I have to laugh sometimes at people in YouTube comments section, that constantly go to videos of a show just to bash it. If you don’t like a drama that’s absolutely fine but why take the time and effort to shit on it and leave pointless & nasty comments under videos of that drama and then try to make fun of & belittle those that do enjoy it. Also for someone who claims to hate the drama they sure know a lot about it. Just let people enjoy what they enjoy and get on with your life.

Not gonna lie that last part made me burst out laughing.
But on a serious note, this is so true. Asia is a huge continent with multiple countries, all of which contain their own cultures. If you don’t know where something is from look it up and educate yourselves. You clearly have access to the internet. There’s really no excuse.
Japan, Korea & China are completely different and only make up a fraction of Asia as a whole. If you can’t figure that out maybe you need to go back to school for some basic history & geography lessons, cause you’re obviously in need of them!
FRIENDLY REMINDER:
Mixing up Korean, Chinese, and Japanese culture, language, and media intentionally or calling it "the same thing" and "asian crap" isn't funny or quirky in any way. You aren't edgy, you're embarassing and racist and rude.
Calling Kpop Chinese is a stupid movie cuz you should know the difference between the letters: K and C. In what universe does Korean start with a C?
Now go stick a vibrating dildo up your ass cuz you cant find a boo, and listen to that Yummy Yummy Yum Justin Belieber fuckery.

Just a gentle reminder for tumblr users with anxiety, panic disorders or who get nervous quickly:
- Chain mail, “reblog this or..” posts etc. don’t work. They’re not real. Nothing bad will happen if you don’t forward that mail or reblog that post.
- “If you don’t reblog this, you’re a bad person” is a lie. You’re not a bad person for not clicking a button.
- You are allowed to unfollow blogs that post triggering contents.
- You’re not weak or a crybaby for avoiding things that are triggering. Far from it, you’re taking care of yourself. That’s amazing!

I just want to give him the biggest hug! This scene pulled at my heart. I think this was the moment where he truly accepted that he was going to lose Tak Dong-Kyung. He finally allowed himself in that moment to let himself feel. Up until this point he had been the strong one holding it all together, but in this moment he allowed himself to feel the pain & grief in the knowledge that he would lose the one person he loves & who truly loved him. Such a beautiful but heartbreaking moment💔
Whatever we try, we won’t be able to escape our fate.

The first time I saw this scene it went over my heard.
Okay, Myul Mang affects his surroundings, cool, that's part of his existence since he's basically the personification of destruction. He said he didn't do it but it is because of him.
So, I didn't think much of it until some people pointed out that it is his emotions that affect his environment based on how strong they are. And apparently, it's true because this anomaly does not happen at random. Like how the lights flickered when he held Dong Kyung's hand, that was probably his heart fluttering.
His anger was evident when he was walking in the street and through the corridor to get to court.
His indignation was pretty obvious as well in the scene with Son Yeo Shin.
So, his emotions affect his surroundings, that's established.
And here comes this scene.
Notice that the lights started to flicker when Dong Kyung held Myul Mang's hand. Yes, that part. Even with his memories erased Dong Kyung swayed his emotions. *dramatic pause while I sob at the corner*
Then the flickering stopped when he knew she was not in pain anymore. 🥺🤧
😩🤚 And here is where my brain cells stopped working, my friends.

WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ‘DOOM AT YOUR SERVICE’ READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!!
Doom At Your Service Thoughts So Far. (Based on Episodes 1-14)
Tonight’s episode hit me right in the feels, I’m not ready for this drama to end but at the same time I need to know how it’s all going to play out.
God/Deity: So first off, I’m undecided if God/Deity is a friend of foe 🤔. At times it’s seems like she’s trying to help them & other times it feels like she’s just messing with them so I dunno. It also annoys me with how cryptic she always is, like I know that’s kind of her thing and everything but still. It would also seem that the flower she’s tending to represents Doom, but what is the endgame with it? Also I kind of think the flower might represent Tak Dong-Kyung or at least her love for Doom, don’t ask me why it’s just this niggling that the flower isn’t just about him.
The Love Triangle Situ: Honestly at this point I think I would prefer Na Ji-Na ended up with neither of them. While I do think she has better connection with Joo-Ik, and I think overall he would be a better fit for her, he still wasn’t fully truthful with her about everything from the beginning. I think Ji-Na needs to take the time by herself get to know herself & really decide about what it is she wants. She needs to become comfortable being her own person before jumping into a relationship but that’s just my personal take. Also I called it from the start that Joo-Ik always had feelings for her, the way he was with her & how he cared for, you don’t just do that for anyone. Lee Hyun-Gyu to me just seems really immature throughout & although he claims to be taking responsibility now, he’s still somewhat blaming things on everyone else. Also the fact that every time he met with Ji-Na it felt like he never really took the time to properly listen to her, and how she felt. Same goes for Joo-Ik he never really stopped to ask his explanation or feelings until the situation forced his hand if you will. He seemed very inconsiderate & oblivious to those around him.
Other Thoughts: I absolutely adore Tak Song-Kyung I think he’s really stepped up to be there for his sister. He might be a bit of a numpty at times but he has a good heart and it’s obvious how much he cares for his sister and the people around him. I also really liked the scenes between him & Ji-Na, I liked seeing the sort of sibling relationship between them and how they’re supporting each other, knowing they’re going to lose someone they love dearly it’s nice that Song-Kyung knows he won’t be alone.
I do wish we had more scenes though with Tak Dong-Kyung’s former coworkers though, they seem like an interesting trio and I wished we could’ve seen more of them all interacting with each other.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Title: Mr Queen (철인왕후)
Country: South Korea
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [TW: Mentions of death, attempted suicide, attempted murder, physical violence, depictions of torture, dubious consent (in terms of two souls possessing one body, and one soul having more control over the physical body at different points)] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This was actually a pretty good drama. I didn’t really know what to expect going into it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Im not usually one for historical dramas but I actually really enjoyed this one. I liked how it made me both laugh & cry at different points, and how it was both serious & lighthearted throughout. I found that it had a nice balance of both. The palace politics system was pretty interesting too.
The cast of characters were fun & interesting to watch. I liked seeing the duality of So Yong/Bong Hwan and seeing the character trying to piece things together whilst surviving palace life.
I did feel that the pacing could be a little slow at times but it didn’t bother me too much and didn’t hinder my overall enjoyment. There were also a few sketchy things that I wasn’t too sure about but as they pertained to the overall story I could understand why they were written in.
Overall I rather enjoyed Mr.Queen and would recommend it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Title: Angel Beside Me (เทวดาท่าจะรัก)
Country: Thailand
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~This series popped up in my recommendations on YouTube & I’m so glad it did. I really enjoyed this series.
I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this series, I thought it was going to be a cheesy good vs evil type series, but actually I was pleasantly surprised.
Don’t get me wrong it was definitely cheesy in parts in terms of “love being the greatest power of all”, but I think it held a good narrative in the end. It makes you think about the way we perceive others and that we don’t always understand what people are truly going through. Sometimes a simple smile & kind words can make a whole world of difference to someone’s days.
I liked the blossoming relationship between Somchai & Lin and enjoyed the characters interactions with one another.
My only thing that I was a little disappointed in was that I was expecting more from the showdown between Michael & Satan. It kind of felt a bit lacklustre considering part of the storyline focus was the whole good vs evil, so yeah but other than that the series was really good.
The side characters were an interesting mix too and I enjoyed what they brought to the overall story.
