus when paired with the big Playmates Godzilla figures.

Very glad there’s finally Hammond Collection stuff here, this isn’t the most accurate Concavenator out there but it’s definitely one of JW’s better designs (apart from that fourth finger.) Really cool articulation (best part is you can get rid of the pronated hands lmao) and insanely good balance
