#omg#actually kinda excited about this#i just hope they get the actual themes of the book#because yes. the love triangle is crucial to the story#but i feel like the book is essentially an analysis and critic of the gilded age society#it explores sooo many interesting things. especially women in that society#which leads me to say. i hope they make an effort with its portrayal of may. she's THE character of all time !!#the age of innocence
