ACTUALLY I'M AN INTP!!!!!
Hey guys, I've been inactive for so long so I'll be surprised if anyone is still here, but I initially stopped posting on this blog because I discovered that I was an INTP and I was too lazy to change everything. I'm going to begin posting here again! First thing tomorrow I'll change my url and account etc. Thanks y'all

astrology entails more than sun signs. There is moon and ascendant signs, which is where most people normally start looking into. From there you have a sign for each of the astral bodies in the solar system and you also have 12 houses and aspects which add a lot to the mix.
That makes sense and sounds fun. Thank you for explaining. I couldn't tell if people were taking it seriously or not.

Astrology = ?
I'm quite frankly confused with Tumblr's apparent astrology obsession. It is impossible to exhibit character traits solely based on when you were born. The descriptions for each sign are written so that anyone can relate to them to some degree. With this said, I am a Cancer, who is known to be extremely emotional. Every Cancer description is the polar opposite of my personality. Further, I am only more confused as to why many MBTI fans also engage with astrology. MBTI is based entirely on an intricately studied theory, while astrology is less of a theory and more of a for-fun activity. Do people truly believe in astrology or is it all just for fun? Either way, I do not see the point.

Never thought I'd find such an accurate description of Ni in an obscure Aaron Burr biography. "...inability to distinguish reality from the make-believe world of his imagination...learned nothing from his bitter, disillusioning experiences." This guy was one hell of an INTJ.

I relate to this 100%.
I feel really uncomfortable when INTJs on Tumblr constantly remind everyone how set they are on world domination and dictatorship… my Ni merely consists of planning my next seven meals and losing things.

INTJ - both intuitive and analytic
A survey of sorts
Hello, denizens of tumblr, and particularly those of you with an interest in MBTI! I found an interesting test on “thinking styles”, and I’d like to see if MBTI types have any bearing on the results. It’s a short test involving categorizing things into groups. If you do take it, please let me know your results and MBTI type, either by reblogging this post or sending me an ask. (If other people are interested in the results, I’ll post them if I get enough responses.) Thanks!
Link to the test is here: http://www.labinthewild.org/studies/analytic_test/
#i cheated tho#i realized how they were grouping them halfway thru#and then just chose even amounts#eh

I'm an INTJ. I fit all the damn stereotypes - I took an "MBTI stereotypes" quiz that was meant to be utter bullshit and still got INTJ. Everyone always asks me what I'm mad about. I have a vast knowledge base. I am "cold and analytical." People always tell me that they think I'm reading their minds, lmao. I'm probably just thinking about waffles. I love reading, math, computer science, and making influential background decisions. I've mapped out (literally drawn on paper) my entire life, with several branches of different possibilities that could occur and the outcomes of those events. That's it. Yee.
How are you a stereotype?
One thing I always have to remember is that stereotypes exist because there is at least some truth to it. Stereotypes are only bad if we start making judgements because of them. So in what ways are you a walking stereotype?
For me, I’m an ENFP who loses my keys and phone multiple times a day. Its just part of my life. I also switch hobbies frequently and change topics when I talk. And I talk fast. Like Lorelei Gilmore (ENFP!) Fast.
Its interesting to think about the stereotypes applied to yourself.

Conversation
Types on a movie night
ISTP: laughs out loud when the protagonist dies
ESTP: dubs over the characters in dumb voices
INTP: keeps telling people trivia they've read about the casting process for the film
ENTP: eats 80% of the available popcorn and ruins dramatic moments with witty comments
INFP: secretly roots for the bad guy because he has the most interesting backstory
ENFP: battles with ENTP over the remaining 20% of the popcorn
ISFP: secretly looks around to see people's reactions to their favorite scene
ESFP: keeps chatting with their friends on the phone, occasionally looks up to the movie and asks what's happening
ISFJ: couldn't care less about the protagonist dying, tears up when the dog dies
ESFJ: keeps telling ENTP and ESTP to stop ruining the movie
ISTJ: patiently explains ESFP what's going on each time they ask
ESTJ: has given up trying to watch the movie, instead starts pointing out things saying "that wouldn't really happen"
INTJ: somehow manages to focus on the movie despite the ruckus around them, sees the end twist from miles ahead
ENTJ: argues with ESTJ claiming the things they point out could really happen
INFJ: openly roots for the bad guy because he has the most interesting backstory
ENFJ: asks which movie they should watch next, is disappointed when everyone's had enough and leaves

First child (me): INTJ Second child (sister): INFJ Third child (sister): ESFP
MBTI and birth order survey
Hi everybody!
There’re some theories about birth order and personality, some other people says that personality doesn’t actually have noting to do with one’s birth order.
Still, I’m interested on finding out if there’s some correlation between people’s birth order and MBTI personality type.
Could you, please, reblog this with your MBTI type and if you’re:
-Only child
- Oldest child
- Middle child
- Youngest child
Thanks to everybody participating! If I collect enough data I’ll do some graphs and stuff :D
Also, if you know your brother’s and sister’s MBTI type, you could add it with their birth order too?
