Whether you are an old hat or a newbie, I am so glad to have gotten the chance to work with you and watch you grow.

I will forever be in support of free open source software, and Krita so far has worked amazingly for personal and freelance illustration work (and a little for animation! But definitely not its strong suit)

It's true the default brushes of Krita are a little lacking if you're a digital painter like myself, so I took to the Krita-artists forum (here!) where you can see how and when the program is updated to new versions, and also see creations, tools, and brushes all made by other artists!

This is where I source my brush packs, go support these artists if you can! Their brush packs are free and are staples in my work <3

emilm - impasto and textured paint brushes. baked in lighting gives you a very realistic painting, except its digital!

Clooms - Dry & Dirty bundle, great for illustrative texture!

Rakurri - Good for the more graphical folks! It also includes a great few brushes for pixel art, which I use a ton! Generally its a great all-round set, something for everybody!

Lur-Noise - GREAT inking set, I mostly use this one for hand written text. Of course, all of these resources are free, but I highly recommend anyone who is able to support these artists if they have a donation box.

WAKFU SEASON 5:

As Yugo and Amalia get ready to rule over the Sadida kingdom, a new threat rears its head. Count Harebourg, who has merged with the Eliacube, launches a campaign of conquest to restore the glory of Frigost, the nation he rules. Iz, the king of Odessa, has been defeated and his daughter Croco has been captured. At the same time, strange spiders controlled by a dark force are infiltrating the Sadida kingdom. The political tensions, betrayals and buried secrets of the five Sadida clans will forge or shatter the kingdom's unity.

WELSH & SHEDAR

Zabelle Sheran Sharm, queen of Bonta and guardian of the Ebony Dofus, dreams of uniting the nations of the World of Twelve. But her tyrannical reign and thirst for power have plunged the lands into misery. A prophecy, proclaimed by her son Shedar, foretells her fall and that a boy with azure blue eyes will bring an end to her power.

This boy is Welsh, a young cook from Brassica. His life is upended when a black dragon, Asalar, attacks his village. To save his world, Welsh must find the Ivory Dofus, the only artifact capable of defeating Zabelle. Accompanied by his faithful friend Béchamel and the adventurers Joris and Khan Karkass, Welsh discovers his true origins and embraces his fate as a hero. Together, they must face unsuspected dangers to free the World of Twelve from Zabelle's clutches.

MORSHIKEN

In the World of Twelve, where adventurers seek glory and loot, Morshiken, a troubled Sram, is trying to manage his dungeon... A ruin that smells so bad that everyone with a nose (or snout) stays far away. Broke and caught in a constant losing cycle, our hero is desperately trying to keep his business afloat. Luckily, he can count on SDF, a Iop rapper who's surprisingly wise (for a Iop).  Plot twist: Morshiken can break the fourth wall, complain about the narrative, and try - often in vain - to change his fate. Between absurd comedy and biting satire, Morshiken offers a new look at the DOFUS universe through the lens of an improbable quest: turning a broken-down dungeon into a legendary spot.

WAVEN

In a world ravaged by a magical cataclysm that swallowed most of the land and erased the memories of the few survivors, a new era of chaos and piracy is dawning. In the center of this broken world, an unlikely but fearsome heroine is trying to survive with her exceptional skills. Nicknamed "The Maimed" in the arenas, this one-eyed, one-armed captain sets off on a perilous and mysterious quest with a wild child, a grumpy seagull and a crew of misfits. Between epic battles, heart-wrenching revelations and unstable magic, Waven explores the theme of rebuilding a world...

The Annecy festival is next week, so we might get some trailers and potentially dates for some of these projects! For Waven though, it won't be coming until after season 5 has released.
