You can joke about how “embarrassing” and “childish” it is for the king of hell to have an obsession with rubber ducks but you can’t ignore the fact that they clearly bring some sort of comfort to him. He’s incredibly lonely and depressed, his wife left him and he hardly talks to his daughter - he’s also treated as a joke. Alastor mocking his height/not seeing him as someone who should be respected and Satan trying to take credit for hell, making himself seem better than Lucifer

He’s lonely, he has to pretend that his rubber ducks are people because he has no one. Maybe he’s trying to recreate how he and Lilith would sit at the table together since one duck is sitting on a pillow to look “taller” than the other one

Don’t think about how lucifer was constantly seen as troublemaker for being a dreamer - someone whose way of thinking was too “dangerous” because they didn’t share the same views. Him being God’s favourite and most beautiful angel didn’t mean anything, he was only there for “decoration”. Only to be seen, not heard. Don’t think about how they probably ignored him whenever he spoke, or shut down any of his ideas. His purpose was to sit there and look pretty while he watched the other angels create things. Don’t think how this most likely affected him when he fell - he neglected his royal duties as he was never listened to, he saw no reason in trying, even if he was the one in control now

I find it so annoying when people complain about lucifer’s design, saying that he’s not scary enough to look like the devil. Lucifer is a fallen angel, he was God’s favourite and most beautiful angel, he’s going to keep those features. His pure white skin and red cheeks remind me of a porcelain doll, which could be to show that he’s meant to be pretty. Lucifer wasn’t created in/for hell, he’s not going to look like the other sins because he had a different purpose before he fell. I personally think that his design is good, it reminds you that he wasn’t actually a bad person, he was banished for doing something that he thought would help - it was a gift. Lucifer is supposed to be pretty and that most likely wont change, not even his demon form made him look scary or ugly
