As the trainer flew about in the sky, he couldn't help but wonder if Green got the message since he never did reply. Maybe he was out on one of those research projects or maybe he was too busy making another newbie trainer cry. Whatever the reason was, Gold surely hoped that the gym leader wasn't too busy. It would've been a real bummer to go to Kanto only to see absolutely no one.

It didn't take long for the Pokémon to touch down in Viridian City with his trainer literally right on him. The city itself looked pretty much the same from the last time he saw it except maybe a few extra buildings and road here and there. But there was no doubt it was the place where Green now resided; the Viridian gym stuck out over the other buildings, which looked identical to one another. 

"Thanks Togetaro!" Gold beamed with excitement, hopping off his Togekiss despite the very fact they were still a few feet away from the ground. As he leapt off, he called his partner back into its red and white capsule and landed perfectly fine with both feet planted on the ground. Now, time to see Green.

The teen stood in front of the doors of Green's gym and dramatically clapped his hand together before pushing each hand as far away from each other as he could. "Open sesame!" he said rather loudly, earning him some dirty looks. But hey, who cared? They didn't know who he was and he didn't really care to know who they were. 

With that being said, the automatic doors welcomed him in and the boy waltzed in as if it were his second home. Gold couldn't help but wonder if he was being just a little too homey but he shook that thought off as a faint scent of food caught his nose. It didn't smell like a gourmet  buffet but it was enough to catch his attention. So Green did get his message but he was just too lazy to reply. "I'll forgive him this time," Gold thought to himself as he entered further through the gym, "After all, he's made food AND I'm an awesomely wonderful dude. No need to hold a grudge over something this tiny."

Strangely enough, there were no trainers around yet the front door was opened to the public to just peek in. What was even weirder was that Green wasn't in his usual place in the very back of the gym, as every gym leader would be standing there waiting. The Viridian gym leader wasn't even here to greet him! His stomach started growling again and the scent of food wasn't helping. Hmm. Well, desperate times called for desperate measures. Gold took a breath in before hollering, "YO GREEN! I'M HERE, BRO. DON'T TELL ME YOU FORGOT ABOUT ME."

A Visit to Kanto || Gold & Green

It was what? A year? Probably. But he wasn’t counting.

Gold hadn’t seen Kanto for what he deemed a REALLLLY long time. Not only was the region itself missed, his old friends were missed too. At first, it was like “Whew-finally-time-to-spoil-myself” but as time flew, it ended up like “wow-I-didn’t-even-see-those-guys-since-forever”.

Although Gold wasn’t exactly the kind of dude to do reunions, he figured why the hell not. He had spare time and it wasn’t as if the world needed saving…again.

First on his list was actually Red…though, when he did touch down to Pallet Town, not a single person knew his whereabouts. One name crossed out. Second was to visit that beauty, Yellow. The boy was sure that she had grown even more beautiful since he last saw her but…he didn’t even know where to begin searching for her. Another name crossed out for now. There was also Blue on that list…but knowing her, she was probably everywhere, running her own errands as usual. Yet another crossed out for now. This led him all the way down to Green. Nothing was wrong with Green…yet at the same time, it was almost like the brunet was the only one of the four that he never really held a conversation with. However…at least Gold knew where Green was out of the four friends he made in Kanto.

With a light toss in the air, the trainer called out Togetaro, his trusty pal with somewhat of an attitude problem, to fly him to Viridian City. As the two took off to the sky, the boy clicked a few buttons on his Pokégear to message Green. “Heya, Green Beans. It’s Gold. I’m coming to Viridian so you better have the day off to show me around! Also, I’m starving, dude. Have something ready, will ya? Thanks pal!” Gold chirped into the gadget, excitement building up at the thought of possibly free food awaiting him……and seeing Green too.

Gold didn't even resist being shoved away, knowing full well that it was indeed strange for the two of them to have lip-to-lip contact. But, what's done was done and at least the pills would provide some aid to Silver. 

By now, Gold was actually used to the other getting upset over his actions, though Silver never seemed to actually mean it. So instead, he just shrugged and stuck out his tongue at Silver before adding, "Sorry, Silv, did I steal your first? Well hey, at least you took the medicine. So it's a win-win, you got a kiss AND you took your meds."

  In all honesty, Gold was somewhat hesitant whether he should actually feed it to Silver since he didn’t want to push his luck and end up back to square one. However, he didn’t want his friend to die of some silly virus that could’ve been handled with the help of a tiny pill. As he watched Silver shoot daggers through his eyes, the healthier of the two thought that if he managed to make it this far with him, then it shouldn’t hurt to start all over. 

With that in thought, Gold hesitantly took both pills into his mouth and drank a good bit of water before setting the glass on the table. 'Here goes nothing though, I might end up catching Silver's virus like this.” With that being said, the boy grabbed both of the hands trapping those pale-pink plumps and yanked them aside. Before the other could react, Gold smashed his lips against the other, causing a painful jolt to run against his teeth.

"There's more where that came from," the boy chuckled, "But really, Silv. It's better for you to take it." With that being said, he pushed the pill in front of Silver's lips and cooed, "Now say 'ahhhhhh' and open up!"

  "A robber would come into any home as long as there’s stuff in it to take. You should know that yourself, Silv, you sneaky thief. First, you steal pokémon and now you’re stealing my innocent heart," Gold laughed, trying to lighten the mood, "I mean, you’re just begging for me to feed you these pills, aren’t you? Alright, if you insist. Last chance!"

Gold chuckled at the fact that Silver was still being defensive even when he clearly needed help, “Offfff course you don’t need my help. But hey, you should actually be glad I’m here. I mean, what if you get robbed while being sick? I can beat them off and you can definitely thank me later,” he joked, leaving for a few minutes before coming back with two pills and a warm glass of water in both hands. “Drink up, Silv. Thouuugh, if you don’t hurry up and get better, then that means you get to hang out with me even longer.”
